It's hump day, ladies!! We're half way to Friday!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary?
Timing: -3, -1
R/R: it's going to be a great day!
I thought blackfish was really eye opening. I also like man on wire, citizenfour, and who killed the electric car.
Month/Cycle: 9/12 (5 an-O)
Timing: -4, -2, -1, O
Testing: BFFN this AM
R/R: What a complete and total mindf*ck this cycle is!!! I really truly thought this was it for me to the point where I even had a grad post ready to just copy and paste. I know I wasn't imagining these symptoms and I wasn't even looking for them, they just were conveniently obvious and very much in my face. While I was POAS I was afraid that this would happen and I would be incredibly disappointed and was reminded why I like to wait until AF is late. Not to mention the EDD would have been convenient for certain reasons and god forbid I have something actually be convenient for me! I'm sorry for the dear diary post. I think I may go dark for a few days but I will be sending good thoughts and vibes to all of you ladies!
CS/Q: Still pretty, still BFN
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I can't really say what the last documentary that I watched was
Testing: Fri or Sat
R/R: I have leftover homemade sushi for lunch today. Yum!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I really enjoyed the one that is all the behind the scenes at Costco. It was fascinating.
Testing: trigger pretty much out so nothing till next week
R/R: not much today, I tried some fertility yoga but it was not my jam, the first lady kept talking about how it was stress and negative energy that was keeping people from getting KTFU and the other lady just wanted you to wiggle your hips for 15 min. So I think I'm going back to my trusty yoga with adirane tomorrow.
CS/Q: finally 3 days of sustained high temps. otherwise super ugly.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? not specifically... I love the nature stuff
@bertiemeetsgertie This is a bit of a soap box but blackfish is full of shit. most of the video is totally old school or not any of the animals actually at sea world. As someone who has seen first hand how they take care of those animals it is AMAZING. They go above and beyond. those keepers and trainers will be there around the clock if an animal is sick or there is a problem. NO expense is spared in terms of treatment, nutrition, care and enrichment. The folks that work with them are incredibly passionate and love those animals. Will I give that we should not be collecting animals from the wild, yes but that practice is pretty much non-existent with a reputable institution these days. Almost all of the orcas in captivity at seaworld were bread in captivity. OK. I'm done.
@lulu1180 oh girl, I was so certain this was going to be your cycle. I am sending you huge hugs. I am so very sorry.
Timing:-3, -1, 0
Testing: Pee pact with @LuND for Sunday. Thanks for helping me stay strong
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I don't know if it's considered a documentary but Bowling for Columbine is a rough one for me.
Timing: -3 -1 +1
Testing: Finally stopped testing. AF is arriving on Friday and then onto the next one
R/R: Excited for my appointment next week. We have auditors in this week and it's been so busy!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? Before the Flood! I've tried to reduce my carbon footprint ever since watching it.
Testing: Holding out as long as possible
R/R: I was able to get into my doctor today at 230 this afternoon. I hate going to the doctor. I am so nervous. DF is going with me. The storm has dropped so much snow on us. I'm 5'7 and the snow was up to my hips. It's crazy. We are suppose to get more tonight
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? Not that I can think of.
@lulu1180 I am SO sorry. I was really, really hoping for you this cycle. So many hugs.
@wabash15 LOL, the wiggly hips doesn't sound like yoga - more like belly dancing.
@BertieMeetsGertie This bumpy slept in for waaayyy to long. DF came back from getting shit done and I was snoozing away. Oh well, he doesn't have to have an instrument shoved in his vagina today so I deserved it.
Me 27 DF 44TTC post VR Sept 21/16SA 6 weeks post op 50.7 mil count 40% motility
Timing: -4, -3, -2, 0
Testing: Sunday Pee Pact with @Dilynne!
R/R: Ugh, my back has been bothering me. I tend to get tight hip flexors, which causes lower back pain. I'm sure the fact that my core strength is nonexistent right now totally doesn't help. I also fell off my horse and fractured my pelvis and sacrum a couple years ago, so that plays a part. Of course I'm dumb and was hoping the back pain was a tangible symptom.... except the back pain started before I O'd and is a general recurring issue. So, I'm just out of shape, need to lose weight, and probably not KU.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? ... I don't really watch documentaries. I probably should, but I don't generally like to think that hard on my time off lol.
Month/Cycle: 5/5 3TTCAL
CD/DPO: CD 21 / 10 DPO
Timing: -5, -2, -1
Testing: Probably Sunday (14DPO)
Rave: It's Wednesday and the week is almost half way over. Also, dinner with friends last night was so much fun. We haven't gone out with friends in months and I miss being social sometimes...but I will probably go back to be a house hermit and couch potato this weekend. I also drank half a bottle of moscato last night..I know it was early (9dpo), but I think it's fine either way, it was delicious.
Rant: I am tired. Woke up again early, this time at 5:00am. Fell in and out of sleep until my usual wake up time around 6:00am. My temp dropped considerably from the previous two days, but still well above cover line. So not sure if it is due to the lack of sleep or what.
CS/Q: Nothing. I don't like my chart anymore and I have no symptoms, so my level of optimism for this cycle is pretty low.
I have a few that I enjoyed watching including: Food Nation, King Corn, Sicko and Who Killed the Electric Car
*lurking from WTO*
Oh no @lulu1180! I am so sorry, I was really rooting for you. So many hugs your way!
Me: 31 DH:32
TTC #1 6/2016
Timing: -5, -2, -1, 0, +1
Testing: if AF is late
R/R: ughhhh whyyy did I agree to work overtime tonight?? I usually only work overnight on Friday and Saturday but we had someone quit so I agreed to do an extra shift tonight. It's totally going to screw me up because I'll get home at 6am, sleep a few hours, and then try to get to sleep at a normal time tomorrow just to wake up Friday and do another overnight. So basically I'll be a zombie until Sundayish.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I think the only documentary I've seen is the one where the guy keeps puking up McDonald's.
I go here now! Apparently my chart is so bad from lack of temping this month that FF just said forget it and gave me a CH based on OPK only.
@lulu1180 I'm so sorry for the BFN. Take the time you need. We are here for you when you're ready.
@wabash15 Stress and negative energy huh? Well, I guess if they can get people to believe that, they'll keep coming back. Ugh.
CD/DPO: 21/2 (If my temp increase today is the start of my thermal shift, and I follow my usual pattern, I'd say I'm actually 1dpo, not that it makes any huge difference)
Timing: -1, 0 (or -1, -2)
Testing: Before I leave for Vegas next week.
R/R: So far I have managed to escape the flu, so YAY for that! My rant is for my trip to LV next week. I'm hoping the forecast will change, but as of now it will be warmer here in my home state than there. WTF.
CS/Q: Nope. I've done much less temping this month because of sleep interruptions, so it's not much to look at.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I don't have one favorite, but there are many that I really like. The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia is trainwreck, cringeworthy good. If you want to punish yourself, I recommend Dear Zachary. It's so good but not happy good. It's so amazingly emotional, and you will cry. And just when you think you're done crying, you'll cry more. It's heavy. I have not been able to rewatch it, but I'm glad I watched it once, if that makes sense. On a lighter note, I like Supersize Me, the one about Sriracha, and The Queen of Versailles.
Month/Cycle: 4/3 After break
Testing: I was gonna try to wait til Monday, then I was thinking Saturday for drinking purposes but now idk if I will at all because I just feel out.
R/R: nothing. Just relaxing at home today.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I don't watch documentaries
@lulu1180: I'm so sorry for the BFN.
Testing: Holding out for at least another week.
R/R: I got to have lunch with my hubby today which is always a nice treat! I'm so over tax season and these long hours! Really hoping what @wabash15 was told about stress and negative energy isn't true for me because that is all I am right now!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? The most recent one we watched was Man on Wire. It was actually a lot more interesting than I thought it would be, but it was also very surreal to see the Towers.
@lulu1180 NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I also thought this was your month for sure. Creepy Internet hugs and take care of yourself however you see fit
@cactusblossum @wabash15 there is nothing. NOTHING better than a Wegman's
@haylsbayls sorry for looming CD1
Timing: -4, -1
R/R: Staying strong with BSC SS. Last night I woke up at 2am so nauseous and dry heaved a lot. "TOTES KTFU" is what my crazy TWW brain says. My actual brain responds with " YOu have been sick and living on soup and noodles for 5 days. But for dinner tonight, you ate chocolate chip pancakes, a half pound of bacon, and 3 slices of Taylor Ham with cheese (pork roll) and washed it down with two large mimosas". Also, i was up for two hours with that pain and that was not fantastic. I kind of wish I Just got sick, I feel like I would have fallen back to sleep faster. Also I Need to eat salad the rest of this month (just kidding, I plan to eat my way through Disney world)
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I really liked Jiro Dreams of Sushi. We have been meaning to watch Man on Wire for so long and have never done it
Lol @wabash15 I actually hate Wegmans.
