Nausea on and off constantly but haven't thrown up. The RPL has decreased a bit for me since the nausea started at exactly 6 weeks. I'm super bloated and afraid to buy maternity clothes because I don't want to jinx myself!
I have ongoing constipation issues and used to take miralax. My doctor said it was fine to continue to take it during pregnancy but I still feel weird doing it. Has anyone else talked to their doctors about it?
@vflux33 Are you back on dairy? If so, I'd try 2T of chia seeds in a serving of yogurt daily. If yogurt is a no-go, maybe make chia pudding with the same amount of chia + coconut milk or something + fruit & maybe a bit of sweetener.

@vflux33 If you're afraid to but maternity clothes this early in the game, you could at least get a BellaBand. They work pretty well to hold your unbuttoned pants up comfortably while just looking like you have a tank top on under your shirt. (I have no experience with the non-name brand versions of this, but I know BellaBand works.)
@kiki75 Thanks for the tip! I am back on (limited) dairy, but so far just a tiny bit of cheese for the first time today and lots of buttered bagels. If I get to a point where yogurt or pudding sounds appetizing I'll def try that! I did manage to choke down a few colace with lunch just now at least...
@wisewitch222@becausescience Thank you for the recommendation! Looking it up on amazon now. I've been on a sundress kick to hide the bloat but will eventually run out of those and the Bellaband looks like a good thing to have around.
I'm 5w6d (maybe a few days off) and have had slight waves of nausea, but not really, mostly just exhaustion. I was having frequent urination but that stopped...my PGAL brain is working in overdrive. My boobs were sore but not really anymore...I also POAS (stupid) on Thursday and it came out much fainter than it had been on Monday so I'm freaking out about that and that makes the disappearing symptoms worse. Blah. Ultrasound is Monday afternoon.
I had several tests that should have been way darker based on my hcg. I wouldn't worry about the tests now. I hope all is well on Monday.
Well after seven hours in the ER, I've been released. I got pretty much the best news I could hope for. They found the baby and a heartbeat and they said my cervix is closed and that there's no bleeding in the actual uterus. They believe that I'm 70% likely to have a normal pregnancy so let's pray that it stays that way. I need to follow up with my OB on Monday and get my first appointment moved up.
Also, I was given a gown to wear at the hospital that was literally covered in poop. Fitting since that's pretty much how my day went.
@GeekBeagle yaaaaaaaaaaaaay I've been thinking of you all day!!!!!! I'm sorry, I know today must have been horrible for you, so glad it ended with the best possible outcome!!!!!!

My OB said twin pregnancy symptoms can be more intense and she wasn't kidding! I'm SO nauseous all the time, almost wish I could just barf and feel better! Also having aversions to so much - UGH!
Def feeling the round ligament pain earlier on this time than I did with my daughter, and HOLY HEADACHE... just like one constant headache for the last 2 weeks.
After our ultrasound on Friday my RE said the nurse would call me that afternoon and discuss options for nausea relief, but of course no call, so I've been extra ticked all weekend knowing I could have some relief already if she had called when she was supposed to!
6w6d today and am starting to get slightly nauseous. Also my boobs are still SO SORE, but not as sore as they were at 4w. I'm hoping this is still a good sign. I also have some minor lower back aches and cramps, but no bleeding! I have started noticing my heightened sense of smell. Thank goodness I haven't had any food aversions yet! Im guessing these are all still good signs. I've been recently the last few days noticing that I sometimes will have none of these symptoms and feel like I'm not pregnant but then one comes back and I feel much better. Makes me less anxious about waiting 2 more weeks for another ultrasound!
Good news @GeekBeagle! Hoping for a smoother ride the rest of your pregnancy.
My boobs hurt so much! And lately I've been waking up at night feeling like I can't breathe. Oh, and tired all the time. I hope everyone starts feeling better soon.
I went to my first appointment last Monday and all was well. I woke up that Tuesday and most of my symptoms (sore breasts, constipation, and back ache) had gone away. They haven't been back since and I'm now 6 weeks 3 days. My only symptom is really food aversion. Starting to get worried but I have my first ultrasound on the 31st. Fingers crossed!
@bb3vj3n I felt the same way yesterday. I have totally run down days, and I have some decent days, so I'm just trying to make the most of those decent days! The run down days are hard because I have two kids who need to be active and have a mommy who is engaged and playing. It's great because they keep me distracted, but it's really hard because I also wish I could give them more!
@LiveNLove44 I feel like I will never have a good day ever again. I was just saying to my husband that I don't know how mom's do it - I'm not sure I have what it takes to join the strong mama club if I can't even push through this. Your kids are lucky to have a strong mother like you.
I feel like I am becoming the downer on this birth club. I don't want to be. I am just feeling so overwhelmed and I have nobody except my husband to talk to.
@bb3vj3n you are not a downer! This beginning part is HARD and affects some more than others. I wasn't prepared for how much feeling so awful physically affected me emotionally my first pregnancy. Especially if you're not telling people yet and you're suffering in silence! Even yesterday I had a down day and felt overwhelmed. The good news is you will get through it because you have to! The first trimester was the hardest part for me last time. My advice is to not be afraid to ask for help - whether it's getting meds from your doctor or asking friends/family for help. I've been sick all weekend and I hate asking for help but with my husband out of town and a toddler to take care of, the help has been amazing!
@bb3vj3n it's very overwhelming at first. Also the first trimester is the hardest. Don't beat yourself up for feeling like crap! I think most of us do. Today I haven't done crap and my house is a mess and my kids are running around like crazy people. With each trimester there will be challenges. And the newborn is a challenge and a learning experience all by its self. Every pregnancy and every baby is different. Don't feel discouraged. You got this because you are a strong momma.

@justkeeptrying Noticing it here every once and awhile, too. I would probably notice it more often if I were doing my normal activities, but I've been trying to take it easy with this SCH.
