@mileswithmyles I get the bistro salad kits from Costco. I love the chicken caeser and the Santa Fe chicken. Noosa yogurt is my new favorite thing ever. They have tons of flavors, and they're made without HFCS. It's creamy and very satisfying. Costco has these little snack packs with cheese, pretzels, carrots, and grapes, and they're fairly cheap, but I've just been doing my own version with cheese sticks (Colby jack), carrots, pretzels, and whatever fruit we have in the house(currently blackberries).
I feel like I am in a lunch/snack rut right now. What's everybody eating for lunch and snacks these days?
I've been eating wraps, salads, leftovers from the night before for lunch. As far as snacks, fruit, yogurt with granola, spreadable cheese and crackers.

Yes leftovers are awesome. I'm planning to make some pad Thai tonight and eat it for lunch all week

I make my own trail mix for snacks (like the Sargento snack boxes). I also usually try to keep fresh fruit on hand that I can throw into my purse - like an apple, orange, or banana.
For lunches- it's a toss up. I usually bring leftovers to work, but then end up buying from the cafe becasue something else sounds better. Ha.
Some easy go-to meals are Greek pasta (pasta, sundried tomatoes, feta, spinach, cream, chicken), quiche, or "clean out the fridge" pizza (to use left over veggies and cheese).
I wish I could take leftovers. I travel to several school sites and lunch is often in my car, so I don't have the ability to heat anything up. @Jennifer102011 what do you put in your wraps?

Pasta salad could be a good option. Cold pizza (if you're into that, which I'm not). Hummus and veggies/pita chips, chips and guacamole, pb&j... I'm sure I'll think of more.
@mileswithmyles Usually I do a creamy chicken salad wrap. Or I'll use whatever meat I have on hand - turkey or chicken- with spinach, spicy mustard, avocado, and sprouts. If you do something that doesn't have to be heated up, you can put it in a lunch bag with ice packs.
Ooh when I was pregnant last time I would make this salad: grilled chicken, spinach/baby greens, avocado, blueberries, and apples, with the Panera poppyseed dressing. It was so good.
@mileswithmyles it's one of my favorite dressings. I like that it's "creamy" without actually being a creamy dressing. And I love that you can buy it at target.

@mileswithmyles We have the same travelling lunch lifestyle! Ive been relying on little healthy snack-type foods that are easily portable. Hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruit, trail mix, and veggie sticks are a regular lunch for me lately.

That sounds delicious. This thread is making me drool.

I know, I need all the foods now.
Good news - we are knocked up and have an excuse to eat all the foods now. "The baby needs it" is my favourite excuse. (You'll see me next week regretting that comment in the healthy habits thread...)
I'm on special assignment observing and mentoring new high school and middle school teachers. I work mostly with special education teachers because that is what I taught in YH classroom, but I have worked with all content areas at this point.
TW- Loss Mentioned........................ I've been collecting maternity clothes ever since I first found out about the first pg back in 8/16 which ended in ectopic. I've had 2 more losses since then. I think my coping mechanism was buying maternity clothes for the "future". I buy and sell clothes on ebay anyhow so all of my clothes are secondhand. Whenever I went out to buy clothes to sell for my ebay business I would check out the maternity section as well and pick up whatever looked like my style. Now my question to mommies out there....what's your favorite maternity brand? I go thrifting at least once a week and would love to know what brands you all love that are good quality and comfy. I am hoping I will actually someday get to wear all the clothes I've been hoarding!!!

I didn’t have very many maternity clothes with my first pregnancy but I loved my side scrunched tank tops from Ingrid and Isabel (the target line) as well as my leggings from them. Also I loved striped pea in the pod t shirts. I pretty much wore leggings with a tank or tee and sweater or flannel on top my whole last pregnancy. Planning to replace my super worn out tank tops and get a few more pairs of leggings whenever I see a good sale. I also bought a couple lularoe tops and dresses a couple months ago hoping they’d make good maternity/postpartum clothes. Last time I really struggled with what to wear the first few postpartum months.
@Kaysquared2 I totally agree about not being sure what to wear postpartum. I ended up wearing some maternity clothes initially and then bought some "regular" clearance Target clothes in a larger size to wear that summer while I was on maternity leave.
@justsuzie I really liked Motherhood Maternity and Destination Maternity. They are the same company as A Pea in a Pod, but slightly less expensive (think of it like Banana Republic vs Gap vs Old Navy). I felt like their clothes were my style and they had items I would have chosen in non-maternity styles. Pink Blush also has some really cute items.

I didn't really wear maternity clothes with my first. Mostly because I could never find any that fit me well/right. Destination maternity/motherhood maternity, even target's maternity clothes were all too big on me (even with a giant baby bump) and I just looked silly in them. I've looked at h&m's maternity and ASOS, so I'll probably try them this time around.
I just bought a bunch of cute maternity stuff on zulily, because I have no self control and will need it eventually. I like to use the fact that I have to look presentable at work as an excuse to shop.

I had to start wearing maternity pants around 10 weeks last time and pretty quickly after shirts because my boobs were massive. And I hadn’t gained weight at that point. Totally justified because zulily takes forever to ship lol.
@justsuzie I love gap maternity jeans. They fit me better than any others. For shirts I mostly got cheap plain shirts and tanks at Old Navy and few nicer ones at Target.
@dinonugget I'm very petite and feel like they might be a problem with maternity. It already is with regular clothes. I love the way the petit gap clothes fit so I bet the maternity line is awesome.

ETA: I remember how to make one, but I can't remember how to put it in your signature.
