I don't have any plans this weekend yet. This morning, however, I did eat "lunch" for breakfast just so I wouldn't feel weird about having cookies afterwards. So, we're off to a good start here.
Been emotional so I decided to go to work with my mom and get a pedicure while she's working. H does a good job with the foot massage but sometimes I need a little more. He's afraid to push to hard lol too cute.
Tomorrow we we are moving some of my parents stuff to their new place and we may go do something fun to celebrate H's birthday (it was the 28th). Oh, and look for apartments or houses to rent lol exciting times here!

DD and I are just chillling today. We've been attacked by pollen. I hate allergies. Tomorrow we are going to meet my BFF and her new boyfriend (which see says may be "the one!") at California Pizza Kitchen. I know the whole point is to meet her BF but I am overly excited for CPK!
@BabyMC517 - I'm sorry the house didn't pan out. I hope you find something that works for you guys easily.
DH is going out of town this morning just until tomorrow and I am already dreading it. Two kids at 7 months pregnant is hard, yo!
On a positive note, we went on a hospital tour of the hospital where I delivered DD and it was a completely different experience than last week's tour so we are going back to them. It's a little bit farther away (35-45 min depending on traffic vs 15-20 min) but I walked away feeling so much better about the place. Plus we were told that we can pre-register at both so I will probably do that just to be safe since this is baby #3 and we don't know how fast things might happen.

Lazier weekend for us this weekend. Today is cleaning the house and a few errands...maybe dinner out tonight?!:) tomorrow DD has "set painting" for her musical at school and a Girl Scout cookie booth (which I am cookie mom for). DH will have the boys tomorrow and am sure they will go manage to find something to do! Happy weekend all!!!
DH is leaving for a work trip (again) today. Tomorrow we have "brunch" plans (brunch with toddlers means 9 am) and I'm super excited to try this new place. Breakfast sandwiches are my jam this pregnancy and I often eat two in one day. Then packing my DD's and my trip to North Carolina next week for a scouting mission for possible relocation.
My dad is here from out of state so he did some storage work for me yesterday and hung curtains lol. DH has been in trial (so super busy) but today we're all taking DD to the LA Zoo and it happens to be Moana day! Then we will drive to have dinner by the beach!
Lots of fun plans this weekend for you ladies! DH birthday is this weekend. We did presents and carry out last night, gonna see an IMAX this afternoon about the national parks (that's right we are soooo cool), and going to a basketball game tonight. This large-and-in-charge lady is gonna be tried! Also I made a strawberry cake and we are eating that for practically every meal. My glucose tolerance test is Monday so we gotta get it all in now. We also made a will and decided on a guardian for LO this morning. So excited to have finally agreed upon that. Now all we need is a child care plan and we will be set!
We started DD swim lessons today. She is quite the diva and was not happy about water in her face. We are definetlu in the threenage stage. We kind of expected this, but I think it will be good for her to tough it out. So fingers crossed the next 6 weeks goes better then this morning.
Other than that it's going to be a lazy weekend. I think I hurt myself moving something on Thursday, my back and hips are really hurting a lot more then before. Hoping some rest will help.
@BeachMommy2B DS was the same way when we did swim lessons this summer. When we started, you'd think we were killing him every time he got a little water in his face. By the end, he was much more comfortable so I think it was worth it.
DH is fiiiinally finishing up painting the nursery today and our neighbors are taking DS to a birthday party, so I have a few hours by myself to be productive. Or be extremely lazy. I haven't decided yet.
@BeachMommy2B Ohhh threenagers. Definitely the most exhausting stage. I'm about to enter those depths of hell with DD2. Although DD1 is now 5 and quite sassy, I still give 3 as the hardest stage hands-down.

DH is filling in as director at another camp this weekend, but the guests are really self-sufficient so we're just hanging out in the cottage with our dog. It's kind of nice to wake up and not be able to do anything - there's no laundry to do, nothing to clean. It's forcing me to have a lazy Saturday.

I woke up with flu symptoms. Only thing missing is the fever. Debating calling my doctor, or just going in to be checked. Spent 3 hours in the ER with my DH last night. He has a nasty case of bronchitis that is borderline pneumonia. So we are having a very lazy day.
Lazy weekend for me. Working on some etsy orders & cleaning the house. It is HOPEFULLY the last cold weekend of the year for us, back down to the teens up here, but it is looking promising on the 10 day forecast. Our crib also arrived via mail, it was a gift from family on my side, but they didn't want to/couldn't lug it to the shower so they had it sent here!
Today I'm also 28 weeks- so officially the final stretch. It is insane how quickly it is all wrapping up!

Hahahaha. That sounds like a typical conversation in our house.
As I was telling DD1 something the other day, she literally responded with "blabbity blah blah blah" Are you serious child?!

Hope you feel better! Can you get to an urgent care? They can swab you and tell you if you have the flu. They can give you tamaflu if it hasn't been over 48 hours!

Oh no!! Feel better.
If you don't have a fever I would probably just call to check. My DD tested positive for influenza A... I came down with everything but the fever and they wouldn't even test me, because the OB didn't want to give tamiflu anyways. Other OBs may be different. I happened to have my normal appt that week and he told me to treat it like a cold and just to call him if I had a fever over 101 that wouldn't break with Tylenol
Going to our first birthing class today! DH loves being outside on weekends so he's doing a great job being supportive and not complaining about going to the class He also stepped up the game and surprised me with a prenatal massage tomorrow! I can't wait!! My Kinder class has been incubating eggs in hopes of hatching chicks. It's been super fun, but a lot of extra work so I'm hoping I did everything right. They should be hatching tomorrow so I'll pop by school to check them out after the massage. Very excited!

I was thinking the same thing. Mine will be 3 two months after my due date. I thought once we got through the terrible twos that we were in the clear. My 2 year old has really been testing me lately with climbing and standing on the edge of the bed and then calling my name to make sure I see (as I try not to freak out).
Twochebag is about all I can handle some days. Still beats infant but yikes, it's a bit scary to know he's just getting stared!
we had a good morning at gymnastics now it's naptime. I can't sleep though because my sinuses are giving me referred toothpain. Day 15 of the mega cold continues. Might cave and see about abx at my Monday OB appointment since it's only getting worse so it's probably past the viral point.
Now the big debate, grocery shopping or park this afternoon? Kidding. Obviously grocery shopping because kid 1 will be trapped in a cart instead of running around demanding things on a playground.
@BeachMommy2B OB didn't want to give Tamiflu?? And your kiddo had confirmed flu? Did he give a reason? I don't want to ruffle your feathers about your OB but I'd side-eye that *hard* -- you'd get prophylactic oseltamivir from any OB provider in my area and would certainly have been swabbed with symptoms. I'm glad you're both doing better (I presume everyone has been on the up-swing?).
I'm stuck at the hair salon waiting to get my hair finished. Been here since 10:00am and then going to a co-worker's wedding. Tomorrow my husband and sister are painting the nursery and I'm looking forward to that the most.
All the threenager and twouchebag stories are cracking me up because I'm right there with you. In the midst of a tantrum last night DS yelled at me, "You're mean and you're not my mom, Mom!"
Y'all have me terrified to have 3 yr olds, I am barely surviving the 2 year old stage
If it's any consolation, DS was much worse at 2 than he was at 3. At 2 I was ready to pull my hair out most of the time; at 3 it got better; and then as he was about to turn 4 he became a child I didn't even recognize. Gentle and so wanting to please and make me happy.
Then again, I foresee DD will be the opposite because she's just getting more smart-mouthed as her speech develops more and more.

Two does have it's very redeeming moments though. Like the other morning we had to have a talk about kissing nicely after he grabbed my face and kissed me on the mouth and wouldn't let go. He loves just as fiercely as he fights.
So much violent toddler love that you have to explain kisses are supposed to be quick and gentle. Who knew?
Not much for weekend plans so far, but as of right now I'm thinking I will catch up on the rest of the laundry, get some cleaning done around the house, and take DD to the little park in our complex before nap time to wear her out. Tomorrow DH is off so we'll be doing some early Easter shopping for DD before everything is picked through (I'm overly excited because she has a current obsession with baskets and picking up all of her little toys) and hopefully ending the day with dinner at our favorite place.

Yes, since I didn't have a fever he wanted it to run its course... this is after I'd been sick for 4 weeks with some type of bronchitis. I was sideyeing him hard don't get me wrong. DD is all better, im on the upswing. Still have the nagging cough
No big plans here! Target run and going to the craft store. More organizing for this LO. Got the grocery shopping done this morning, my least favorite thing to do these days.
You ladies have me worried about DD turning 3. She just turned 2 & 1/2 and she's already very testing and doesn't want to listen. Any advice on getting my 2 & 1/2 year old to listen would be much appreciated
Random Asking here, although not weekend related...DH and I don't really agree so what are your opinions on male family members (i.e. dads, brothers, etc) touching your belly while pregnant? Weird, not weird, depends on the relationship?
