@natleilynn Don't even get me started on R + F!!!!!! I have the same problem that you do with people I hardly interact with. There is a huge saturation of consultants in my area and I have unfollowed/unfriended probably 15 people on my Facebook because they were posting a thousand things a day each. They all wanted me to use their stuff when I got married for some reason and were upset when I kept declining their invitations for pressure filled "Parties."
@dogperson11 id def go for a drs note for sneakers with skirts. Yes i would rock that lol But i feel you, my old job changed their code while i was working and i had to find a way to hide 3 of my tiny non colored tats. Back of my neck one so no more pony tails. Wrist one : always huge bracelets or you know the large leather one. The clavicle one was the hardest.... Wish i had thought of bacon bandaids back then lol i had to buy expensive makeup to hide it... And it would take 10 mins errrrrrmorning
BF: I took dinner over to a church member's house who had just brought her preemie twins home from the NICU. I was texting the momma, who I had not directly met before, regarding the best time to bring the meal, and she sent me a cute pic of her twinaddees. In response, I said that I would have my twinaddees with me, and she sent a gentle notice that no one would be able to touch or hold the babies. I am all for parents restricting who (if anyone) can hold or touch their baby. I wouldn't have touched the babies or let my DDs near them, but she absolutely had the right to assert herself. It just didn't feel good to be on the receiving end of it. Feels bad
*Siggy warning - loss mentioned* Preemie ID DDs; then DS; then natural M/C; now due 10/17 High risk for pre-term: weekly Makena injections
We went through IVF to get pregnant. My MIL suspects that something is up, because she saw a medical bill on the counter one day when she came over (husband picked it up before she got a good look) and one of our friends let it out that we were trying to have kids a couple years ago (which deserves its own post GRRR), so she can do the math and knows it took a while. But we don't want to tell her or most people really, with some exceptions. She keeps trying to pry it out of me and has even asked MY MOTHER a couple times if she knows if we had any "medical issues." Mind your business, woman! The reason we don't tell her things is because she tries to get into our business so much. Honestly, if she didn't ask so much, I'd tell her more but she makes me not want to tell her anything purely out of spite.
@curlyq423 Thanks, it's not the end of the world but it's definitely going to be a source of stress for him as we figure out what to do next. And his insurance was SO amazing ..... such a bummer!
@ariz17 Thank you! I think I'm going to encourage him to just do real estate full time so we can scale it faster. That puts a lot of pressure on me to keep my stable, salaried job, but he was already stretched so thin trying to do both a "normal" job and manage our investing. It's weird being in a position where I know my opinion is going to decide what we do next ... it feels like so much responsibility!
@migdala sorry to hear that but good news is one of you still has insurance and the real estate can keep him busy! Best of luck whatever y'all decide to do
I didn't want to tell the kids right away what the baby is because we're having our reveal party on the 27th. Dh was all "Oh it will be fine, they won't tell anyone". So we told them and they're thrilled they're getting a brother, especially DS.
MIL was over right before the kids got home from school to take them clothes shopping. The INSTANT they walked in the door, DS came running in and exclaims to MIL that the baby is a boy. I literally just stared at him and was like "are you kidding me??". And his birthday party is on Saturday, if he blurts it out or slips up again, I'm just cancelling the party, because everyone who will be at the reveal will be at his party too.
I know it was an accident because I mean, he's going to be 6 this week, but it still super bums me out. I was SO excited for this party as a way to celebrate our last baby and celebrate this baby after 3 losses.
Welp. DH lost his job this morning, effective in 6 weeks. This is bad timing
I'm so sorry. When I was 7 weeks pregnant with DD I was laid off. At the time DH was a full time college student so it was SO stressful. Thankfully we had a large savings (that we saved to use so I could take time off after baby was born - we saved over a year before getting pregnant) and I found another job 4 months later. The insurance change sucked majorly - we met deductibles on 3 different policies that year because of my job changed. Fingers crossed he finds something quickly!
@bluejeanbabi05 I meannn, I did love her name on there so it wasn't 100% not Vampire Diaries inspired lol. It only annoyed me, because my it was my mom that made the comment and she has never seen the show in her life. She only knew about it because a young guy that works for my parents was like "oh there's a girl on Vampire Diaries named Elena Claire"....so I had to be like "no, her name is not Elena Claire on the show" lol. Honestly, the whole thing sounds dumb when I type it out, but it annoyed me at the time haha.
@ksf13 I love Vampire Diaries and the name Elena. love it!
@migdala So sorry to hear this. It's never easy having something like this happen at such an already crazy time. I hope you guys are able to figure out what to do!
@ksf13 and you know what I just realized too, my Elena's middle name is going to be Catherine after my mom, and the other day I was watching a TVD rerun and it hit me that I'm basically naming her after both the main character and her doppelgänger in my defense, on the show it's with a K.
@migdala I'm so sorry you have to deal with this added stress at the worst time, too. But it sounds like you have a good plan! Fx that everything gets figured out quickly
@migdala sorry to hear about that added stress! DH was laid off when my DS was a baby. it was stressful and a bit scary too, but ended up being a blessing as he found a better job. here's hoping you all have the same outcome with even better insurance!
Day 4 of DH man cold. The first and second day were understandable - he really did sound terrible. But day 3 and 4 are starting to grind my gears. I already can't sleep because of random insomnia and back pain. Now I've got his congested snoring 3 nights in a row on top of it. His only saving grace is that I haven't gotten sick too.
2 weeks ago I was miserably sick for a week. I've had a week's reprieve. Had a sore throat last night (hurts to swallow) so I went to bed early. Woke up this morning with a worse sore throat AND puking.
This is my problem child already. Where is my golden second trimester of rainbows and butterflies?

@natleilynn Right? FB must have changed something in their formulas because old posts keep popping back up to the top. Yes, I saw that you checked in to Top Golf last week. It's really not that interesting!
@natleilynn I agree. The other day I was like "hmm do I just not have a life and I am back to this person's feed again?!" They need to change their algorithms! lol
My BF is my bra and my pants! This bra is already too tight. I just got resized at Victoria's Secret like a month ago... I can only imagine what size I am now!! I swear this bra cutting off my circulation... I just wanna whip it off here at the office. I was also foolish to wear regular jeggings today. Too tight too!
Anddd...my feet have started to swell! WTF. I randomly looked down at my feet yesterday and they look like little balloons! I think its the hot weather! And my crotchal region hurts.
@ariz17 the boob growth is nuts! I was an E cup by the time DD was born (normally a small C). I couldn't believe it! I'm still in my usual bras right now but close to moving up. +1 to the crotchal pain too!!
@bluejeanbabi05 Katherine was on our middle name list too haha. I didn't think about that either. It's beautiful together though lol. We didn't realize until after we had chosen that we have the same last name as Elena of Avalor, but we are keeping it . Yay for a vampire/Disney Princess baby haha.
@ariz17@sdarling2010 I was not ready for the boob growth, lol. I was a 34C (and barely a C) before. I just went bra shopping and got fitted....34G. G. G!!!
@ariz17 my normal bras are painfully tight so I unhook them when I'm driving between appointments lol.
I bought a pack of maternity/nursing bras to try out and they came with bra extenders that magically fit my normal bras. I've been using them when I HAVE to wear a normal bra.
I'm totally cool with all the growing my boobs are willing to do! Normally I'm in between an A and B, so I'm hoping for a C with this pregnancy *crosses fingers*
I have worn underwire maybe 3 or 4 times in the past year and a half. Sports bras all the way.
Plus since my breast reduction, "regular" bras don't fit well because even though my boobs are technically a c cup, they are wider than a normal c, so nothing with underwire fits without spillage
Which also brings me to another BF. I hate that my boobs are getting bigger since I was insanely self conscious about them and felt so amazing after I had my reduction. Now they're getting bigger and I will have days where I will break down in tears over them again. I'm really nervous they'll get huge and then stay that way after baby is born.
Re: Weekly Bitchfest 5/15
On the plus side, it's the car we plan on trading in, so we might be doing that sooner than planned.

Well, he's got 6 weeks lead time to find a new job, right? That's a positive, right?
