Alrighty, this idea was met with a good amount of enthusiasm, so I'm rolling with it:

Welcome to the official ultrasound thread.  In an effort to filter out drive by AWs, and be able to focus on the people who are actual community members, please post your ultrasound pics here!  Anyone who takes the effort to read this post is probably not a drive by, and cares about everyone here .

So have at it, ladies!  Let's fill this place with beans!

This was our bean's first ultrasound.  It was supposed to be at 8 weeks, but I ovulated late due to a loss in the prior cycle, so we were actually at 7 weeks 4 days.



This was the second U/S done unexpectedly due to bright red bleeding due to a SCH that lasted a week.  It is exactly two weeks after the first one at 9 weeks 4 days.  I still can't get over how much different it looks in two weeks!

My bean at 6+5 measuring 7+3. Next scan is next week 9/26.

This was my little babe's first US just over 2 weeks ago, at 8w2d.  My next one isn't until 11/22

here's mine from 7 weeks and 4 days.  I'm just like @psuxray07 won't have another one until November.

Here is our little baby at 8w3d. After struggling with infertility for over 15 years it's always a shock for me to actually see a baby growing in there. Im ama and high risk so I was told i will be having lots of monitoring. I wish my next ultrasound was November! I will be going to the dr way more than I'd like.

@ngolimento  I know!  They had me as high risk at a different hospital bc of my pre-existing high BP before.  I had more US's, and I may have had US "connections" at work lol.  Now I don't.  It's hard for me not being able to see baby in there and not know what's going on.  I feel less connected, but that could also be my 4yo always preoccupying me, lol.  Can't wait to feel him/her and see in there again!

I love this idea. I haven't even opened the other one because there is way too much to sift through. I have my first appt tomorrow and who knows when I'll get an u/s- I honestly think my anatomy scan will be my only u/s this time (last time I needed a dating scan- this time I shouldn't need one- and we had an abnormal anatomy scan that required frequent monitoring, so I got ALL THE ULTRASOUNDS last time!)
ETA: This time I'd rather not have a reason to have so many ultrasounds, but it was a silver lining

This was my second one last Tuesday and I was measuring about 7 weeks. I wish they had given me a better quality pic!  I have another one tomorrow at my first OB appt.

Here is my little bean. I never posted it to the ultrasound thread because that one got so bloated. I've also been so sick with HG that I simply read the posts on here lol.
Anyway, here is the little bean at 7w5days. Next ultrasound is on 9/25.

Here's the bean at 6+3. (Almost two weeks ago.) I'll get another one at 9+6, and it's so cool looking at all of yours for a glimpse of how much things will have changed by then!!!

This was ours at 8.5ish weeks about a month ago posted on the original thread... next one is our NT scan on Friday at 13+1.  So anxious for that one!  Love this thread

@bagowater I was talking about the same thing yesterday in my ticker change. Insurance won't pay for dating ultrasounds.  I am hoping for less scans this time.  I paid over a grand with my first mfm ultrasound, definitely don't want that again. Dd's first Christmas was sparse due to my pregnancy's medical bills.

Aw so many great pics love seeing them and how fast they grow!!! Think my next one won't be until 22 weeks so I'll share an up to date one  then this one is from 2.5 weeks ago. I was 8 weeks and a couple days.

@bagowater with my 1st I had ultrasounds all the time too. I wasn't high risk but they had dating issues and felt she was so big they kept monitoring. With my 2nd I literally had just 2 ultrasounds. It's good everything was well but made me more nervous going down to 2 ultrasounds during the entire 9 months where with my first I had 5 or 6 altogether!

Last week @11w2d. Won't have another until Nov 14th @20w1d. Seems so far away!

Even if you don't have another u/s until 20ish weeks, your provider will probably use the Doppler at every appt. That will help put your mind at ease. Just remember, you don't need a lot of u/s because you and your baby are healthy and that's a wonderful thing!

I keep telling myself that!  I was fortunate to get a dating us with ds because my provider didn't  treat moms of multiples and she really wanted to rule that out early and let me find a new provider if that was the case.  Then because he went past his due date we did the non stress test so we got a sneak peak at him the day he was born. With dd I only had the anatomy scan.   tw with my first m/c I had a dating us at 8 weeks. End tw

This was today at 7w6d. Finally got an official due date of May 1. Think I will still hang around here though!

This was at 10+2. They said we're keeping the same date even though baby is big! We've started using code name Chippy to talk about baby because in the video baby was kicking all over and sort of looked like a little chipmunk

I'm measuring 8+1/2 today, so they're changing my due date to 4/30. It's a huge relief to finally see the baby and the heart beating!

I finally get to post here!! I'm 10+2 but baby measured 11weeks but they are not going to change my due date. Top photo baby was waving at us. Little blurry.

Here is our baby-to-be, affectionately named "Critter." I'm in love with the nose (and to be honest, also just about everything else about him/her). This was 12 weeks and 3 days.
