I know we are all still very early but I was curious if anyone ells is as impatient as I am and already bought baby goodies! Also I thought it would be fun to see what the first thing bought after finding out was for everyone!
last weeks as 3 1/2 weeks I got a Kate Spade dipper bag while we were at the outlets to celebrate!
We bought a baby blanket from our favorite baseball team (we went to a game on our first date) last year before we were TTC. We havent bought anything since but Im anxious to get a little onesie or something. I, however, have started a registry.

@justkeepswimming8 I kinda wanted to start a registry as I come across products I love when I'm researching things but thought it was to early. I might have to soon!
I started driving to buy buy baby yesterday and realized its a little early to buy anything especially without my man's input lol he wants to be involved as much as possible which I love but I wanna go by everything already!!!
I already have a girl, so I'm waiting until I know the gender to buy things. If it's a girl, I already have everything I need. If it's a boy, then I can have fun! But I know I'll need a bigger diaper bag, so I've been researching which ones are best for multiples.
Fighting the urge to buy a swing off a swap shop I'm in. I need to wait until our US at least. But coincidentally there have been two posted the past 2 days
I have 2 girls already, so if we have a girl we are set, if we have a boy then I am going to go into major sale mode and purge these thousands of little girl clothes we have stored away. We didn't find out the sex with my first two, but we are going to this time in part so we can purge if we are able to. I don't think we can fit any more baby stuff in this house...
I haven't bought anything for the baby but I bought myself some maternity clothes! The second my regular clothes start getting tight I can't stand it!!
like most others I have a DD so if we have another girl we will be set. If we have a boy if anything I'll need more clothes (even though some of DD clothes a boy could wear). I wasn't big on super girly stuff so some clothes we have are gender neutral. Plus all the big items like stroller, pack n play, car seat, swing/seat are gender neutral cause we knew we wanted two kids so we made sure we would be able to use no matter the gender.
FYI, this would have made a really good GTKY on the daily ticker change thread, or in a weekly check in, rather than as its own thread. It's not a big deal, but we've got a long road ahead of us with many GTKYs to think up Just something to keep in mind before posting a new thread...

@MrsFox1315 Can you link that diaper bag/share a pic? I think I need it
I haven't bought anything yet. My sister's youngest will just turn 2 when this LO arrives so I plan to get as much from her second-hand as I can. Most of it is stuff I loaned her from when my son was a baby anyway.
We literally found out on 8/4 so we haven't bought anything. But I probably won't buy anything till I know the sex OR I'm feeling especially spendy about a product I didn't get last time (i.e. New diaper bag that can be used with DS, new nursing bras that double as maternity bras etc)
I probably won't really buy anything until I know if it's a boy or girl. My son is about to turn 4 and we have all his clothes and stuff. If it's another boy, I'll probably be searching for a coming home outfit first
I bought the stuffed lamb at Pottery Barn Kids that plays different white noise for the baby to fall asleep to. I almost fell asleep at the store sitting on one of the rocking chairs with it, so it works!
Bought maternity jeans this afternoon. The bloating is making anything other than leggings sooo uncomfortable. DH thinks Im crazy, but they're really cute and comfortable!
@julzy My sister and my best friend both just had their second babies and bought a doc a tot and they both love it and their babies sleep way better than their firsts. They both swear it's because of that!
@MrsFox1315 - this is just my own personal experience/opinion, but the Halo Bassinest is the biggest waste of money ever. I was obsessed with getting one just before DS was born, and he HATED it. We then gave it to my SIL for her son, and he hated it, too. We've since tried it with our daughter and with my SIL's second son as well, and all of them hated it. Not one kid out of four would sleep in it. It has an exceptionally hard and flat sleeping surface, which in theory is great for infants, but it just doesn't work. It's currently the most expensive dust collector we have in our house
Oh wow! My son did well in the bassinest but my issue with it was that I felt like he outgrew it too quickly and I wasn't ready to have him in his own room yet.

Omg agree. That freakin thing is so expensive!
I love the idea of having a bassinet but they were just never practical for us. We always ended up using a plain ole pack n play in our room. Or the RNP.... we do love the RNP for certain circumstances.

There were many nights that sleep sheep put me to sleep instead of my baby. That thing is incredible
@kmalls that's something to keep in mind for sure. With 2 dogs I just can't have anything low to the ground like the bouncer sets over night, but we'll see I guess.
So far we have only bought a really soft blanket. I let my DD pick something out for "Baby Seahorse." She will be 6 when the baby comes so we are essentially starting over. We will prob start early with purchasing everything we need.
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
We aren't going to be getting much until I go through what I have from DD (not much, when I moved out I left most everything behind, it wasn't worth it at the time) I still "baby" wear my toddler and loved how much we did early on so my first baby purchase this time around was a ring sling so excited!
I bought a book and a bib, but only because they will be part of the "tell my parent's" surprise. However, I have a full list going and have added everything suggested on different sites. This will be my first, so I'm sure there are things on the list not needed, but don't care at this point. Too excited! DH wants to start buying stuff now, but I want to know the gender first.

I also bought a $0.50 baby girl onesie at goodwill the day after I found out. We have a ton of boy stuff already, so why not be prepared either way?
We pretty much have everything except clothing.
I've looked at tons if other things, but have had to stop myself from buying out at. DH thinks I have a problem haha
