I feel like garbage. I am sick to my stomach, exhausted, moody, terrible boob pain...

3) When is your next appointment? 
Thursday to see the HB!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions 
I don't remember feeling this awful before. I feel like I must have, and somehow I forgot about it. This really sucks. 

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?
We all eat dinner at my dads. I have a huge extended family so it's sort of like Thanksgiving, only with lamb. Too bad I was too sick to enjoy it yesterday:/

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? meh... emotionally still rather numb in relation to the pregnancy, though I make time to mentally connect to the situation. Physically not feeling very pregnant. I have my moments when I'm like... yup! Legit pregnancy symptom (and the crushing fatigue at the end of the day is real). But for the most part, none of the debilitating MS I have had in the past... though in the past I think that hit sometime after week 6....we shall see.....

3) When is your next appointment? Wednesday, April 26

4) Rants/Raves/Questions nothing so far... I'm not going too crazy yet trying to figure out anything but the basics... no need to go all loco until things get farther along (hopefully)

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions? Just relax and eat a good meal

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? 
     Physically, great! Kinda queasy now and then, but I think it's psychosomatic  I do feel like I have a rock / pressure in my ute area. Emotionally, I am working really hard to ENJOY this pregnancy and not assume the worst. I don't want to waste this time with a clenched heart - it will hurt to have a loss no matter if I am happy right now or not!

3) When is your next appointment? 
     Wednesday morning - Beta #3

4) Rants/Raves/Questions 
     I am really a bitter post-IF lady, and I hope I'm not like this forever   I just don't think ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD CAN POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND HOW SPECIAL IT IS TO BE PREGNANT (not true, obv, but that's basically what my illogical/angry side thinks).

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?
     I am so bad at traditions! Maybe we'll start making some when we have kids?

@ameliabedelia-2 Good luck on Thursday! Your Easter sounds so fun, I'm sorry you couldn't enjoy the lamb. All for good reason though! Does your family know you're pregnant or did you have to secretly pick at your plate?
@dragonette505 I'm right there with you on the fatigue! I'm a night person and usually stay up until 1 or 2 am and lately I've been passing out around 10!
@afternoonduck I agree with your thoughts on wasting time!! I'm trying to enjoy it too and not let the worry take over. Good luck with your Wednesday appointment!!

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? My physical symptoms (back ache, flu-like symptoms) have mostly disappeared. I'm left with just lots of fatigue. Which leads to me being emotionally worried.

3) When is your next appointment? Thursday - ultrasound #1 at 5w5d

4) Rants/Raves/Questions I just moved to a new city and am trying to find a new OB. Stressful, stressful times. I want the best doctor, practice and hospital and am hopeful for someone knowledgeable about IVF.

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions? Easter isn't really a big deal to our families as adults but I love the traditions of egg hunting with the kiddos. I am so looking forward to hosting an egg hunt of my own someday. This year we were invited to our best friends' family's Easter brunch and it was wonderful.

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? I am so damn excited today! I wasn't sure if this would happen for us again and I know all to well we're not out of the woods yet but I am so happy to be here. A bit of nausea but it only helps make it more real.

3) When is your next appointment? Follow up beta wednesday

4) Rants/Raves/Questions See above! also I'm a bit nervous to have to tell work, but due to working with things that are risky during pregnancy I need to spill the beans ASAP.

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions? we don't have any specific traditions other than I get  DH an easter basket every year.  This year we did an easter egg hunt for the twins and it was amazing... I think we will make it a tradition.

@PennStateCait I feel you! with the twins we moved across the country at 10 weeks... I tried to do research but its hard if your not from the area. Thankfully we found an amazing MFM. Fx you find a great OB.

RE estimated 5-5.5 weeks at Fridays appt (this BFP was while I was waiting for my FET so dates are iffy)

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? 
Emotionally a wreck. I also had some spotting this afternoon so that doesn't help at all. I called the doctor and she said it's normal and to stay off my feet, no sex and don't lift anything heavy and just monitor for now but that she's not concerned because things looked great Friday. I'm trying to convince myself of that but I've been so anxious since I got BFP, it's becoming more difficult to manage.  Other than that, physically I'm ok - exhausted, nausea on and off and sporadic headaches 

3) When is your next appointment? 
Friday for HB check 

4) Rants/Raves/Questions 
See above for rant. Just really nervous and anxious and wish I had a way to see into the future to calm my damn nerves 

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?
we do an ADult Easter egg hunt which is a lot of fun- each chip in $10 bucks and a neutral party hides one egg on the property and whoever finds it, gets the pot. It's a lot of fun.  Other than that, just the normal easter basket from the EB, egg hunts for the kids and we dondue wastwr eggs the weekend before easter.

@marley629 Oh no! Spotting is SO normal (I know that's easier said). I wish it wasn't and I would totally be panicked if I were experiencing that too but I'm sure you're fine. I hope Friday comes quickly for you!

PennStateCait  My symptoms mostly went away as well (right around 5 weeks) and I did some googling and found lots of ladies whose symptoms subside between 5 and 6 or even 7 weeks. I know we cant help but want positive signs of continuing pregnancy (in the past my MS was debilitating so the fact I want it is cray), but until we know different, we are just ladies who are preggers but whose symptoms subsided...
wabash15  Sux you have to tell work so quickly (i'm trying to keep it a secret as long as possible...lol) but good you will be able to not deal with things that could harm either you or baby

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? OK though the nausea and fatigue are back full force.  Yesterday had some cramping during Easter service and started thinking that I didn't have any symptoms anymore, so glad to have them back (@PennStateCait I was in the same boat as you for a few days)

3) When is your next appointment? Thursday, hope to hear the HB!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions Ok, so my little rant is the "Advice for FTM group posts" - but more like advice...don't worry as much about labor and the ute massage (it sucked but I totally forgot about it like 15 minutes later) - worry more about the 6 months after with your LO!  First time parenting is HARD and you need help.

My MIL comes in to town every year.  She is crazy, but she loves DD...

4 weeks, 6 days

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? 
Pregnancy symptoms abound. Nausea, round ligament pain, mild crampy fullness, sore boobs, lots of fatigue. 

Emotionally I am all over the place and also really anxious. Anytime my symptoms let up I get panicked something is wrong, it doesn't feel real that it actually worked after so long of trying. 

3) When is your next appointment? 
Next Tuesday, I get to see my gyno. It is my first time seeing him since finding out I was pregnant and I am super impatient for it to get here. 

4) Rants/Raves/Questions 
I mostly would just like to be through the first trimester and be able to relax a bit more I am ridiculously anxious more so than with my first. 

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?
Just the good ol' egg hunt with the family.

@ameliabedelia-2 I’m so jealous you get to hear the HB! Sorry you couldn’t enjoy the lamb, hopefully the food aversions don’t last the entire time.
@dragonette505 I understand completely what you mean about feeling numb, with very little true pregnancy symptoms it’s hard to believe that it’s real.

@afternoonduck I’m sorry to hear your bitter, but I get it. I’m kind of the same but more in a “you can’t possibly understand what I went through to get here” way.

@PennStateCait FX you find an amazing doctor fast! I know how stressful that can be, and hope that you don’t have to spend too much time working and worrying about it.

@wabash15 Your excitement, even through text, is palpable! That’s so exciting!

@baevn I’m sorry you’re feeling so anxious. Hopefully after you see the doc you can get some reassurance.

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? All over the map. Somedays I'm jumping up and down I'm so excited, but moments later a wave of fear hits and I'm hit with all the things I don't know. I spent so much time and energy researching and preparing just to get pregnant, but now that I'm hear I am completely out of my depth. 

3) When is your next appointment? Not until next Wednesday. First US with my RE. 

4) Rants/Raves/Questions The PIO shots are really starting to be a pain in the bum, literally. I've had some allergic reactions, very minor, but very itchy on my back. Luckily benadryl helps, but I cannot wait to be done with those. 

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions? DH and I aren't really very religious, so Easter is more of an excuse to just see family and eat food. This year we also added in a few naps. :-)

baevn     It is somewhat surreal after working so long just to GET pregnant to finally BE pregnant. It just doesn't make sense fully! lol
kmallery08      we are the same gestational stage (5+6) So cool! I agree that fear is like the biggest obstacle right now. I've been trying to just BE every day... Like yesterday I felt weird selecting a prenatal yoga vid from my app...like.... still so doubtful, you know? But I did it and it felt affirming in a way. Yes I'm still afraid, but trying very much to live in the moment and not in my future fears. So hard, tho

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally?      This morning I woke up really dizzy and nauseous, some breast pain and headaches but mostly good physically. I am really nervous for tomorrow's ultrasound. 

3) When is your next appointment?   Tomorrow. It's a viability scan.....

4) Rants/Raves/Questions.     the PIO injections are now getting to be bothersome as my muscles are pretty sore from 1.5 months of them getting stabbed. And my estradiol patches are leaving terrible chemical burns that itch like crazy.

5) GTKY: Its a bit late but do you have any favorite easter/passover/spring traditions?   my husband is Indian and I am atheist, so we don't celebrate Passover or Easter. But, I do have a tradition of eating way too many Cadbury eggs every year!

2) How are you feeling physically and emotionally? Fine today, but it changes daily, hourly....nausea is my worst symptom right now. Haven't vomited yet, but felt close several times. Sea bands definitely seem to help. 

3) When is your next appointment? Next Tuesday for first US

4) Rants/Raves/Questions still can't believe we have to wait so long for first us!

Beta came back at 1307. I'm a little disappointed: that makes the doubling time 50 hours. Not inspiring. Now I have to wait until next Friday (6+1) for our first U/S.

@afternoonduck I wouldn't stress too much, its a solid number and its ideal if it doubles in 48hrs 50 hrs is not far off. Just keep in mind that 6+1 is early to see a HB. hugs and keep reminding yourself today I am pregnant

I'm currently 6 weeks 5 days. Heard the heartbeat last Friday,  so exciting I started crying at the RE.
 Anyone else get slightly dizzy when standing up?  Other than that I really have no symptoms.

@sunkissed4984, I get dizzy from my progesterone supplements, but that has been since before my BFP. Congrats on the heartbeat! I am anxiously waiting and hoping to hear ours...

Yes @sunkissed4984 I just started getting dizzy in the last few days.  I'm also on progesterone didn't know that was a side effect (just another fun one)...

had my ultrasound this morning. No heartbeat but the embryo doubled in size. My RE thinks it may be a blighted ovum but he is so unsure because of the growth. He wants to do another ultrasound next tuesday and if still no heartbeat, then ***TW, we will get a D&C done. We want to send the tissue for chromosome analysis and since I work in Pathology, I know the best way to get adequate tissue is to do a D&C. Plus, I want to just be done with it since it could take weeks for it to pass on its own. 

I am mentally ok because I deal with this stuff at work everyday but DH is still upset. He even told me that he wouldn't be able to be there for the D&C because he is going to be in Denver for a conference....I had to talk him down and tell him that was not an option....he has to be there for me. Conference be damned! End TW***

I will linger around for the next week in the 5% chance we hear a heartbeat next week but I will probably make my way back to the IF board soon. Even though I will prob not be in this month club much longer, I will definitely lurk and keep track of everyones progress! I am so excited for everyone else and hope I get to someday follow soon!
