I'm pissed off at my body today. I'm having bed rest today because my ~everything~ is so inflamed that I'm struggling with the 12 steps to the toilet. This is both nerve and joint pain in my arms and legs. I have my phone propped up and have to talk instead of hold it and type.

I started getting the sniffles last night, along with a scratchy throat, sneezing a lot and a little headache. This morning I can add swollen glands to the list with a major sinus headache. My favorite thing while pregnant - a nasty cold! AWESOME.
@Brambles23 good luck to you and the AC unit! Its going to be close to 90 this week for us too and I cannot imagine not having AC especially while being pregnant.
Also, +1 on being nervous and insecure about baby names. I dread answering when people ask me! I think from now on we're gonna keep it a secret... except for on here
Ugh...woke up this morning and my sinuses are killing me. I'm hoping I'm not getting sick. I've managed to stay healthy up until this point. My neck is also a little jammed up. I'm going to see if I can make it into the chiropractor today to see if that helps things. Sometimes my sinuses clear up after an adjustment.

My BF is my cats. We had a friend staying with us last night, and our attention-needy cats were trying to claw their way into the guest room because they can't handle someone being in the house and not paying attention to them. So we had to lock them in our bedroom with us and they tried to claw their way out. Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

I think I use to tolerate the patients and the people I work with so much better due to the fact that I could go home and drink wine. This job literally drove me to drinking, and everyone wonders why I'm so unpleasant lately. Like you people make me want to carry a flask in my pocket.

I'm officially declaring defeat for this day. I stayed up way too late last night and I'm beyond useless. I'm going to leave at 3:30 and beat the traffic to go take a nap. My brain is mush.

Also, DH likes to keep the house at 73 degrees, which feels like 23 degrees to me. Maybe I'm becoming anemic again or something, but that is entirely too cold! I sneakily turn it up a few degrees each time I pass the thermostat.
Who the duck schedules a full day of professional leave the last full week of school when grades for exemption status are due? Oh yeah my instructional lead for the county. Sorry seniors all senior teachers will miss your yearbook signing and pancake breakfast.

My H went to happy hour and was supposed to bring me home dinner. It's 9 pm and he's just now coming home. I'm so freaking pissed. It's not cool to make your pregnant wife wait for dinner.
@tyannej you are not alone. It's the end of the school year and I am dying for a glass of wine. I've been pregnant all throughout festival season, which is always in the spring and is always incredibly stressful.
I did sniff my brother's glass of red wine the other night when we were all out to dinner. It was glorious and painful at the same time.
Work has been hell this week so far and I'm so ready for track season to end this weekend.
Also, I'm getting really annoyed that my mom keeps telling DS when we Facetime "Grandma misses you, when are you going to come to my house?"
And I've started replying with "He wants you to come to our house."
Seriously, it's not a one-way fucking street here. It's a 3+ hour drive and sorry but I'm not really up to traveling right now and it's been MONTHS since anyone has come to see us.

DH got annoyed with me because he told me to relax and by 9 when i finally sat i was so cranky but how am I supposed to relax when I need to get stuff done!?
UGH. I just caught a kid cheating on an assignment. As in, he went ON MY DESK UNDER A STACK OF FOLDERS and took another kid's assignment and was taking pictures of it so he could copy. This person is 18 and about ready to graduate from high school. Seriously? Sometimes working with teenagers makes me worry about who will take care of me when I'm old.
@dumbledoredies I would definitely not survive in your house! I have to put on a sweatshirt and long pants when it's under 74 in the house. I'm fine with that temperature (and even 60s) outside, but for some reason that feels really cold when I am inside.

My manager just sent an email reminding everyone of the company dress code. This includes no visible tattoos, no sneakers (unless you have a note from your doctor), and other normal dress stuff. I'm irrationally annoyed because I've been wearing skirts (so much more comfortable then my stupid maternity pants) and I have a small tattoo on the inside of my ankle. It's literally less then 2" long, on the inside of my ankle, and not colorful. I was told I can still wear skirts if it's covered. Sure, I'll wear tall socks with my saddle shoes (insert eye roll here). My manager suggested I cover it with a bandaid. Would it be awful of me to find the most obnoxious bandaids I can find?

DH guilted his parents enough about missing DD's recital this Friday that they're now coming. This means they will be at my house around noon-1:00. Which means I have to put up with them by myself for 3-4 hours before DD has to be at the performance place for dress rehearsal (and probably means DD won't get a nap because she will be too excited grandma and grandpa are here). I then have to drop her off, return home until DH gets home from work and then head back for the actual recital. That's another hour+ totally alone with them. Someone may get a verbal lashing if they don't keep their crazy to themselves ... and it won't be me!
Update to my original BF ... the inlaws are now spending the night on Thursday. Thank goodness we already had a play date scheduled with good friends during the day, otherwise they would've shown up at noon. I said nope, sorry, late in the day is fine but we have plans until at least 3:00. Minimal time at home alone with them before DH gets home! But now we have to make dinner because DH feels bad about asking them to go out instead (wtf??). I have a stash of food in the freezer that gets us through the end of the month. This is going to almost wipe us out of protein, along with fruit and veggies. So now I have to go grocery shopping. I'm super annoyed. And have a nasty cold on top of it all.
