@LadyBugMe101, my hair is coming out. I was looking forward to the luscious hair that comes with pregnancy but it seems to be falling out more than usual.
@LadyBugMe101 if I have, I haven't noticed. I have really thick hair and it falls out all the time all over the place anyway. I'm used to sitting somewhere, standing up, and leaving behind a bunch of hair. Good thing I have lots leftover!
@bcashaw I have an angel of a friend who just gave me 2 options, she'd either come clean for me or take DS out of the house for a few hours. I chose option 2. I know tomorrow I'll regret it when I have all the cleaning left to do, but for now I get to be miserable on my couch in peace and watch Harry Potter.
@BayCamp Hope it goes well and that you are getting help with everything!
This is how I feel:
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
So the itchy knees are back tonight. They are hives. Raised and white but red and itchy and burning all around. I looked up pictures of hives and pregnancy...yep that's what it is! I hope I don't get this every night.
I know I'm not as exhausted as I was in the thick of the first trimester, but my energy levels still suck.
Overall I'm feeling so much better now though. I hit 14 weeks today and the bloating and constipation have been much better and the nausea has been non-existent for a couple weeks. Makes me nervous to type these things out, because I don't want to jinx it, but I wanted to give some hope for those waiting for the turnaround!
Finally kept a few bites of rice down and some water, enough to keep my midwives from insisting I go to the ER for fluids so I'm calling it a win. Still feel weak and off kilter but loads better than earlier.
@rms924 I was so sick. Like. So so sick. Sick to the point of putting my toddler in the bathtub with toys for almost an entire day and letting her watch videos in the bathtub (with no water) while I threw up. All. Day. I was so sick I still can't believe that I wasn't hospitalized. Like SO violently I'll everyday it was horrible. Around 12 weeks I was only throwing up twice a day. And now at 14 weeks I went 4 whole days without throwing up , had one day where I threw up a few times and wasn't feeling great, and now haven't thrown up at all today and honestly I'm feeling physically fantastic. I have an appetite and I'm holding down food. All is well I'm sure you will get there too, I just hope you get there soon !
@ArtificialRed thank you! I'm 11 weeks 4 days and ended up coming home from work early cause waves of nuasea and dizziness made it so standing was getting hard. I had one good day this week but then it hit Hard again today. I actually keep everything down pretty much, but when I get nuasea I get dizzy, they just go together for me. So annoying but that one good day made me have hope for a turnaround someday soon (I did bow out of a camping trip this weekend though cause a 4 hour car ride in the mountains each way sounds like a nightmare currently) also ligament pain. Holy heck any time I sneeze I want to cry. The ligament pain lasted my whole pregnancy last time, but it's worth during baby growth spurts sooo I guess this kid is growing great!
@LadyBugMe101 I think that is most likely due to your five month old. During pregnancy, your hair actually falls out less and gets thicker, but around 4-5 months postpartum, it starts to fall out like crazy.
I keep feeling like things are crawling on me. I heard there's actually a name for that. I'm trying to ignore it, but I look crazy checking my feet every five minutes. I'm not sure if it's an official symptom but it never happened before.

@bcashaw your story makes me feel like such a baby! I keep a lot of food down! hahhaa but I am just nonstop nauseous and dizzy. But then just like that, I woke up and I was totally fine today. I am not going to jinx it. Could it have lifted so quickly?
@rms924 hopefully it is getting better. Every time I feel like I'm doing better I eat and then it's non stop nausea after that. I am not really throwing up either but being nauseous with no relief is not fun.
@angkay711 and @bcashaw thanks! It's funny, I am realizing it just feels like a really bad hangover that won't go away. But so far so good and I've eaten a lot so far! I am almost getting nervous hahaha
Kinda freaking out. Had WIERD black swimming things in my vision today when vomiting. Kind of like when you shut your eyes really tight for awhile then open them in bright light. Anyone yes lose have this? Was I just hurling too hard?
@MissMonroe11 my grandmother did say it could be that, because she lost so much hair after having her children... she said it's just overlapping with this pregnancy so I'm just confusing it for a symptom.
I asked my dr and she said hair loss during pregnancy can be a result of poor nutrition or lack of vitamins. I take all vitamins plus some to accompany my epilepsy meds. I've had terrible MS which I don't think is of great impact to my nutrition. I hope it gets better or I'll end up balding eek!
Today I got out of my car and smelled the grass being cut and a rotten egg smell, but my coworker didn't notice the sulfur-like stuff. I'm stuffed up, so I shrugged. We got inside and walked down one of the hallways, where he noticed the stench in the art room. Apparently they poured a cleaner down the drain and I smelled it 1,000 feet away outside!?!

@NYTino24 super nose. It's kind of scary. Also I had a floater as a kid and I don't remember it being like this , but I will talk to my midwife about it
@bcashaw I had those black spots before almost passing out due to low BP and blood sugar after donating blood.

@NYTino24 fantastic. I'll call my midwife in the morning. I was throwing up really violently and am still feeling very weak/tired/drained. I am now drinking Gatorade because I wasn't even holding down water and got worried about hydration and electrolytes
I had a little crazy day. I woke up with a lot of anxiety and ran to my OBs office to make a physical copy of my test results because I was unsure if I heard the nurse right (in my head). Then after I got there I demanded to be seen so that I could hear the heartbeat on the Doppler. The nurse was very nice though and taked to my dr for me and he agreed to see me every two weeks instead of 4. Idon't know what's going on mentally. I'm just working my self up over nothing. I have had zero symptoms since last week and feel absolutely fine. The nausea is gone, exhaustion is limited and I feel great frankly standard second trimester signs but my PGAL brain is constantly trying to bring me down. Sorry this is not a symptom thing but more of a vent. I'll be okay and will cope in someway but just wanted to get it out there that I'm feeling great physically but mentall not there yet. One step at a time.
@ShePersisted solidarity. ❤ we will get through this.
I hurt my wrist some how and just figured I did something but when I casually mentioned it in my mom group on of the other moms said that she always gets carpal tunnels during pregnancy and they go away when the baby is born. So i just assumed she was a bit crazy but rhen like 3 other moms agrees with her. Wtf. Anyone else have this or heard of this? Also I don't think I can deal if this doesn't go away until baby is born
@shepersisted I am feeling the same as you today. So glad you got seen though!
im slowly working myself into a panic cos I'm not sure I can feel my uterus anymore and I'm just spiralling into a panic. I ordered a Doppler online nearly 4 weeks ago and it hasn't come yet, and I want to burn the company down for doing this to me rahhrrrr !!!
I just wanna hear that little heartbeat is that so much to ask ;( ;( ;(
I've only puked once today and my alarm woke me up(rather than nausea). I feel human and may even clean my house today! One day at a time!
@bcashaw I'm glad your feeling at least a bit better. Excessive puking is so debilitating. This will be my 4th round of HG and it's really rough. Today is my first day of feeling human(ish).
In a somewhat related note, I was watching Deep Space 9 and how I wish I could be a pregnant Bajoran. Instead of morning sickness, they sneeze all the time!!! I would trade sneezes for puking ANY DAY!
@ss145 oh that is the worst! I got food poisoning at 23 weeks with my first and it lasted for DAYS. I had to go get fluids since I started contracting a bunch and then they finally told me that some anti diarrhea meds are ok. They let me take immodium (the one that is Not multi symptom) so I would call the Dr and see if it's ok to take something to kinda ease it up. And drink electrolytes so you don't have to get fluids. It'll pass soon, you are getting it out of your system fast. Hope you feel better later today!
@ShePersisted I hear you. (well I am still nauseous, but whatever!). I wouldn't even feel bad about changing the frequency of your visits. Way I think about it, it's way more emotionally turbulent for you and baby if you don't get the reassurance you need. We share the PGAL brain, so yesterday I went in and I was so anxious that my bp was very low and dr was concerned. I guess I am saying there are physical manifestations to anxiety that aren't good for you or lo so do what you need to do, even if that means extra visits to ob.
@ShePersisted I feel the exact same way. Im feeling for the most part great. I'm tired but I've been working a lot. Last week I worked out every day. The only thing keeping me from going in more i that I have my own Doppler so I can listen to baby whenever I want to! I went in last week because I felt a bulge and she checked baby's heartbeat and said it sounded great! My PGAL brain is right there with you
Has anyone else got a weird pressure almost like a full bladder but doesn't go away after going to the bathroom? I woke up with a weird discomfort at 4am but it went away after going to the bathroom but this afternoon it's not. It doesn't hurt to actually go so I didn't think it was a bladder infection. I'm 14 weeks + 3 days now so I wonder if this pressure is actually the baby growing and I am just feeling it more.

I might be crazy for saying this but I think it's the baby. I feel it too and it's the same pressure I felt towards the end of my other pregnancies only not as extreme.

Spoke to my midwife and the starry vision is fine because it went away. The wrist pain IS pregnancy related, and I am now to keep it wrapped.
