Hello. I’m from Missouri where I live with my DH and my adorable dog. I got my BFP on 11 dpo, so I’ve known I was KU for a little while. No surprises here! I have PCOS, so I WAS surprised to conceive without any major help (thank you Metformin). This will be our first baby.
I love to sew and make things. I have a garden where I grow vegetables that I don’t eat. I will be finishing graduate school in a couple of weeks, which will free up my time considerably. I have tons of fandoms, and I love sci fi and fantasy.
I’m having a lot of feelings right now. Mostly I’m terrified of mc, and as of the last few days, I’m miserable with stomach issues and intense anxiety. I’m feeling a lot of guilt for not being super happy and glowing and excited. I’m mostly just scared and miserable. Google has not been my friend the last couple of weeks.
edit- forgot my fandoms

HI! I'm Tamara and I'm from Northern California. I'm married since 2013 and have a redheaded daughter named Isla. This will be our second kiddo with a due date of 12/10 I estimate, but stupid Kaiser won't even consider an appointment until at least 8 weeks so I'll find out then.
My daughter is turning 3 on April 24th and I'm extremely close with my A14 ladies from TB. We do a yearly meet up (even though this year I'll be the pregnant lady in Napa while everyone else has fun) and I absolutely adore them, so I'm hoping this board will be much of the same! We just went to a birthday party yesterday of someone from my A14 board.
I coach high school cheerleading, both sideline and competitive so it'll be interested to see how I work this out in the middle of our season. I also quilt and do a lot of crafting, and since I was just laid off from my government job after cuts I'm really trying to see if I can get some of that off the ground in order to stay home with this baby and not have to go back to full-time work.
Hello everybody! My name is Stacey and I'm 28. I got my BFP on April 3. Two dark lines 5 days before my missed period. So I think I'm 4 weeks pregnant today.
I have a 2.5 year old son and I'm super close to the moms in his birth club still today!
My EDD is 12/15, but I still need to call my OB to set up an appointment.
I'm Dana from Ontario Canada. DH and I got our BFP after trying for about 6 months. I was on BC for quite awhile so I think my body was trying to sort things out. We have an cat who who is pretty much a dog and this is our first baby!
Hi! My name is Hallie and I'm 21 years old. First OB appt is April 27th. Expecting our first child December 3rd! Super excited and super nervous to be a first time mom so if anyone has any tips please feel free to share! So excited to grow with everyone!
Hi! My name is Amanda. I am pansexual and polyamorous. Please feel free to ask questions! I have two partners, my DH, with whom I've been for ~5.5 years, and my GF, with whom I've been for ~1 year. GF is very maternal, and even though she's a nanny, she doesn't yet have any children of her own. She has been incredibly supportive throughout my TTC journey and surprised me by offering to be my doula! I got my BFP the same day DH had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. He was still a little out of it when I showed him the test and shouted "I told you I put a baby in you!"
I'm a SAHM and own a very small business through which I sell handmade knit and crochet items. I have a BA in English and psychology from Duke.
I have a son who turned 2 in December, and his birth story is a crazy one. He was due 1/2015 but ended up coming out 12/2014 at 36+4 on our way home from Christmas vacation. My water broke while we were at my ILs' house, and we tried to make it back home because our insurance wouldn't cover any out-of-network prenatal/delivery care after 35 weeks. We made it about halfway home before I started freaking out, and DS was born in Bel Air, MD. He couldn't breathe on his own, so I had to watch a team of healthcare professionals hover over him while the OB stitched up my tear without realizing that my epidural had worn off ... the epidural I had sworn I would never get, not because I was against it (I wanted a natural birth, but I was open to pain management) but because the idea of it scared the crud out of me. They eventually wheeled him out of the room, and DH went with him. DS had a pneumothorax and needed needle aspiration. The hospital we were at didn't have the means to do it, so they had to call in an ambulatory NICU team to do the procedure and transfer him to a hospital with the facilities he needed. Because we were out-of-network, they couldn't authorize a transfer for me, and so I was released about 4 (or was it 7?) hours after giving birth. On our way to Baltimore, we stopped at Target so I could get a breast pump. I saw a woman wearing a newborn and we chatted for a moment. She asked when I had my son and was aghast at my response. Once we got to Baltimore DS had stabilized and was breathing on his own. Once that was resolved, he was a bit more jaundiced than they liked, so they kept him for treatment. Once that was resolved, his oxygen levels were dropping when he ate (because he was a clumsy eater; he was fine with BM in a bottle). Once that was resolved, he failed his car seat test, and we had to buy him a new one. Finally, after 8 days, we were able to take him home. He nursed for just over my two-year goal!
I have been diagnosed with several mental health disorders and take medication for some of them. I am finally on a good combination, and I feel "normal" for the first time in years! (Although, after reading about my personal life, I'm sure many of you are calling that into question!) I can't function without medication, so I will be staying on my regimen for my pregnancy. I'd love to start a weekly mental health check-in, if there isn't one already.
This cycle was my third since having my Nexplanon removed 12/14/2016. My first two cycles were both CPs. I never got anything more than a squinter with those, whereas this time I got a true BFP, no questions asked. The other ones didn't feel "right," but this one does. I've already nicknamed it "the wee beb."
That about does it for me! I can't wait to get to know everyone!
@kvacmak You mentioned your EDD is your DH's birthday. My DH and his grandfather share the same birthday, and my DS was due within a few weeks of that date! We're very happy to have conceived this cycle because DH wants to have a "birthday cluster" in December and January.
@drablnd I was briefly a member of the 11/2017 board, as well.
@vvitchhazel I love the book club idea! I read the post earlier and am going to attempt to jump in soon!
@carly434 I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story and say that I'm happy you're here!
@Bailey1823A I'm in VA, too! I've been here a little over a year and have yet to make any friends, haha!
@stillclever17 Please don't feel like there's only one way to respond to a BFP. With DS, I conceived on the first try, and by a week after O, I had decided that I wasn't ready yet. When I got my BFP with him, I was utterly terrified. Anxiety is completely normal! I've had a good amount of anxiety, and if you'd like, I'd love to swap management ideas.
@danacreate My cat is basically a dog, too! She does tricks (she'll walk through a hoop for a treat ... still working on the jumping) and plays fetch spontaneously (but only with one of the two stuffed animals she's claimed as her own).
Good morning! My name is Sara, I'm a 33 year old mother of 2. A 3.5 yo son and a 2 yo daughter. My first pregnancy ended in a mc, which I think was likely due to low progesterone (which I had with the next two pregnancies.) I never take anything for granted, so I am cautiously optimistic that I will be having my third in December! Due date should be around Dec 18 (my birthday is the 17!)
I am a nurse, and my hobbies include running (finished my first marathon in February!), reading, sewing, and babywearing. I joined the O13 bump group after all the babies were born, and was participating in the A15 group when all the drama and banning started. I didn't get banned, but left the bump for a while and don't remember all my old login info, so new profile! But not a newbie
Hello! My name is Tesha and I'm from Utah. I am 25 and DH is 27, we've been married since 2012. DS is 10 months so we're freaking out a little bit but so excited for our littles to be so close in age.
BFP April 1 EDD December 2
This baby is a little earlier than we were planning so we are surprised but also completely thrilled.
My DS was 10 months when we found out about our second! (She was born when we had originally planned to start trying!) I was panicking at first because I already *had* a baby! But DS grew so much during my pregnancy, and by the time DD was born, the age gap was perfect. They love each other so much and have so much fun together. It will be awesome, momma! ❤️
Hello Ladies! This is my first time being pregnant. I live in Weston, Fl with my DH. We started trying last month and God heard our prayers. Being new to all of this is a little nerve wrecking for me. When i don't feel symptoms, i can't help but to worry a little. Hopefully with this group we can all support and provide a little peace of mind to each other.
Wishing us all a happy, healthy and worry-free 9 months!

Hello hello. Glad to be here, hope I get to hang around for a while. I was very involved in my last BMB (March 16) and hope to create some similar connections here as well.
EDD based on conception date is 12/19.
******TW - I didn't have a LMP as I had a MC in March. I am supposed to have a RPL panel on 4/21 but apparently my body had other plans. I have an appointment tomorrow to get some blood work done to check various levels. This is my 7th pregnancy. I have one little one, he just turned one in March. Since he took a while to bring home we started TTC in August. Two MCs later and here we are again. End TW****************
Hi everyone. I'm Jaci, and this is my second child. My oldest turns one in one week. This baby is a little bit of a surprise. Estimated due date: Dec. 9. We'll see! Here's hoping for a smooth pregnancy and easier delivery. Nice to meet you all!
Hi everyone my name is Stacy and this will be baby #1. We had a miscarriage in 2015 at 8 weeks. Had a fibroid removal in January and here we are. Due date Christmas day .
@Knottie1426353162 Hello & Welcome! Congrats on your BFP! You might want to go back to theknot.com and change your username to make it something more unique to make it easier for us to identify you and tag you in posts!
Hi! I'm Danielle. I just got my BFP at work today. Haha. I came off BC this month in order to start trying in June. Surprise!!!!! I'm like 2 seconds pregnant. Haha. It's a shock. We lost one baby in November 2014. And it took us a year to get pregnant against. I had my precious rainbow baby in July 2015. This is my 2nd. I was very involved and active on August 2015 board and we are now close internet friends. I'm excited to be here with you moms!
It took me forever to remember how to change my SN. Previously saltylovely, hopefully itll update to rainbowdashh soon (thanks 4.5 year old for the suggestion). Figured I'd change it while it's still early.
@dkizz82 I was active on aug 15 too although dd2 was born in sept cause she was late! Are you on the Facebook group for august 15? It nice to have fellow mommas due around the same time
Hi Everyone! I got my BFP yesterday (April 10) and my tentative due date is December 16th. This is coming off of a chemical pregnancy though so that will probably change after our first u/s. Praying for our 3rd sticky baby that will join DS1 (3yrs) and DS2 (1.5yrs). *TW* I've gone through 5 losses altogether, so this is pregnancy #8! I'm looking forward to a Christmas Baby.
Hello, I'm a STM and was mostly a lurker on the F16 board. Love hearing about others and contributing when I can, now that it's round two I hope to speak up more. EDD is Dec 15, my DD was born 2/22/16. @Jellybelly119 we had a very similar timeline! I'm 28 and have been married 8 years. I live in Wyoming and stay home after teaching for 5 years. Looking forward to hearing more and sharing with all of you!
@eherm3 it is so hard to catch symptoms in the first few weeks you know, and if you're like me you'll be questioning feelings and symptoms all 10 months. For me the first few weeks both times all I've had is pulling/pinching sensations in my lower abdomen. Wishing you the best! @mamabear0528my children will be 22 months apart, so I look forward to seeing how close the siblings will be! Glad to hear it's been good for you @NME44
@jstud That's reassuring! i had a few things going on the first 2 weeks and now everything has been pretty quiet with my symptoms. except for my sleep, i can't sleep the full night. Thank you!

Hello Everyone, My name is Kimmy. I received my BFP on March 31. My EDD is December 3. I have been in and out of the doctor for the past two weeks due to constant spotting. I had three blood tests last week and a US. Blood tests were all good and my levels were rising as they should. U/S only showed the gestational sac, but no yolk sac. Could be because it was too early. I have two more tests this week and another U/S this Friday. Praying I get to continue to journey with all you December 2017 mama's! I'll keep you posted

Hello all my name is Telesa and I am 38 years old. I just found out I am pregnant on 04/07... I have a 13 month old daughter whom we tried to concieve for 25 months following a late 1st trimester loss... We expected we would have to try for a good while again for a sibling for her, but to our amazement it only took 3 cycles with this new bub... We are beyond excited. Our other children from previous marriages are all older in their early and late teens... We both always wanted a large family and finally feel like we are complete... My EDD is December 20th which is 3 days before my husbands Birthday... No better gift in the world that we can think of, than a new baby to complete our tribe
Congrats to everyone and I am very excited to be a part of this amazing group of women! My name is Tonia and I'm 33 years old! Married 5 years and we live on the Jersey Shore! It is absolutely beautiful out today!

On March 10,2017 we had our very first IUI, and we're successful ****TW we had two losses(blighted ovum MC) in 2016 end TW **** DH and I are just over the moon because we got to see the heartbeat for the very first time yesterday and to see the little babe actually growing in the sac! I was released yesterday from the fertility specialist and am now scheduled to see my obgyn on April 19th! Can't wait to see how much lil babe has grown!
I am a business owner and partime hairstylist ( been doing hair since high school, don't think I'll ever give it up!) hehe. My husband and I have two doggies together Jack and Emma , they both turn 10 this year and we've had them since we started dating, so they have been our babies for a long time! Looking forward to getting to know all of you! Happy Spring!
My name is Brittney, I'm 24, I live in Canada. My husband, Jeff, and I have been together for 8.5 years.
I got my BFP yesterday, and my EDD is December 6th!
We have struggled with infertility for the past 4 years after being told my husband couldn't father children of his own.
We used a sperm donor to conceive our DD, and she will be 1 at the end of may!
We were fully prepared to use a sperm donor again when it came time to conceive our second child, but we were able to conceive naturally on our own and we are SO incredibly excited! We still can't believe this is happening!
Thanks @Jellybelly119 it is AMAZING out! Perfect weather for me to be out there at the beach hunting for driftwood(for my business) but my butt is on the couch currently because nausea has become my new best friend today lol. Has not left my side! Drinking a veggie/fruit smoothy now and starting to feel better!
@hscott95 it is perfect! Would love it if it would stay just like this all summer, right?! Hoping this nausea passes alittle so I can get outside! This whole week is supposed to be the best
Hi all! I actually can not believe I am back here so soon posting. This is my second pregnancy and I had a positive test yesterday morning and conceived on my birthday March 25. I know this for a fact, because with 9 month old twin boys at home (yes you read that right) we don't DTD very often anymore! We weren't on anything and I was tracking and thought we were past ovulation and I must of ovulated later this time, because this was not expected. EDD is December 15/16 according to the due date calculator! We wanted them close together, but it took a year and a half with the twins to conceive, so this is definitely a shock! I'm more than a little freaked out with the thought of having 3 under 2. I work a full time job as an Academic Advisor and SO owns a business. Our identical twin boys were born at 31 weeks and spent 35 days in the nicu last summer, so we've had quite the adventure. They are doing awesome now and I was very active in our August 16 bump group (even though they were born in June). My first doctor appointment to do blood work isn't until May 6 and I'm pushing for a dating ultrasound at my May 26 appt, just to rule out twins. I need to know sooner than 20 weeks if it is again!!
It's nice to meet you all, I wish you all successful pregnancies!
Also @vvitchhazel I also live in central WI! Small world. In my other bump group, there were a lot of us from WI!

@hscott95 it is perfect! Would love it if it would stay just like this all summer, right?! Hoping this nausea passes alittle so I can get outside! This whole week is supposed to be the best
