@TravelingCouple omg yayyyyy!!!! Congrats! As for inspectors, find one as said above who will try and touch EVERYTHING. They should try to turn on every burner on the stove. They should get under the crawl space. They should blast the a/c AND turn on the heat. They should see how long the water runs hot for. Every dumb thing.

Congrats @TravelingCouple!!! How exciting! The house sounds beautiful!  <3

@TravelingCouple  Yes and no. At the end of the day, all big decisions are scary, even if they are right. I was mostly worried about 'is this the right house for a starter home' than if buying a house in general was the right choice. If it makes more financial sense than renting, then yes, buying is the right choice. Then its just up to you if you like the house and it sounds like you do, so its probably the right choice. You can do this!

@TravelingCouple it is a scary process and a huge decision! After 12 years of renting, 5 of which were in a high market/high price area, we were ready to buy. We looked at several options and finally found "the one." With that said, I don't see us living in this house forever. We would like to move into something larger in the future, but it's great for where we are in life right now. Just make sure you ask all the questions, especially about whether the owners are aware of any foundation problems or wood destroying insects.

@TravelingCouple Wooo!!! Congrats girl!! I'm really hoping this is the start of things going your way!!!

@BusinessWife Big hugs to you, love... Try and remember that it's normal to have moments that just seem to be too much - that's true with anything this big and this difficult. Keep trying to find your happy place, and we'll be here with you for support along the way <3
