I'm now 18+4. My skin is rough... breaking out more than usual on my face and back I'm so sore from cleaning yesterday. My back is hurting today. I'm noticing that I'm getting out of breath more too. Going up the steps is getting more difficult. I need to go on more walks to build up that stamina!
Back pain and these very strange stomach spasms. Usually it is with sudden movements or when I sit down or get up quickly. My acne is starting to finally chill out a little bit. Lovely fatigue as well.
15+1 Still nauseous some evenings but it is no longer every evening. Sleep is a foreign subject now. I can't get comfortable on my sides and end up on my back or belly, causing me to wake up and move.
More of the same for me. I was actually able to eat a ton this weekend, but felt miserable afterwards.
Something new is leg cramps. And weird stretching/cramping along the right side of my stomach. I can tell I am getting so much bigger because I really can't sleep without a pillow under me anymore.
I am still a hot mess of HG issues and food aversions. My Son weighs a little over 30 pounds and has been insisting on being carried a lot lately ( but not in a carrier) which is causing some wicked lower back pain, I need to find a chiro here and get started on adjustments before it gets too far out wack. Ive also entered the insomnia stage *womp womp*
15+1 today! Nausea is mostly starting to wind down I think! I had 3 good days, followed by 1 super crappy day, but today is good so far! I'm hopeful this, however.. is not stopping the insane fatigue. Don't even care. I would much rather deal with tired. Finding out little one is a sweet baby boy has actually helped very much with the bonding between us! Of course I've loved him ever since I knew about him, but starting to form a picture in my head of his sweet little face is amazing. I can feel him moving a lot too! He's a doodlebug. This really makes it so the morning sickness isn't so annoying. It's an amazing progression!
-my full appetite seems to back, with just a few remaining aversions. -heartburn, drymouth, worsened allergies. The great trifecta of annoyance. -lower back pain -lots of stretching and abdominal muscle soreness -mentioned this yesterday, but instead of a linea nigra, my body decided to turn the skin around my belly button two shades darker. It looks so weird.
I feel like lower back pain is going to be a constant problem for everyone.. does anyone have any decent remedies? I never found one with my last pregnancy, and would love to hear!
17+3 -DARK nipples. Still painful to even graze. -HEARTBURN. Ugh. Immediately after meals. - +1 on the abdominal tightness and stretching and soreness @mrs_tacos -Constipation still. -More consistent flutters and kicks from baby I laid down after drinking milk and used DHs stethoscope, felt/heard baby kick it a few times! - @hollygolightly09 also out of breath easy -Occasional heart palpitations still -The pregnancy rash seems to be fading away thank goodness -lower back and hip pain. Sometimes it feels like things are *grinding together in that whole area. It sucks. I need to see my chiro.
edited because wtf... autocorrect decided I meant "bringing" instead of grinding.
@beccam1230 Sitting on a heating pad helps me some. I'm going to a chiropractor who specializes in pregnancy, which helps in the few days that follow. I'm going to try a prenatal massage next week too. Some days the back pain is so bad it hurts to walk, so I'm hoping to find a combination of things that works.
@wyomama0427 I've gotten so used to the heart palpitations and getting out of breath, I almost forgot they were symptoms! I just got really happy remembering they won't last forever, haha!
@mrs_tacos hooray! Sometimes it really does seem like we'll be feeling like this forever lol. One of my least favorite symptoms was towards the end with DS I felt like I had to pee ALLLLLL the time because his giant head was smooshing my bladder, and peeing was just uncomfortable and brought no relief lol. I was so happy when I could pee like a normal person again!
@mrs_tacos a heating pad is a great idea, I use one for headaches. I'm definitely going to try that. I keep wanting to get a prenatal massage! I'm going to have to try that too. Thanks!! I really hope those all help you, it's awful when walking is painful
17+3 now. My back pain tapered off last week, but left me with excruciating left hip and pubic bone pain. I hobble for about a minute after I have been sitting for a while. I remember this with DS, but it was at the end of the pregnancy! I'm hoping it will ease up soon.
I helped DH with lots of yard work yesterday, and the previously mentioned hip/ bone pain was minimal. Until the end of the day, and I almost had to have DH help me out of a chair. Tylenol helped, but yeesh.
On the plus side, the nausea is almost gone!!!!!!!!!!!! <-- Deserves about 800 exclamation points. I'm still gagging on my tooth brush and prenatals, but it's a win in my book. No one deserves nausea for almost 4 months straight. End of story. Even more plus side, I'm feeling little bumps more often now. A lot more easy to recognize the second time around.
@beccam1230 you are not suppose to use a hating pad on your lower back or belly. Also, do you work out? Try daily set of air squats and stretching or a yoga class!

My OB said a heating pad for a short time is okay as long as it's not on your uterus. You might check with your doctor before using one.
My energy level is almost back to normal which is amazing.
So much heartburn and acid reflux
My boobs are still growing. Realized today that I should not wear my nude strapless bra anymore because it no longer contains the important bits adequately
I get out of breath doing even the smallest things
@MrsJessS I realized the same thing about one of my bras when I came home, took off my shirt, and both nipples were popping out. I was like okay, time to retire this bra for now. lol

My doctor said a low to medium heat heating pad that doesn't come into contact with your stomach or front pelvic region is fine. The concern is raising your core temperature, which short term use of a medium heat heating pad should not do.
I feel like lower back pain is going to be a constant problem for everyone.. does anyone have any decent remedies? I never found one with my last pregnancy, and would love to hear!
I had lower back pain with my last pregnancy and again with this pregnancy. I practice yoga twice weekly and I have had one prenatal massage. So far, neither have helped. Yoga actually aggravates my back if I'm overdoing it or not listening to my body. Last pregnancy what really helped was floating in the pool. The water eliminated the pressure on my spine. I can't wait until it warms up enough here to take advantage of our pool again.
I am 15+4 today. I'm experiencing lower back pain which seems to be exercerbated by sitting at a desk most of the day. And today, just in time for a staff meeting I was hit hard with a headache.
I've had period-like cramps all day today. I haven't had this since like 8 weeks. Is this OK? I'm 15+5
I told my doctor I was having this and she says it's totally normal, it's the stretching and growing of the uterus. If It gets really bad though I'd call your care provider!

I second what wyo said, just wanted to add that often when I have cramps my first go to is to drink water to make sure I'm not dehydrated, and they usually go away after I drink a few glasses (not chugging them, but sipping regularly over an hour or so). It's worth a try anyway!
@wyomama0427@mrs_tacos Thanks ladies. I thought it might be a new "growing pain" but was not sure. I was used to the stabby ute feelings of the first tri! It's not severe or acute. It is more of a consistent, heavy, achy feeling. I'll monitor, drink water, and call Dr. if anything changes.

I feel that way almost every night when I'm trying to sleep... drives me crazy. Everything I read says it's normal, though, and baby girl was moving away in there a week and a half ago.

Yessss it's the heavy dull ache, I used to feel like that right before I'd start AF. Yuck!
@JustBored10 I actually wasn't aware of not being able to use a heating pad on my lower back! It makes sense though. I'll see what my doctor recommends when I go in for my appointment next week. I actually totally had the intention of working out during this pregnancy! But when I got so sick, I kinda tossed that plan to the side! I do want to start again when I'm totally out of morning sickness, so I will definitely try yoga. I used to do it a lot before this pregnancy and it typically helped my lower back pain. But I'll have to see how it helps
Ugh... I am so nauseated today. I haven't felt this sick in a couple of weeks. A girl I work with is out today with a stomach virus, so now I'm wondering if the morning sickness thought it would be fun to come back, or if I'm actually sick.
@HollyGolightly09 I hope you don't have a stomach virus! We don't need anything else making us sick.
I also felt terribly nauseous yesterday. MS had started to only be at night or only when I got hungry, but yesterday it was around all day again and got really really bad at night. I thought I was moments away from getting throwing up, but I took b6 and unisom and fell asleep. Feeling much better today. I wish MS would go away for good. So tired of being nauseous.
14 Weeks 6 Days *Heartburn (like wake ya up in the middle of the night) *Headaches and neck pain (also wake me up in the middle of the night)...last night I was up 3 times and the headache got so bad I ended up puking. *Back pain - Desperate to get into the chiropractor. *Sinus pain and lots of mucus *Food aversions *Only really able to eat bland food-no spicy

@LosAngelesMama I know... the thought of a stomach virus almost made me cry. Luckily, it has passed, so I'm guessing morning sickness just loves me too much to completely leave me alone.
I feel like I'm growing today. My belly feels really heavy against my bladder, my ribs and back are aching, stretching in my abdomen, and my boobs ache. I weight a pound more than I did three days ago, so I must be putting it somewhere.
