See she commented again and it started a new page but nothing is there! She's probably saying all kinds of trollish things to us and we don't even know. I've never heard of this on the bump before. Hell, she'll probably respond to this too.
Bring a conversation from the Registry Keep/Toss/Add thread over here, because it's a bit off topic and I didn't want to junk up a great thread with side conversations.
@anewadventure - you mentioned your dog thought Sophie the Giraffe was a dog toy. That got me thinking. My dog thinks EVERYTHING is her toy and she thinks anything with stuffing MUST BE KILLED and have the stuffing removed. Probably a habit we should have broken her of as a puppy, but we didn't. Or we tried and it never worked well. So my question is this - any tips on getting my dog to not chew on all my kid's toys and destroying all her stuffed animals?

@Tennis11785 my dog was the same but she has never once even tried to chew a baby toy. She just knew from the first day thatthe baby had her own things. Maybe you'll get lucky.
@Tennis11785 with the exception of sophie, and some bath squirters, my dog has done well in understanding which toys are the baby's and which are hers. oh, well, except for this one baby doll. geez. i guess there are just some toys that she has to have omg omg but most of them she gets it. hopefully yours will do fine if you take things away and replace with her own toys or otherwise redirect. i'm sure she will need some repetition. it will help at first if baby toys live in the nursery and that when they start getting dragged around the house they will already smell like your LO.

@Tennis11785 our dog will pick up our daughter's toys but is pretty good about dropping them when we tell her no and give her one of her own toys. She is also good when DD takes the dog toys from her. Our prior dog was only really interested in a couple of her toys (mainly the ones that squeak) but was not ok with DD taking his stuff. It takes some training but at first they don't play with a ton of toys so it is easy to contain

@Tennis11785 This is my thought too. I'm not too worried about them chewing plastic/rubber toys, but anything with stuffing is their mission to kill. Like when I brought home that stuffed animal from Target the other day, they knew there was a stuffed animal in the bag before I had even taken it out and were jumping on me thinking I was going to give it to them. One of the stuffed animals my mom bought was in a box on the footstool of the glider in the nursery and one of our dogs just sat there barking at it until I moved it somewhere more hidden.
@ktcakes87 - not only do I not see her posts, but I also never even see her name as the latest poster. I don't know if I just keep missing it or if it's legit not showing up on my computer.

Can anyone see snookie's posts? If she blocked everyone why would she still be posting here?!
Nope, I can't, and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have blocked me because I was kind of MIA when she was around/posting weird stuff. I did see her original posts, but haven't seen anything of hers since her "disappearance". Is she posting and then deleting? I'm not sure if deleting your post would erase your name as "last posted". And then she hangs around and watches us go "wtf?". Just a theory.
@jlemons-2@ktcakes87 I messaged BumpAdmin to ask what's happening. I doubt they'll answer. Or they'll just block her from posting. Honestly I'd rather just be able to see what she posts, so I hope they make that happen! Lol.
@djd0404 You can't delete posts. You can edit to delete/change what you wrote but it would still show that you posted. @MJDsquared I highly doubt you will hear back either. They are the worst sometimes.

@Tennis11785 My dog chews everything, but luckily has only gotten a couple of toys. One thing he has chewed a ton of are pacifiers. My friends dog actually swallowed one whole and had to have surgery to remove it! Not sure what it is about them, but it seems like all the dogs I know love them.
So, I have a question that's kind of pregnancy related. I applied for a job with the city a year ago and they of course called me today for an interview. Should I go? Tell them I'm pregnant? What about maternity leave if I do get the job? I don't know how any of this works.
@jlemons-2 - You are under no obligation to tell them. While they can't make their decision based on your status, many people don't tell just so it's never a question. I know several people who have revealed that once they received a job offer, with the attempt to negotiate maternity. Usually for FLMA you have to have been there for a full year. But you might be able to negotiate something in.

jlemons-2 My $.02 is to take the interview if you are still interested in the position. Do not tell them you are pregnant - they also cannot ask if you are showing. If you are offered the job I would disclose the pregnancy at that time if the offer was in writing.
As far as maternity leave, you will not qualify for FMLA, so there are no job protections nor will you be able to buy into a short-term disability plan (most have a 10 month waiting period for pregnancy - but definitely double check this benefit to be certain). I think that you can take 6 weeks without losing your job as it would technically be a disability/medical leave, but I am not 100% certain. For your leave in general, this would be a negotiation factor that I would make prior to accepting the job - do they offer paid leave? If they don't, will you have vacation straight away to take? Since they don't legally have to keep your job for you during leave beyond I think 6 weeks, will they anyway? How long are you wanting to take versus how long are they willing to let you take, paid and/or unpaid?
@Mandayno omg this season is crazy!! I was disgusted by the behavior of some of the house guests in last nights episode. And I'm pissed about the new HOH!
@Tennis11785 My dog was a huge toy stealer/hoarder until my DD was born. Somehow he instinctively knew to never touch her toys. This, however, did not stop him from stealing/destroying my nipple shield and my daughter's pacifiers. Anything that smelled like milk was fair game. Yah, he's a weird dog.
This might belong in the anatomy scan thread, but oh well. At my scan last week they said she was measuring at 15oz and I was 22 weeks. They said that she was in the 30th percentile. How does that work? Everything I have googled says a 22w baby should be 15oz?

At 20 w, ours is looking like 13 oz, which is 85th percentile (according to the tech). I wouldn't worry about it, though. The reason there are percentiles is because there is such a range.
Married May 2014 DD born August 2016 Baby #2 due December 2017
@ktcakes87 I wouldn't worry too much, they said both baby a and baby b were measuring 12 oz but baby a was in the 50th percentile and baby b in the 48th percentile. I think the weight might be just a factor of the percentiles.
Thanks to @andipandicWed121369, @tigercakes, @mjdsquared, @anewadventure, @cait5413, @jlemons-2 (and anyone I missed) who chimed in about the dog. Hopefully my pups also recognize the difference between baby toys and puppy toys! It's reassuring to know others' dogs have been able to make the distinction.

What do you all do for adult fun?! We have parent's night out tonight at daycare and there are no movies we want to see that fit in our time window. We are going to eat, but then it's like uhhh.... Now what? When did I become so old and boring?
@tamaraaaa DH and I have just started having date nights again and leaving DD with a babysitter. We usually do dinner, sometimes a movie. Do you have bowling nearby? Sometimes that is fun. We also booked a couples massage once when family was in town to watch DD. We're also going to a special event in town next month--it's like a dessert cook-off for regional pastry chefs with some wine and whiskey tasting, tea pairings (the preggos say Thanks, organizers!), and some food that's not dessert, too. We keep an eye out for things like that. We've also considered a cooking class, but most of the ones being offered lately are not menus I am crazy about.

@ktcakes87 I don't know that this is true or not, but I believe that percentile could be taking into consideration length measurements along with the weight??? Such as with @KathrynJ088 both babies weigh the same (seen by I believe the "gurthiness" as well??), but one may be longer and leaner making one 50th percentile and one 48th percentile. Where as your baby may have an "average" weight but be longer and leaner making baby a lower percentile. Again, this is only an educated guess though! This is definitely not something I would worry about yet! At 20wk mine was measuring about 41 percentile and my doctor was not the slightest concerned.
@TigerCakes I completely agree with you that the behavior by almost the entire house was disgusting! The bullying is just ridiculous! It's really sad to watch Mark get bullied and how upset he gets about it due to his past. As soon as they start in you can just tell he is defeated!
@tamaraaaa yes! This whole season is just crazy! It is actually nice to see a cast that is overall pretty "real" though. But the HOH.......UGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! NOT what I wanted!
I have tickets to Lady Gaga next Sunday and I think I'm going to sell. The thought of traffic and parking, not drinking and then having to drive home late... It's all so unappealing right now. I feel like such a dud for fun.
@tamaraaaa Oh man I'm jealous. I'd love to see Gaga live. I'm not necessarily her target audience but I just think she is so phenomenally talented when she's not wasting time being weird and wearing meat and whatnot. I know how you feel, though. Last week we had tix to see a broadway show that was touring through the area and I was completely dreading it. In the end, I had a marvelous time and was so glad we went, even though I may have pouted a little on the way.
