Good luck @Wearmi1. I had several visits to L&D due to ptl with ds. I know there must be a lot going through your head right now. Did they give you procardia or terbutaline yet? I was at 1 min apart at 26 weeks or so and they were able to stop it. I made it to 39 weeks. There's a lot they can do to help you! Wishing you the best.

I had a follow up ultrasound to check on the placement of my placenta this morning and now little girl is breech! So no matter what, I will definitely get another peak at her before delivery to look at her position. No wonder the movement has felt different lately

@meg2704 My little guy has done the transverse / breech to head down in a ball to back to breech dance party in the last two weeks (as seen on u/s). I'm 28 weeks and my ob didn't seem too concerned about it - from what I've read, sounds like they can still move pretty easily until at least 34 weeks. It is sort of weird to try to follow the kicks, however!

Ugh ladies what a night.  I'm gonna be here at least through Saturday night.  I have to have 2 rounds of steroids to help little ones lungs develop just in case she comes early.  I've been in magnesium sulfate all night.   The magnesium makes me super fuzzy in my head.  I had two shots tribuline or something like that.  But my hospital has room service!  Blueberry pancakes are on the way!

ETA: Just saw we posted about the same time. Glad things have settled a little and they are taking precautions. Also those room service blueberry pancakes sound delicious - enjoy!

My cystoscopy went well. No abnormal findings (stones, tumors, etc). I got to watch the monitor and it was pretty clear that baby is directly on my bladder pushing it in. So the doc is still assuming baby is causing inflammation and the bleeding. So probably the best outcome of the test. We can't do anything else until after delivery.

Ok can someone describe what a contraction feels like?  Even reading online, I feel lost about what to feel for.

Braxton hicks or the real deal? To me, BH feels like a tightening all around my stomach. It feels hard and baby doesn't move while I'm having one. It's not really painful.

For me, bad period cramps but waaaay more pressure.

I'm wondering the same thing. My dr told me to look out for them but I have no clue what I'm looking for. Today I've been having pelvic pains that shoot up to my belly. They made me slow down while I was walking

Despite this being my fifth pregnancy, I was unclear what they felt like until this pregnancy.  Actual contractions to me feel like period cramps that aren't constant, like they come in waves. The contractions I've had also seem to wrap around to my back.

Braxton Hicks feel tight but not painful but can take your breath away. And your belly gets hard. The only time I had contractions was when I was full blown labor but they feel like waves. There is a beginning, a peak, and then a tapering. They are not limited to the front of your body but wrap around the back. For me they were intense but I never had early labor but Ive been told early labor feels like period cramps.

I had preterm labor issues for 14 weeks last pregnancy. They don't feel like period cramps at all to me. It's so different for everyone!
