This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say, and treat this like an ongoing conversation.
Diagnosis (If you've been):
Cycle/CD:
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?)
How are things going?
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring?
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Right now I'm waiting for AF so I can start on my BC. I have to call the fertility clinic today so I can arrange for a tour there and give them all my money.
How are things going? Fast! Between IVF treatments and the start of the new school year, it's going to be busy for the next few weeks. This will be the last relatively calm week for a while.
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? A comfy mattress in a waterproof/bugproof liner, some sort of fire starter, a good knife.
Me: 35 DH: 28 TTC since June 2016 Azoospermia diagnosis (zero count) Dec 2016 AZFc chromosome microdeletion discovery March 2017 Unsuccessful TESE for DH in August 2017 October 2017 IVF with donor sperm
29R, 24M, 16F, 2d5, 4d6 (6 embryos total) Only 3 could have PGS. 2/3 normal. 5 embies frozen 12/15/17 FET #1 (1 embryo)--CP 2/7/17 FET #2 (2 embryos)--BFN Chronic endometritis diagnosis May 2018
ERA Sept 2018--borderline receptive--12 more hours of progesterone Abnormal SIS Oct 2018 Repeat hysteroscopy Nov 1. Treated recurring endometritis. 12/4/18 FET #3 (2 embryos)--BFN Our journey has come to an end.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Just started progesterone suppositories last night. My BW showed mildly low progesterone last cycle at 8DPO, which I'm thinking is more a symptom of my low AMH and egg quality. But sure, I'll stick stuff up my hooha and enjoy the lovely discharge that comes with it.
I'm also working to rid our house of BPA and as many phthalates as humanly possible
How are things going? Not great. My RE isn't impressing me in the least, and trying to figure out what our other options are is exhausting. Healthcare in this state is depressing, so we'd probably have to look at going out of state for other IF treatment options. I sent my RE a message on Friday with 3 questions, and they responded but pretty much didn't answer anything. Like, I asked if I should start progesterone at 3 or 4 DPO, and they responded "yes start your progesterone after you ovulate". And I asked about IUI vs IVF and listed a bunch of sub-questions related to our insurance coverage and my BW, family planning, etc. and they responded "Dr. Christensen thinks its reasonable to try IUI first." They also send me conflicting instructions on my progesterone - one nurse said to insert it 2x per day, the other said 1x per day.
I was, however, able to spend a lovely weekend visiting my sister and her ILs (her ILs live about 4 hours from where I live, so when she visits them I drive to visit them and her too). I stayed with her BIL, who lives on a beautiful tree farm, so it was a lot of fun. The only tough thing was watching all the cute kids run around and play together.
Oh, and it turns out that rapidly unloading the clip of an AR 15 is very therapeutic. And I'm SO not a gun person.
Any questions? what are some of your favorite paraben and phthalate free products???
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? fishing pole, and my cell phone/charger (you didn't say the island didn't have electricity!)
@AlohaKumu Good luck calling the fertility clinic and scheduling your tour. Enjoy your last calm week
@lund Your RE is so frustrating!!! Are you still considering seeing one in CO when you visit next month? I like Acure and Tata Harper for paraben/phthalate free face products. Method makes the best foaming body wash that is paraben free! I haven't found great hair products yet.
@lund the Honest company makes a really nice body lotion and you can even buy it at Target where I live. Also I was surprised to find that sephora online usually says if the product is "paraben free" etc. Your RE makes me so ragey.
@AlohaKumu Wow you do have a busy couple of weeks coming up! Enjoy this time before the craziness. Sounds like you have some positive things to look forward to!
@lund Glad you had a nice time with your "in-laws"! Sorry you get such a run-around from your RE office. That sounds incredibly frustrating, I can't imagine having to deal with that. Ugh.
Hi everyone! I'm currently mobile and sitting in the BJs parking lot, but ill go back and tag everyone once I'm home
Diagnosis (If you've been): unspecified IF (so far)
Cycle/CD: 8/22
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) I'm waiting for AF to show up since I have low hopes for a BFP this cycle, and then testing starts.
How are things going? Meh. There's such a big part of me that believes I'll get pregnant on my own, but there's just so much disappointment every month. I'm glad to have a plan in place, but it's still tough.
Any questions? Anyone's partner push back on doing the SA? My husband will do it, but he's dragging his feet so hard. I think it's less about being worried that something is wrong with him, and more about being embarrassed about the actual act of getting the specimen in the cup He knows he's being ridiculous, but I'm mildly peeved I have to keep nagging him to just do it already.
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Cell phone and charger, because my deserted island has electricity and wifi, plus a flint to start fire. Ain't nobody got time to rub some sticks together.
@lund so much side eye to your RE office. But I'm so glad that you had a nice, relaxing weekend!
AFM
Diagnosis (If you've been): NIR PCOS
Cycle/CD: 17/30
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) FET
How are things going? Ugh I'm dying from this TWW. I'm not having any sort of symptoms whatsoever, which I know is pretty meaningless this early on - I know. It's just frustrating. I was thinking of testing Wednesday, but after reading about a few people getting false negatives 7dpt I think I might actually wait until Thursday. The fewer tests the better. My beta will be the 22nd.
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? The Harry Potter box set Um survival tools? A boat?
@lund I would be so annoyed at those "answers". They didn't help at all!
@kmalls maybe you should go into detail about all the testing you have to do--his is relatively easy!!
@antoto it has to be harder than normal to wait now!!
Diagnosis (If you've been): AMA (still waiting for first RE appt)
Cycle/CD: 8/21
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) not much. Starting EOD today. *tw*. Before my ectopic, this would be the start of my FW. After EP, it would start in another week. But I'm afraid of my body going back to my normal so EOD starts now *end TW *
How are things going? Finishing the initial RE paperwork and making H finish it so I can drop it off today.
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Cell phone, charger, lighter to light fires
@kmalls With my DH, he was the same way. I pointed out to him everything I had to do (check CM, pee on sticks, BW, etc) and all he had to do was this. And of course he was excited about me helping him We made it fun (he never gets HJs from me lol)
What are you doing this cycle? Waiting for RE appt 7/25
How are things going? Ok so far. Just anxious for the appt and what treatment he is going to suggest. Good news is our IF insurance coverage is excellent, so that helps
Any questions? I know it's different for everyone, but how long after your initial RE appt did you start with treatment? Next cycle? I will be CD 11 on the day of my appointment, I've had cd22 BW done twice in the past 5 months
@AlohaKumu glad things are moving. I hope everything goes according to plan. Lol at giving them all your money. I know how true that is! @lund sorry for all the frustrations with your RE's office. I would call and let them know so they can hopefully get their act together. @kmalls my DH complains about the process of the SA as well. His first one was awful and took forever. He could hear the doctor talking on the phone in the next room the whole time. Some offices will let you collect at home then drop it off it you live close by (at my office you have to live 30 mins away or less) so maybe you can look into that. @antoto I can't even imagine how hard this tww is for you. Big hugs to you and I hope you can hold out until Thursday. FX for you!
Diagnosis (If you've been): severe MFI, low AMH Cycle/CD: ?1.5yrs, CD 15 I think
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Harassing the RE's office today to see if we can get his repeat SA results before our follow up appointment Thursday. He did it last Thursday.
How are things going? Ok I guess. Just anxious about the results of the repeat SA and our appointment on Thursday. We will finally have a plan after all of this.
Any questions? Nope
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Unlimited supply of fresh water, tool box, lots of books to read.
Let me start by saying all the good thoughts are with TWWers this week. So many movie forward steps and fingers are crossed so hard for you ladies
@AlohaKumu you are so close to get started! Enjoy the calm before the storm @lund yikes. Your RE office is scary sounding. I hope it all gets magically better or destination ivf is in your future (hmmm maybe a new travel agency idea?) @kmalls my DH was the exact same way. I had to promise a mind blowing bj the day after the SA @RVAmom315 congrats on the coverage! It's so huge to make plans on real medical advice and not cost @antoto FX so hard
Diagnosis (If you've been): DOR and mild MFI

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Femara+IUI on 7/3. Had one follie and no trigger was needed. I surged on my own
How are things going? Meh, BFN this morning 14DPIUI with a wondfo. Just WFAF. This third cycle will be our last IUI and then we will be moving on to ivf. I plan on chatting with my doctor about the protocol this time around, I want to put every effort into this cycle. Amicably the focus on next month is what is holding me together for this month
Any questions? I'm sure there will be as the week goes on
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Phone and charger Water purifier DH (assuming he is a thing)

@lund I've started progesterone on 3&4 dpo and my RE never said anything to me. This cycle when I took my Ovidrel on a Saturday night he wanted me to start progesterone that Tuesday morning this time. Hope that maybe helps! For hair products I really like the Aveda line. I'm pretty sure it's paraben and phthalate free.
@kmalls My DH was embarrassed about bringing his sample to the hospital (we did it through my OB-GYN and not RE). I told him to suck it up because every time I go to an appointment something is being put up my vagina. He didn't say much after that and finally did it.
@antoto oh longest tww ever! I hope you find something to keep yourself busy! Keeping you in my thoughts that you have the best end of the week!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) First medicated cycle. Femera, Ovidrel, (with TI) and progesterone.
How are things going? Pretty good. I tested this morning to see if the trigger was out of my system and it was (9DPT). I should hold off until next Monday but at the earliest Friday. It will be the longest week ever. They doubled my progesterone so I've been more bloated than normal but nothing that stretchy pants can't fix.
Any questions? I know this isn't rational but is anyone afraid to do anything like working out? Maybe it's because of my history but I've been afraid to workout since I took the ovidrel because you know my uterus might reject my egg if there's too much stress on my body...sigh..
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? I don't even camp so I have no idea where to start. 1.water 2.shelter-tent? 3.food
@lund The RE situation sounds beyond frustrating. It really peeves me that it can be so difficult for women to access quality healthcare and fertility options in many states. It sounds like your weekend with your sister was great, though. @kmalls DH didn't really drag his feet about the SA, but he drags his feet about every other medical issue. He had strep for almost a week before he gave it to me and I made him come to the clinic. Even now he insists that he wasn't "sick" because it was just an "infection." (An infection that required minor surgical intervention because he waited so long.) @antoto We are all anxiously waiting with you! @purplg8r Teachers start on July 31 and the kiddos start August 7. I'm glad I have so much prep time, but I know half of it will be eaten by meetings. I hope all goes well dropping off your paperwork. @WillRunForWine21 Super bummer about the BFN. It sounds like you are being a great advocate for yourself. I hope your RE will be aggressive for the final IUI.
Me: 35 DH: 28 TTC since June 2016 Azoospermia diagnosis (zero count) Dec 2016 AZFc chromosome microdeletion discovery March 2017 Unsuccessful TESE for DH in August 2017 October 2017 IVF with donor sperm

Sorry I lost internet and then half of my responses. Let me try this again.
@AlohaKumu enjoy your calm week! Excited for you that things are starting to happen! @purplg8r I'm sorry your body is so out of it's norm. That's a great plan, hopefully you don't miss anything! @RVAmom315 We waited a cycle after our initial appointment because I didn't want to do a medicated cycle on top of a SIS. It will be all personal preference and what the RE office wants to get done before they will do anything. FX you don't have to wait long. @safire3 I hope you can get those results soon! @WillRunForWine21 I'm so sorry about your bfn. Hugs
@AlohaKumu glad that things are going by fast hopefully the whole IVF process will be quick and smooth for you!
@lund fellow "hooha" referencer here! Sorry for the confusion and poor follow up from your RE. Are there any other options or states that would be close for better care?
@kmalls I know MH did not feel comfortable doing the SA at all, especially since we live an hour away from the RE he had to produce a sample there. I just would give him a lot of encouragement before he went but he's gotten through it. I'm sure it's super uncomfortable for them
@antoto girl I can only imagine how you feel waiting being how eager I am for you to test! Fx so hard for you!!!
@purplg8r glad you're getting started with EOD to be proactive! Hopefully FW comes quick!
@RVAmom315 so glad you have good IF coverage, definitely a rare thing unfortunately!
@mispanda I can definitely relate to the fear with working out. I think some of it is just me avoiding it but definitely concerned at the same time even though I know it might not be rational. Sorry I don't have more helpful feedback for you!
Diagnosis (If you've been): unexplained
Cycle/CD: 20/18
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) letrozole, ovidrel, IUI, prayer
How are things going? Things are going okay. We've been busy at home with the repairs and everything so that's been keeping me occupied although I am having a really hard time staying distracted during the TWW.
@haylsbayls thanks for the recommendations! I like Acure too and I'll check out the others that you recommended I'm considering having a consult with an RE when I'm in CO next month, the only tough thing is the extra flight costs if we end up using a CO RE for IVF or IUI. I know that in the grand IF scheme of things the cost of flights would be of minimal, but of course that cost wouldn't go towards our insurance deductible or anything, so its something to consider. It seems like such a great solution, and then the $$$$ starts adding up and I get freaked out.
@saralee797-2 thanks! I need to look at the Honest Company products when I go to the city - right now I have a few of their products in my cart on Thrive Market. And it's nice to hear that I'm not being unreasonable by being annoyed/disappointed in my RE. Of course it would be even nicer if I didn't have to be annoyed/disappointed in my RE....
@antoto I'd love to know what you're doing to keep yourself from going nuts during this "tww"! I'd be in a ball on the floor lol.
@purplg8r I'm impressed by your dedication to EOD! I swear DH and I do EOD for a week and I never want to see a penis again lol.
@RVAmom315 FX for your appointment! By "treatment" do you mean completing your testing? Or moving forward with meds/IUI/etc? We had our first RE appointment in June, and we still haven't done anything other than complete the diagnostics.
@safire3 FX for your next appointment and DH's SA!
@WillRunForWine21 OMG that's the best travel agency idea!!! And, so sorry for the BFN I probably missed it in previous posts, but how have you been responding to the IUI meds?
@mispanda yeah I decided (on my own thanks to Google) to start my progesterone at 3DPO. I also decided on my own to split the suppository in half and insert 2x per day. I figure this is a decent way to do things since one person at my RE's office said one pill 2x per day, and one person said one pill 1x per day. I'm a renegade of progesterone lol. I used to work for Aveda! I love their products but can't bring myself to pay retail for them since i used to get them 40% off lol.
@kmalls I think a good portion of DHs push back in some way about the SA. It's an awkward thing, and of course they don't want to end up being the problem. When I approached the subject with DH I caught him in a "good" moment because I'd just cried about a BFN so he was trying to make me feel better. So, getting him to agree to it wasn't too hard, and then I had my obgyn order the test and I scheduled the appointment for him...... so I guess I didn't give him much choice!
@beachbunnyxo123 There are a few options for out of state clinics, but the extra travel and lodging costs make me hesitant since we already can't even really afford IUIs or IVF anyway. Like, we'll do it if we have to, but I keep dragging my feet hoping that either my RE will shape up, or I'll magically get KU magically.
@lund does your Rx bottle say 1x or 2x daily. I usually go by what the bottle says because it's the RX from the doctor. Not a great reason but I've gotten multiple different answers from nurses and it was always irritating!
Diagnosis (If you've been): Unexplained secondary IF
Cycle/CD: I don't even know..cycle 21 or some crap. CD 7
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Currently taking Follistim 75 and upping dose to 100 starting tonight, trigger, IUI, progesterone
How are things going? Not that great actually. I'm completely overwhelmed. I couldn't even manage to post here the last few weeks because by the time I got to it, I was 100s of posts behind and couldn't catch up. My brain is just on overdrive. We're moving into our house that I'm SO excited for at the end of Aug, but the excitement is being overshadowed by disappointment of the failure of our first IUI last cycle. I really really though it was going to be it. With the house coming through and some other personal things that all seemed to line up, I really thought ok, this is it! But NOPE. Now we're in the middle of IUI cycle #2 and I have zero hope it will work. I just feel like I'm a zombie going through the motions. I know I'd regret not giving it a full on shot with a few IUI cycles, but it's hard to have hope that anything will work. My in laws were in town over the weekend and my MIL said some pretty rude things about us looking into adoption. Like: why can't you just be happy with the one you have? and why would you want to adopt a child that will bring all kinds of baggage? I was so seething angry at her I didn't sleep at all that night. Trust me lady, I WISH I could take away the desire to have more kids, then I could save myself a whole heck of a lot of heartache. And don't even get me started on the 'baggage' comment. Needless to say, we're moving forward with looking into adopting and we're attending an informational meeting about it tonight at 7p. I'm actually looking forward to it!
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Tent, Kindle w/ unlimited battery life, sunscreen
@AlohaKumu Girl I feel you on shelling out all the moneys. We've been putting all of our IF treatments on our travel rewards card (to actually get something fun out of all the $ we're spending) and I just checked the statement balance. Big mistake. I hope you find some peace in this last week of somewhat restfulness!
@lund Ugh that is frustrating!! I've been considering a second opinion and switching to another office as well. I have many issues with our RE. But we are severely lacking in options as well, unless I drive into NYC. Glad you had a great weekend!
@kmalls My DH hates anytime he has to have some fun into a cup, but he knows I don't want to hear any complaints any more. If that's the only 'procedure' he has to do (and it has been, so far), I say he can deal. But then, I've been a pretty bitter betty lately so maybe don't take my advice.
@antoto Girrrrrl I'm so excited for your beta!! I haven't been posting as much, but I'm still stalking my ladies in their TWW's!
@RVAmom315 We had the first appt in Sept 2016 but didn't begin testing until Dec, mostly because I was in denial that I needed the help and was too scared to move forward with it. If you are ready to move forward then your RE will start you as soon as possible based on your cycle. My RE did all of my initial BW on CD3.
@mispanda I actually think you are fine to work out as long as it is consistent with your past level of intensity during a medicated cycle. It may even be better for circulation etc. I was told exercise was okay except when I was stimming for IVF because there is a risk to damaging your ovaries (called ovarian torsion) because you are producing so many follicles. To be honest, I was so uncomfortable at that point I didn't want to exercise anyway. FX for good news later this week!
@RVAmom315 I guess it depends on your doctor. I see many, many women on here with REs who have strong opinions about timelines, etc., but my obgyn and RE are pretty much willing to let me call the shots. Both situations have their pros and cons, but I think you're right that since you're AMA they'll let you move things along as quickly as you're comfortable with.
@mispanda the box says 1 pill inserted 2x per day. You're right that I should probably follow that...
@TravelingCouple HUGE HUGE throat punch to your MIL. Like WTAF??? I'm glad you're feeling good about the adoption meeting, though!
What are you doing: Just had my very first IUI last Wednesday night, plus a turkey baster load on Thursday morning
How's it going: I'm going BSC, of course. I was pretty crampy Thursday, and have had a mild crampy pressure since. I vacillate between wondering if I got some sort of infection to thinking I'm a unicorn who can tell right after insemination that something is going on in there. Other than that, I'm good. The process went well, and since I managed to pick the correct day, I'm feeling better about my ability to do this with the midwife going forward. Now I just worry about whether I'm picking the right time...should it be later in the day or earlier? Should I have done the turkey baster sooner? Like I said, BSeffingC.
GTKY: Apparently I think less about survival and more about emotional well being. I'd bring good books, good music, and enough chocolate to keep me going, LOL.

@TravelingCouple I just want to give you a huge hug. I am so sorry you are dealing with all these feelings of being stressed and overwhelmed. And for your MIL to come in and say those things? Just awful. I understand about people saying "well at least you have one, can't you just be happy with one?" bull - believe me I wish I could remove my desire for more children, but I can't. Sorry. Try to stay positive. I know it's hard, and it's so easy to spiral into those feelings, but you will get there, and have a great reward at the end of it, no matter how you got there. Have fun at the meeting, please update us on what you find out
@lund oh okay i see what you're saying. Maybe if you talk with them about your concerns things will be cleared up. I know I had some similar issues with the staff at my REs office although it was my RE I did voice my concerns and things have been improving a bit so hopefully the same will happen for you!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) We had our first MFI Urology appointment today. I've been anxiously awaiting this appointment, hoping the dude would do the physical exam and say something to the extent of "it's a blockage.. I'll repair it and then you two can get to having a child the ol' fashioned way." Nope. Everything felt fine, so we are unfortunately working with non-obstructive azoospermia. On the plus side, we liked the doctor (I especially like that he is top in his field). Although he was very evasive about answering questions such as "what are our chances" and "what are our options" etc., which I realize is because there are no answers to those questions until the testing comes back and we have the data. DH did lots of blood work including hormores (FSH, Testosterone, LH and estradiol) and genetic testing for Y chromosome micro deletion and one other which.
How are things going? So stressed. Doctor said the genetic stuff takes 3 weeks to come back so we set our next appointment for 4 weeks. I'm so scared that it will come back with terrible news, that we will never be able to have children. I know it's out of my control, but it's a terrible feeling.
Any questions? I know we are still far out from this discussion, but for those of you who have needed to have that discussion with DH about the possibility of sperm donors, how do you even approach that??
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Lighter, machete, never ending bottle of wine (that's a thing, right??)
@travelingcouple all the hugs so sorry about your MILs comments and insensitivity. When is your US on the meds? Have you been responding to them better than the meds last cycle? Btw can't believe you'll be closing on the house that quickly, so exciting! Good luck tonight! Let us know how it goes!
@Aurora1973 hope this TWW flies by for you! I know I'm struggling too and just with all the excitement from so many treatment cycles happening this month!
@JuneRoseRuby sounds busy and like you have a lot going on! I don't know how you do it all! Hope next week goes well and gives a lot of good information!
@LeilaK9288 I know how absolutely awful it is to wait for those testing results for azoo, especially since the genetic testing takes so long. But no matter what the root cause is, often they can extract sperm from the testes even if none are present in the ejaculate. (I legit just ugly cried with hope reading this study that talks about DH's condition and the 81% success rate finding sperm they had in this cohort.)
DH and I both made a short list of potential sperm donors once we were informed of our options and had private conversations with those two individuals. We told them that we didn't need/want an answer immediately, but that it was a decision we were asking them to consider, if it comes to that. If we do the surgery and don't find sperm for DH next month, I'm going to need a few months off before we re-approach our known donors.
This is so nerve-wracking, but you are not alone.

@TravelingCouple Your MIL sounds like a peach. All of your friends in the computer think you're amazing and that the decision to adopt is beautiful. And some of us, me for sure, send this her way:

@kmalls My H wasn't exactly thrilled about having to do a SA either, but somehow he managed. He had to do it at the Dr. office, and (TMI) did have some trouble getting it in the cup haha. It's gotta be awkward, but most of us have to do some weird things to try and get KU! @RVAmom515 We didn't come up with a plan at our initial RE appt. It was mostly talking, and then BW and she ordered my H's SA. @safire3 Sorry for the wait. FX you get some sort of plan in place soon! @WillRunForWine21 Sorry for the BFN. How are things going? So impatient. I don't feel any different. Boobs hurt but they always do around this time. My embryo was a day 3 so I'm try to hold out as long as possible but Wednesday will be the earliest. Mostly because I have no tests.

@lund I use Renpure Tea Tree & Lemon Sage shampoo and conditioner and like them for the most part (I have super fine wavy hair). I'm obsessed with Lotus Moon Vitamin B hydrating gel moisturizer, and the brand in general is really upfront about which of their products contain parabens, etc (though they try to keep products as natural as possible). I know I've mentioned it before, but I also subscribe to Yuzen to find new products. It's a quarterly subscription box with an emphasis on providing eco-friendly/natural/organic products.
@kmalls mine did at first as well...he's a pro now, but he was so embarrassed the first time he had to do one. I have no advice other than to say that, if they have to do it a lot, they eventually get over the embarrassment, lol.
@RVAmom515 it's been 7 months and we still haven't started treatment...but that's our fault, not our RE's. We're exhausting the process with the RU first, so I'd say it depends what you want to do. Our RE is ready to move whenever we decide what we want to do.
@TravelingCouple that love tit is a hug. I'm sorry that you had to deal with that crap from your MIL this weekend.

They're going somewhere, so at least there's that. Still no word on H's bw, but he did get in for his u/s today. Per the tech, there is a varicocele on one side that's throwing heat, but it's only 2mm, and the RU will call with more info. It's small, so it's likely the RU will classify it as a Grade 1. Prelim research indicates that with it only on one side and small, that it's probably not causing the OAT, and surgery is unlikely to improve numbers, but we'll wait to see what the RU has to say.
Any questions? Nope.

@lund Your RE is so frustrating!!! Are you still considering seeing one in CO when you visit next month? I like Acure and Tata Harper for paraben/phthalate free face products. Method makes the best foaming body wash that is paraben free! I haven't found great hair products yet.

@lund yikes. Your RE office is scary sounding. I hope it all gets magically better or destination ivf is in your future (hmmm maybe a new travel agency idea?)

@kmalls DH didn't really drag his feet about the SA, but he drags his feet about every other medical issue. He had strep for almost a week before he gave it to me and I made him come to the clinic. Even now he insists that he wasn't "sick" because it was just an "infection." (An infection that required minor surgical intervention because he waited so long.)
@antoto We are all anxiously waiting with you!

Cycle/CD: trying not to keep track, gets upsetting
Any questions? I know we are still far out from this discussion, but for those of you who have needed to have that discussion with DH about the possibility of sperm donors, how do you even approach that??
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring? Lighter, machete, never ending bottle of wine (that's a thing, right??)

@LeilaK9288 I can't imagine the waiting. I hope you find out soon! @AlohaKumu it's so cool that you have not one but two potential known donors. I hope it doesn't come to that for you, but that if it does, at least one of them agrees!

Lots of hugs
@beachbunnyxo123 Sorry if I missed it, but when is your TWW up?
@TravelingCouple Sorry for the failed IUI. You have so much going on right now, I am so sorry your MIL is adding to everything with that BS Hugs.
@AuroraRose FX for IUI success!
@JuneRoseRuby GL at your upcoming IUI consult!
@LeilaK9288 Glad you like your Dr so far. Sorry that you are feeling so stressed.
Cycle/CD: 19...
Any questions?
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring?
My dog
A shotgun
Alcohol lots of it
@lund I use Renpure Tea Tree & Lemon Sage shampoo and conditioner and like them for the most part (I have super fine wavy hair).
@WillRunForWine21 sorry about the bfn.
@TravelingCouple that love tit is a hug. I'm sorry that you had to deal with that crap from your MIL this weekend.
Diagnosis (If you've been): MFI & ov dysfunction
Cycle/CD: month 28/CD17
Testing (slash maybe treatment...)
Any questions?
Nope.
GTKY: If you were on a deserted island and could only have 3 things what would you bring?
1 - HP because reading material is a must.
2 - a tent
3 - a fire starter
ETA: @lund (and anyone else who might be looking for products). There's also this list from EWG which is fairly new. All of the products listed (and carrying the mark) must meet stringent criteria, including being paraben/phthalate/a bajillion other chemicals free.
@beachbunnyxo123 how are the repairs coming?
@TravelingCouple I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. And your MIL needs to mind her own business! I would have been do pissed!!
@Aurora1973 I'm sure it's extra hard NOT to be BSC right now!
@JuneRoseRuby what kind of part time job did you get?
@LeilaK9288 I'm glad you liked the Dr! FX the BW comes back with something that can be fixed
@kiwi2628 oh I'd totally bring my dog too!
@leekat14 FX for you!!
@zwink1 hopefully the results come back soon!
