Ectopic risk factors

hi everyone!

trigger warning

so I'm not new to the board as I've been trying with IVf over a year now. Anyways, finally got a bfp and came back from the 5 week ultrasound and it's twins!

Anyways, I'm having a hard time letting myself get happy as I'm sure you all can understand as I'm waiting for yet another heartbreak. Sounds weird I know, but I can't help but be nervous as this is the furthest I ever got.

Ive been going over risk factors but can't find anything definitive. How can I make sure both my babies stay right where they are. How many weeks do I have to be before ectopic is no longer a risk factor. I hope I don't sound crazy but I would like any insight as I still don't see how it's possible for them to move out of my uterus but I've heard horror stories on this blog before I just want to have some piece of mind.

Re: Ectopic risk factors

  • If you have already seen both babies in the uterus than there is no risk for ectopic. They are implanted and staying. They don't move from where they are at this point
