i dont like crock pot meals. i really try to. but everything is mushy and tastes the same. this is a real issue bc i made 40 freezer crock pot meals and i am like 7 meals in.

UO: I really don't understand why people are trying to do elective ultrasounds to find out the sex at 13-15 weeks. I can understand being too impatient to wait until birth but damn I wouldn't pay money for something that may turn out to be wrong. (See @TallMomma29 being told wrong at 15 weeks.)

if you want to spend money on an elective US at 13 weeks all the more power to you. but i cringe when people take that for face value and post on FB. bc i am all...well that is going to be hawkward when you have to back track.

I found out at 15 weeks ish only because we were in the ER and I asked.   I probably wouldn't have paid for that and refuse to put it on Facebook until my anatomy scan.

@JessDG If I was getting a US anyway I would probably ask if they could tell but I wouldn't put stock into it until the anatomy scan. I've just seen so many people essentially saying "I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MY ANATOMY SCAN, I HAVE TO KNOW NOW."

I've seen people go up to delivery being wrong about the sex (at least 2 women on my last BMB, actually).

@carries2018 i am crockpot meal lover. For someone as lazy as me the thought of not having to check on your meal every few minutes is just heavenly- Although its stored in an unreachable place and im too lazy to even try to get it out of there. 
@jessafishy def agree, either way im way too cheap to pay for something ill know *fo'sho* in a few weeks.

Yes! My UO : part of birthing classes is a one day class about nutrition. I think its pointless. Def skipping that one. Because, I already know what i should be eating and whats good for baby.... But, give me alllllll the food. 

Edited because e pregnancy brain gave me a break and I remembered my UO

i dunno if this is fffc or UO but it has crossed my mind more than once that Aaron Hernandez was murdered. but i watch too much tv.

@carries2018 Maybe someone who knew one of the two victims he was found not guilty of murdering? I also watch too much TV.

@carries2018 that never crossed my mind but, confession, I may have rolled my eyes when the story popped up on my yahoo feed yesterday morning.  I feel bad for their families, but no sympathy for criminals.

Although I will say I found it super odd since he was just aquitted of that double murder.  They did say he tried to jam a bunch of stuff up against the door so guards couldn't get in.  Either that's fabricated or he really did kill himself.

@carries2018  I can't help but think the same thing...seems like odd timing.  Either way, my heart goes out to his family, especially his kid.  This is probably not easy for her to understand.

call me heartless but i am not heartbroken about any of it...he has killed 3 people (that we know of). but still i feel like i need to go solve this case. i watch how to get away with murder so i am an expert on the matter.

@carries2018 if you're heartless, so am I.  I reserve my broken-hearted feelings for those who don't commit murder. Forget How to get Away with Murder, I used to watch CSI faithfully. SCIENCE.

oh yeah, don't feel bad for him either.  We all make choices and he made some pretty terrible ones that put him in the situation he was in.

^^This!!!!  My Step-mom texted me the other day:

SM: When do you find out what your having?

M: at the anatomy scan around 20 weeks

SM: (step-sisters) friends just found out and they are due the same time as you.

M: they probably paid to have an elective.

SM: I do remember her saying that.  So you could find out the gender now.

I think Twizzlers are gross. They taste like plastic.

I doubt this is a UO among us ladies, but it seems to be IRL. I'm a bit annoyed right now because a couple of the contractors and counter guys at the store I'm doing my counter day at right now were just discussing women who weightlift/Crossfit and how some of them are just "nasty" and "beasts."

One of the guys goes, "I can't be with a woman like that, she'd beat me up!" 

I asked him, if I were with a muscular guy would he automatically assume he'd beat me up? Cue awkward stammers and "oh I was just joking, just a joke." Ok. Yeah. Just a joke. Fuck you, on behalf of all muscular women, which I am not but would be lucky to be.

1) I used to love CSI until I had a kid. Now it brings me to tears because all I do is imagine DD in any of those situations. Having a kid ruined TV for me.

2) I'm Team Green and am only excited about the anatomy scan to be able to see a real baby on the screen...and my doctor scheduled me pretty early - 18 weeks on the dot. I feel like that's wasting it on someone who is dying to know if it's a boy or girl. haha

3) Crock pot meals save my life. But I rarely follow the recipes, so maybe that's why I like them so much. Pork, roast, mac & cheese, chicken, lasagna....my life. 

4) I believe in science and God. But not Scientology. 

The more I think about these, I think these are leaning more towards popular opinions than unpopular opinions....but alas. I'm hungry and awaiting for my lunch to get here. (Panera, not Arby's, I know you were all dying to know).

I hate when people use this as a reason why you shouldn't take offense to what they said. My BIL does this all the time, pisses me off.

My IRL BFF is/was a body builder.  She competes in the bikini section which are the hot mama's!  I'd die to look like her, I said she's my new personal trainer after LO arrives.    But I did tell her up front that I'd never allow her to get yucky looking.  This may be an UO but I think that the extreme body builders are just yucky and unnatural looking men and women.  Talking to her about it, she admits that it really becomes an unhealthy addiction.  The things she put her body through was insane.

@Uhlease13 I don't know what Red Vines are but I'm going to assume they taste better than Twizzlers. Because almost anything tastes better than Twizzlers.

@jessafishy I'm still tempted to get an elective ultrasound but the only thing holding me back is the cost. I just have to keep telling myself all the things I'd rather buy with the $40 and the urge goes away temporarily. No patience here. But I probably still will wait. It doesn't help though that DH is all for going NOW.

Trying real hard to come up with an UO...but the toddler is awake now. I'll be back.
