I have been having smoothies most mornings with spinach and bran flakes and prunes in them. Also, lots of water and extra prunes during the day. All of it is finally helping and I feel much better. I also seemed to just relax after my ultrasound and that helped too. I'm trying to avoid the Colace pills I bought - i only took them for like 3 days last week. Thanks kvacmak and collectiveliving.
@kvacmak please report back! I just emailed a pelvic floor pt that a friend recommended. She actually comes to your house! I hope I hear back from her soon.
MY EYELID WON'T STOP TWITCHING AND IT'S MAKING ME RAGE. STAHHHPPPP. i've been reduced to googling "how to make eyelid stop twitching" which is just about as helpful as you would expect.

@anewadventure My husband has been having this issue for the last week and it's driving him crazy. He read that you have to drink more water, and it's worked so far.
@anewadventure Ugh, I had a persistent eyelid twitch that lasted about 3-4 weeks right after I got my BFP. I also did some desperate Googling to no avail, and eventually the twitch went away. I think it might have been caused by stress + lack of sleep, but it's so hard to tell. I hope yours goes away soon!

Same treatment as Charlie horses...water, potassium, magnesium. It's basically the same symptom in a different spot. I ate a banana the other day when mine was doing that. Worked like a charm.
thanks ladies. @NME44 it would help if i didn't find bananas to be sooo grossss. there are lots of other sources of potassium and magnesium, so i better get on it before i stab someone

You guys with the mac & cheese-sized babies (ticker) are making me crave the orange-colored pasta even though I hate hate hate box mac & cheese (sorry, Kraft-devotees). But today it sounds AMAZING. Pregnancy is weird.
Also the tired at 8-830pm thing is back. WTF. I fell asleep on the couch at 815p last night, and managed to stick it out until 9p when I declared it too late to think and DH was like "Um, it's 9" and looked at me like I was certifiable.
This rib pain has got to go. It's like someone stabbed me straight through on the right side and hurts in both front and back around the same spot. I know that's where Baby B is at, and not much I can do. Any tips? Ice pack and Tylenol doing nothing. Chiropractor maybe?
@kyrwyn Yesterday I slept til almost 11 and got back in bed for the night at 8. I feel you. This was after 3 straight days of being bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at 6:30 AM and being the most productive citizen in the world. I had to go back on Diclegis last week and I think there's enough of it in my system now where I'm back to zombie mode!
Has anyone seen a chiropractor for headaches? I don't really "believe" in chiropractic medicine (long story) but these 48 hour long dull nauseating neck aches and pressure have got to go. Sorry if I've asked this before. Brain no work good.
@elcd458 I started seeing a chiropractor 5 years ago for headaches. I had them DAILY for a year and 3-4 a week for 6 months before that. The neck pain was unreal. I'm usually not this passionate about "alternative" things, but seriously it changed my life. I highly recommend seeing one! Mine won't use the electric stim therapy on me now that I'm pregnant, but just being adjusted keeps me feeling great!

So apparently I've gone from not being interested in water for a while to feeling like there is never enough water again... I pee like every 30-60 minutes...
I have officially taken the most medicine at one time all pregnancy. Before getting in bed I took: 1 ranitidine, 1 Diclegis, 1 Tylenol, and then an hour later, 1 Alka-Seltzer chewable. And of course my prenatal. Phew. I hope I feel like a new woman in the morning!
@elcd458 not to be THAT person, but have you checked with your doctor RE: the alka-seltzer? don't they usually have aspirin in them? (given that a lot of women are specifically prescribed baby aspirin during pregnancy, i don't think it's a big deal, but it seems to be one of those topics no one agrees about...)

Why do I want to eat everything? Like, every time I read/hear/see a food I immediately want it. But I don't want it enough that it's really a pregnancy craving...because I forget about it once I see something else. Lol. It's been happening all day, even when I haven't been hungry.
LO has been a great kicker all week which I loved until he found my bladder. Direct repeat karate kicks to my constantly full bladder has made things...interesting.

Same. I felt like I spent my entire day yesterday in the bathroom.
I can't see my vag anymore!!! I tried super hard in the shower and ended up blindly shaving, not like DH and I have been intimate at all lately so no one will see it.. just a sad moment when no matter how you bend or try to lift your belly, it just doesn't work. Anyone switch to waxing, and is it worth it?
@KathrynJ088 I've never waxed, so I figure now's probably not a good time to start, but I feel you on the sadness of losing all ability to see what you're doing down there.
@KathrynJ088 The only time I wax is when I'm pregnant! I would do it all the time, but can't justify the cost normally. It's so much easier than shaving blind though!
@KathrynJ088 I tried with my pregnancy with DS and my vag was super sensitive so i was in so much pain. I will say that whenever I got it done before pregnancy I always took Advil beforehand and obvi can't do that during pregnancy so that may have been why I found it to be overly sensitive

Has anyone else began thanking their babies when they can fully empty their bladder? I just thanked them out loud in the work bathroom.
ETA: Oh! I bet you're thinking of Goody's powder. I do think that has aspirin in it.
