@lulu1180 Hugs, my friend. That disappointment is crushing so none of us would blame you for doing whatever it is you need to do to take care of yourself. I'm so, so sorry for that BFN. I know there's nothing we can say, but you are in my thoughts and prayers.

So I think I'm going back to my trusty yoga with adirane tomorrow.
CS/Q: finally 3 days of sustained high temps. otherwise super ugly.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? not specifically... I love the nature stuff
@bertiemeetsgertie This is a bit of a soap box but blackfish is full of shit. most of the video is totally old school or not any of the animals actually at sea world. As someone who has seen first hand how they take care of those animals it is AMAZING. They go above and beyond. those keepers and trainers will be there around the clock if an animal is sick or there is a problem. NO expense is spared in terms of treatment, nutrition, care and enrichment. The folks that work with them are incredibly passionate and love those animals. Will I give that we should not be collecting animals from the wild, yes but that practice is pretty much non-existent with a reputable institution these days. Almost all of the orcas in captivity at seaworld were bread in captivity. OK. I'm done.

CS/Q: Nope. I've done much less temping this month because of sleep interruptions, so it's not much to look at.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I don't have one favorite, but there are many that I really like. The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia is trainwreck, cringeworthy good. If you want to punish yourself, I recommend Dear Zachary. It's so good but not happy good. It's so amazingly emotional, and you will cry. And just when you think you're done crying, you'll cry more. It's heavy. I have not been able to rewatch it, but I'm glad I watched it once, if that makes sense. On a lighter note, I like Supersize Me, the one about Sriracha, and The Queen of Versailles.
@alysapuggles omg I think I mentally blocked our dear Zachary. That shit was sooooo emotionally taxing. It was a good documentary, but it was "good." You know what I mean!
@wabash15 soapbox away, my friend! It's been a few years since I've watched it so I'd have to go back and watch it to really respond to your comments. I think we can both agree that animal care at zoos, aquariums, research facilities, etc are typically great and monitored very well. I think we can also agree on the holding/catching animals and keeping them in captivity is not the best thing to do (unless you are working to rebuild the population of a species). In my recollection, the orca clearly had issues with being in captivity and acted out. However, Someone who is not trained to deal with those animals and just wants to hang out in the pool with them after hours deserves whatever they get. That's just stupid.

@dragonfly87 you don't have to be brave, just make sure you get the fish from a good place... I got ours from AJs here in Az. We would get it from wegmans when we lived in New England, or whole foods should be good too. It doesn't end up being a ton cheaper than going out, but it's fun!
@cactusblossum That makes sense. Living in a landlocked state and given we mostly shop at Costco and Walmart, I don't trust the quality of fish I would be purchasing
@cactusblossum OMG WEGMANS!!!! I grew up where they started so MUST make a pilgrimage whenever I am home. If wegmans does not have it, it either does not exist or you don't need it!

Lol @wabash15 I actually hate Wegmans. It stresses me out big time because it's always mobbed and I never knew where to find anything. Their layout just doesn't mesh with my brain for some reason. The only time I would really go is for sushi fish, for good cheese, to get ground lamb to make gyros, or to go to the food court. Apparently now they have halo top ice cream so I would have gone for that too. I agree, though, they have everything!
Side plug for halo top ice cream PS. They're 240-360 calories per pint! Total godsend.
R/R: Staying strong with BSC SS. Last night I woke up at 2am so nauseous and dry heaved a lot. "TOTES KTFU" is what my crazy TWW brain says. Also, i was up for two hours with that pain and that was not fantastic. I kind of wish I Just got sick, I feel like I would have fallen back to sleep faster. So, just got home from the doctor. I had talked to her about my depression/anxiety and she didn't want to prescribe anything because we are ttc. She recommended healthy diet and exercise or doing something for me that helps mental health. She also used the relax word. I understand she didn't mean it offensively or insensitively. She told me DFs reversal doctor is one of the leading doctors for reversals so if he thought everything was good she would take his word. She did my pap and ordered some routine/horomonal blood work. Q the BSC I have been spotting ever since the pap. I may have been secretly wishing she would have said something like oooo looks promising bahaha (I know I know). She did say I have a tilted cervix. Jan-Feb 2018: IVF--17 eggs retrieved, 13 fertilized, 9 frozen and 1 transferred on 2/10 = BFP on 2/19!!! EDD 10/29/2018
FET Oct 2021: BFP on 10/31! MC at 5 weeks
FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22
I go here now! Apparently my chart is so bad from lack of temping this month that FF just said forget it and gave me a CH based on OPK only.
@lulu1180 I'm so sorry for the BFN. Take the time you need. We are here for you when you're ready.
@wabash15 Stress and negative energy huh? Well, I guess if they can get people to believe that, they'll keep coming back. Ugh.
Month/Cycle: 8/8
CD/DPO: 21/2 (If my temp increase today is the start of my thermal shift, and I follow my usual pattern, I'd say I'm actually 1dpo, not that it makes any huge difference)
Timing: -1, 0 (or -1, -2)
Testing: Before I leave for Vegas next week.
R/R: So far I have managed to escape the flu, so YAY for that! My rant is for my trip to LV next week. I'm hoping the forecast will change, but as of now it will be warmer here in my home state than there. WTF.
Me: 36 DH: 41
Month/Cycle: 4/3 After break
CD/DPO: 26/8
Timing: good
Testing: I was gonna try to wait til Monday, then I was thinking Saturday for drinking purposes but now idk if I will at all because I just feel out.
R/R: nothing. Just relaxing at home today.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I don't watch documentaries

@lulu1180: I'm so sorry for the BFN.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 21/5
Timing:-4,-3,-2,-1,0
Testing: Holding out for at least another week.
R/R: I got to have lunch with my hubby today which is always a nice treat! I'm so over tax season and these long hours! Really hoping what @wabash15 was told about stress and negative energy isn't true for me because that is all I am right now!
CS/Q:
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? The most recent one we watched was Man on Wire. It was actually a lot more interesting than I thought it would be, but it was also very surreal to see the Towers.

R/R: Staying strong with BSC SS. Last night I woke up at 2am so nauseous and dry heaved a lot. "TOTES KTFU" is what my crazy TWW brain says. My actual brain responds with " YOu have been sick and living on soup and noodles for 5 days. But for dinner tonight, you ate chocolate chip pancakes, a half pound of bacon, and 3 slices of Taylor Ham with cheese (pork roll) and washed it down with two large mimosas". Also, i was up for two hours with that pain and that was not fantastic. I kind of wish I Just got sick, I feel like I would have fallen back to sleep faster. Also I Need to eat salad the rest of this month (just kidding, I plan to eat my way through Disney world)
CS/Q: nope!
GTKY: Do you have a favorite documentary? I really liked Jiro Dreams of Sushi. We have been meaning to watch Man on Wire for so long and have never done it
