According to my OBs office, started at 127 and I've gained 14 lbs so far (18 weeks and 4' 11"), far cry from my first pregnancy where I only gained 18 the whole time. What about you guys?
I have only gained 4. But in both of my pregnancies, I lost a significant amount of weight before I started gaining. With my last pregnancy, I didn't gain any additional weight until the very end... (Initially lost 24 lbs, then when I started gaining, I broke even around 6-7ish months, then put on about 12 in the last several weeks... but was also induced at 37 weeks because of pre-eclamsia). I ended up losing 40ish pounds right off the bat after DD was born, it was amazing, but short lived.
It is just different for everyone and depends on your situation, body type, etc.
At my last appointment (2/7) I had "officially" gained 1 lb on their scale because I had lost 4 initially (food poisoning). Also though I didn't see the OB until 8 weeks! According to my home scale I was 172 at BFP and 178 now... Although that was before the binging this weekend.
Highly monitored internet and no cell service in the office, so I'm postin' and ghostin' while I'm workin'
My weight fluctuates like CRAZY depending on time of day and water weight. I was up 7lb two weeks ago at my doctors yet Friday was only up 2 lbs from pre pregnancy weight. I really am not putting much thought into it until they tell me I've gained too much...

...I don't want to talk about this, haha. Twins are wreaking havoc on the scale.

I initially lost 7 pounds. I've gained back 6 of those pounds. So technically still minus a pound. But I feel like I gained those 6 FAST and it's going to get crazy from here lol.
Gained 27 pounds last pregnancy and 22 of them were gone after delivery.

8lbs so far for me at week 17. Last pregnancy I only gained 10lbs the whole time...so my weight gain is definitely moving at a different rate than last time.
18 weeks and up four pounds from pre-pregnancy weight. My weight gain is pretty similar to my last pregnancy so far, which I'm happy about because I haven't been nearly as active! Need to hop on that treadmill this week.
Up 2.5, but now I'm back to being active, so 8m hoping it stays that way for a while. I only gained 19 with my first, and I'm only supposed to gain 11-20 with this one, too.
So far I'm up 0.5 lbs. My weight has been incredibly consistent since my BFP. It used to fluctuate 3-4 lbs throughout my cycle but I have weighed within 1 lb of my starting weight since November.
Edited to add: I'm 18 weeks, FTM. And I was overweight to begin with.

I'm still down 7lbs. I'm actually at my lowest weight since getting pregnant with DD. I was really sick the first 15 weeks though. My doctor was concerned but once I explained to him I'm also making healthier snack choices/eating and chasing a toddler around everywhere he let up a little bit.
I only gained 21lbs with DD and I'm not super skinny to begin with so I'm good. Apparently pregnancy is a good diet for me! lol
Now at 20w I'm up 3lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. I lost 10lbs initially from morning sickness. This pregnancy is a lot like my first as far as weight loss/gain. I gained 30lbs with DS, so I'll wait and see with this little one.
I have been on a massive weight loss trend over the last year or so, about 50 pounds by the time I got pregnant. Between my first and second appointment, I stayed exactly the same, then I lost four pounds by the third, and I gained four by the last one, so I am at a net zero at 17 weeks. I only weigh myself at my appointments, so I don't know if I fluctuate throughout the month or not. Also, I know my torso is gaining, so that tells me that I am still losing in other areas. At least, I like to think so...
I have no idea what I weigh. And I don't really know what I weighed when I got pregnant. I avert my eyes from the scale at the doctor's office. I'm sure he wl let know if it's a problem. I will weigh myself whenever I get cleared to exercise after the baby is born (last time it wasn't until 8 weeks) and worry about it then.
I've gained 7 pounds total in 19.5 weeks. As far as I can tell I'm on track, if on the low end of that track.

So like are you worried about weight gain? I don't understand why you want others to talk about their weight. This is a very touchy subject for those of us who have had weight issues so if you could put trigger warning or something. If this has nothing to do with you having any kind concern for it, why clutter the board with a thread to talk about weight gain. There's a weekly symptoms thread for that.
Still in the negative, probably just now even(to where I started) since I'm able to keep food down a little more lately. Dr visit next week. To be honest, I was still 'up' at least ten pounds from DS pregnancy before I would be 'pre-pregnancy weight'. I feel huge.
@mrsla3 I doubt this was meant to upset anyone. I took it as just another check in. I really don't think that OP (or likely many of us) realized that it would be a trigger for some. Sorry if it was.
@MrsLa3 I agree with @chiquita928. I don't think the intent was malicious, just curious to see where other people are at. I don't get the argument that it "clutters the board" when this board is pretty slow as it is.

As of my appointment on Thursday I'm up 3lbs at 19 weeks. I thought I gained more because of how my body feels and how my weight is redistributing. I am not really concerned with the number so long as I gain it gradually over the next 21 weeks and I stay within the range my doctor gave me for weight gain over the whole pregnancy (20-25lbs overall).
I'm sure this wasn't posted purposefully to upset anyone, but I agree with @MrsLa3 that a trigger warning of sorts might be helpful. I hesitated to read anyone's responses because weight is such a touchy subject for me, but then got sucked right in to the comparisons. I know each pregnancy is different, so it's crazy to compare... but I can't help it. I'm desperately trying not to make weight a focus for this pregnancy, as it was a big part of my pregnancy with DS. I do my best to stay (semi)active and make the best eating choices I can. Seriously happy for those of you who can discuss/compare weight with such casual ease
Why the trigger warning? The title says everything you need to know. If weight is a sensitive topic don't click - putting a "TW" in the title give no new information or warning.
I understand weight can can be a very sensitive issue but let's use common sense here. And frankly if anyone is sensitive to weight discussions I see it better to have a separate thread then put it on the weekly symptoms.
At 19 weeks, I am up 1 lbs but I have been pretty sick up to this point (getting better) and last week I was diagnosed with having 3 kidney stones and so I have not been eating much the last week due to the pain.

This. Also without knowing someone's height and actual weight it's also hard to compare anyway.
I didn't want to discuss weight gain or anything related to that in the symptoms thread for the same reasons stated above (even though I did want to know and compare with what I should realistically expect). I think a separate thread that clearly mentions it's about weight gain is a better idea.

It is not a weekly symptom, and it is just an interesting subject to discuss. I do not see anyone here getting triggered, and if one doesn't want to discuss it, then noone has too. Purely optional and out of curiousity, since the halfway point is a milestone for so many of us. I was shocked at my weight gain (and yes, due to PCOS, I fluctuate ALOT) bit by no me and was I diappointed. I am pregnant, and it is all par for the course.
ETA I kinda abandon a post sometimes and things develop while I am busy. Obviously they did, and I didn't get to read many of the new replies.

Totally agree that it is cool to have its own thread. I just think a TW that we are here just to talk about how much we have gained would be nice for those with weight issues, like myself, can stay away. I clicked because I thought maybe there was a concern or issue that I might be able to help with because of my experience with DS. No hate here, discuss away... I'll just steer clear!

Yeah I was actually pretty impressed by the honesty and wide range of numbers in the responses here! No need to read the weight thread if you're sensitive about it (the general you).

It was not meant to be malicious, and so I apologize if it was a trigger for you. I just try to eat as healthy as possible and not worry too much about my weight. I decided to adapt a casual attitude about it at the beginning as all I could keep down was carbs and not so healthy things.
@MamaRN13 The title is literally "Weight gain at the halfway point" what did you think was going to be discussed?
edit:word
I had a major issue with weight (due to an old eating disorder that reared its ugly head) at the half way point and clicked because maybe someone else was going through something similar. If the title has said "how much do you weigh at the half way point" I would have never clicked on it. Obviously my issues are deep and I should have just stayed away completely. Just trying to offer up an alternative viewpoint on the issue.
ETA- @CarsonsMommy thanks for adding the TW, and I know it wasn't malicious. Didn't mean to highjack...
I think its interesting to see where everyone else is! I think I heard that we're supposed to gain an average of 1 lb per week from now on? 19 lbs to go! Haha

I've gained 17 at 18 weeks, but last time I packed the weight on fast and then slowed right down once I hit 20 weeks, then stopped gaining around 35 weeks. Hoping the same happens this time round.
