@TravelingCouple@ramzlau I also think some people wear cute socks during IUIs or transfers. I think our girl @wabash15 had a pair or two! Personally, I dislike putting my feet in the stirrups without socks and you feel so naked anyway. I could see it being a cute, supportive thing too.
Ditto @saralee797-2 -- those stirrups are gross. And who doesn't like wearing cute socks? I saw someone on the IF board who made her own for iuis that said "think positive" with a drawing of a +hpt. So cute. Anything that helps you relax and be happy has to be good.
I know this isn't the FFFC thread, but I have an IF thread confession to make: I so want to be the one who gets to post the special signal to check the Grad thread. Damn Pacific Standard Time zone means I don't get to see it first, LOL. I'm so disappointed.

Thanks for thinking of me @madspunk Slow and steady is okay. My RE keeps reminding me that as long as there's growth we are doing okay! *hugs*
Ultrasound this morning still showed growth... just slow growth. Today is stim day 10 and my biggest follicle is 15mm, most of them are around 13. RE said they might up my doses, depending on my bloodwork. So I should get a call about that this afternoon. I now have 17 follicles over 10. Hopefully they all keep going! Sounds like Tuesday is the best estimate for my ER.
@saralee797-2@TravelingCouple and @ramzlau I do have a collection of fun socks and would make sure to wear them to all my ultrasound appointments. If I had to have a collection of people staring at me spread eagle I was going to wear sassy socks. My little way to say FU to IF.

@eggplantface You're the best. Thanks for making me feel better about that, LOL.
AFM, I'm super excited to say that after yesterday's sample, OH and I have a frozen sperm army of 24 vials, which was our goal. I'm so relieved that we're done with that part of things, and that he can start his treatment.
Also, you guys, I feel especially BSC today. I think I mentioned a while back that I finally talked my OB into prescribing Progesterone for me since I've tested on the low side and have short LPs. I've been taking 200 mg of it each night starting on 4 DPO (both he and my acupuncturist thought giving it an extra day to really confirm O was a good idea). The great thing is that this is the first cycle since last August that my LP has gone to 12 days with no spotting (so far today anyway). I've had some cramps on and off the last couple of days, but nothing serious. And TMI alert, but my sex drive is off the charts...poor OH is going to have to suck it up and take care of me tonight because I need to hump something, LOL.
I had a BFN both yesterday and today (assuming no AF, I'm planning to stop the supplement Sunday, 14DPO, if I get another BFN), so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had that happen with Progesterone supplements?

Afm -- houston we have a period! Started this morning. @kiki75@laurad75 I did acupuncture Wednesday evening and she did needles to contract the uterine muscles. I think acupuncture may have been the tipping point...I started getting crampy within 24 hours. I am really really hoping it all gets cleared out so I don't need a repeat d&c and can get back to ttc already. Also it is just in time because I'm so sick of eating parsley and papaya...
YAY @saralee797-2 and @TravelingCouple for getting started with the meds for FET/IUI! I have my fingers crossed so hard for you both
My ovaries definitely feel like hard rocks, and I'm a tiny bit bloated, but not as much as I was expecting tbh. Although I bet when I get some mature ones in there it will get more intense.
I hope so @lulu1180! I just really need something to move forward positively... We've been looking for a house for a year now and have seen so many that just aren't worth dumping our life savings into. We've almost put offers in on quite a few over the year but always get beat out by another buyer. It's been a lot of disappointment and frustration. Running parallel along with TTC for over 1.5 years; I'm just ready for SOMETHING to come through!
@adirat@saralee797-2 asked about you and I piled on, and here you are!! Edited because I wasn't finished and I'm a dork. I'm so so so excited that it worked! I hope it's what you needed to be done with this chapter and start on the new one. FX so hard.

@adirat I'd love to!!! Thanks for asking So it's listed as 4 bedrooms but it's actually 5(!!) Bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. Master bath with 2 sinks, WIC, the kitchen is so beautiful and so much more space than our current kitchen. It's on 5 acres of flat yard and the current owners have taken great care of it, inside and out! There's a wall separating the living and family room that I think we'd tear down to open the house up even more. There's a deck off the side of the house too. DH and I have been saving for a house since we were 20 so it's been a long time coming and we've been very picky looking because we know exactly what we want. I'm just really trying not to get my hopes up.. But too late for that!

As far as socks... I do a lot of Barre classes that require socks and the grippy ones are much better (I wear them at school too because I have my shoes off most of the day working on the mats in the PT gym) and there is a company called "Sticky Be" socks. They are the grippy ones and on the toes they say things.... "be strong", "be fearless", "be enough" and I always wear them in the stirrups. Maybe they would allow to be kept on during an ER because they are grip ones? This is the website: https://stickybesocks.com/
AFM..... I have a plan! Going to pick up my trigger after school and trigger tonight at 11. IUI is on SUnday morning. I am a little sad my doctor isn't the one on call but everyone at the clinic has been so nice and helpful so it should all be great. I went from 3 follicles to 2 though. Left is 22, right is 20.5. So excited to get this first one under my belt!

@saralee797-2 same! I'm currently doing 5units and wearing 4 estrogen patches! The needles are insulin needles and super small and sharp. I usually don't even feel it going in. I have gotten some irritation at the injection site after the fact (some itching and a slight raised rash) but otherwise pretty easy. It does give me terrible migraines for the few days after stopping bcps and before starting estrogen.
@Aurora1973 OMG that is so many vials of sperm. Holy shit.
@TravelingCouple I hope the house works out--it looks beautiful. And happy almost birthday!
As for socks, I have so many good ones--like an entire drawer of funny socks. I have one pair with cat butts, one Chinese food pair, and also a pair with Godzilla in San Francisco. Those are just highlights. I've never had an opportunity to show them off like this before, so to hear this is a trend is kind of exciting, and I'm definitely going to wear a fun pair for my upcoming IUI.

@adirat THIS IS WONDERFUL NEWS. I hope your next steps in this journey are so much easier.
@antoto 19 is an amazing number and I hope it all continues to go well
As far as socks...

I hope so @aurora1973, no word yet on a response...
@adirat YES for AF! Whew! What a relief.
@antoto @saralee797-2 Glad to hear of the IVF progress!
