Re: IF/Testing Weekly Check-in Thread 5/29

  • @antoto Remind me....how many days of stims will that be if you do ER Monday or Tuesday? I feel like my last cycle I didn't stim for very long...but first timer so I have no clue if it was pretty standard

  • @laurad75 I'm so happy that you heard what you needed to hear and that you already have a class scheduled to educate yourself about the process.

@Aurora1973 No, not dairy!!!  I do hope that it helps you but I couldn't imagine giving it up, it's everywhere!

@antoto I'm glad to hear that your doctor said you're responding well.  Can't wait for your ER, I'm so excited for you!

@lulu1180 Thanks...I felt the same way until I made the decision, haha.

@antoto A slow response is still a response...so glad you got good news, and I hope it works out timing wise with your travel!!

I could never give up dairy!!!

    Edit...stupid bump
  • @TravelingCouple Are you doing injectibles and IUI or moving to IVF...I'm on mobile so sorry if you already mentioned this!
  • @TravelingCouple I'm glad you are excited about moving forward with injections! I went through 2 dosage increases of Letrozole and they didn't do anything for me. Added the injections and WHAM! Follicles! I hope it's the same for you. You can totally do it!
  • @leekat14 We're doing Letrozole, Gonal F, IUI and progesterone
    Thanks @madspunk!
  • @leekat14 Well today is day 8 of stims so Monday would be 13 and Tuesday would be 14.

@madspunk Yep!  I go in every day now I think.  Unless they tell me not to when they call with my blood work today.   I wouldn't be surprised if they want me to continue with every other day since I'm behind.
  • @eggplantface I've been waiting for your update!! So glad it went well.  I haven't watched GH in years.  Enjoy!!

    Thanks @saralee797-2 !!

  • Glad it went well @eggplantface!!
Yes they are stretched out @antoto, I'm sure it's TB being TB

  • @eggplantface got it! My RE recommends putting in just one if it's been tested anyway! Sending you sticky vibes! Yay for pupo!
  • @antoto that needle is the worst and I was originally told to inject in my thigh. Pure torture!!!
  • antoto said
YO that Ganirelix shot is blunt AF and super painful.  Good lord WTF.

Also, do my LFAF badges look weird as hell to anyone else?  I haven't changed the formatting but they look really huge and stretched out on my comp.  TF, TB?
So glad they didn't give me that medication, I feel like mine are bad enough! My lupron felt like a dull needle so maybe it is similar, it was the worst!
  • @laurad75 so glad to hear that you got some confirmation after getting the same message from both doctors. So excited for you and btw that mug is badass.

@eggplantface yay girl so glad it went well fx so hard for you!!!
  • Keeping fx for you @leekat14 that your ovaries listen better this time!

  • @ramzlau lots of IUIs on the board soon! Thanks for thinking of me. I have a follie check tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes. Ramzlau, are you getting a beta draw or testing at home this cycle?

  • @ramzlau I've never heard of that. I don't understand the point of exchanging socks though? Do tell
  • @TravelingCouple By googling I found this blog post kind of explains it best from an IF point of view. It is more of a support thing than an actual physical need of socks, but the thought is that socks are one of the few items that you can where during an ER and ET? Not sure if this is accurate. I have also heard of keeping your feet warm during TWW, but I don't have scientific studies to back that. https://www.bubblesandbumps.com/finding-my-dream-sock-buddy-and-surviving-the-big-chill-not-me-my-embryos/
