The ladies I work with must be savages then because it is a chorus of butt trumpets. There is no waiting or polite white noise, just carnage. I have my "me time" conveniently scheduled for just before the ladies start coming in after their morning coffee.
I can't wait until the rest of our friends are married so we can go on vacations instead of DH having to use vacation days for weddings.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Super random question for all of you--do you ever wear headphones, even when they aren't playing anything? I have no idea why, but when I put them in at work, they seem to help me focus even without sound!

I say it depends. DH wears "boxer briefs" that are baggy in the crotch (like boxers) but fit his thighs. He has other pairs that hug everything but he doesn't like them as much as I do I say the former are safe and the latter are on par with tightly whities. But that's one dick-less, non-RE's opinion lol
@sheknows6 I heard the term booty trumpets on my wife and kids years ago but no one else seems to appreciate the phrase. DF and I recently "broke the barrier". Gross... yes. Hilarious at the same time. https://youtu.be/Jkmw9oGIDhI

@jsnakehole I hate Navient and am hoping this tax return will help pay off that loan but I have to see if DH has one with a higher interest. My Navient one is almost 9%!
@AlohaKumu I do that too and my office is silent since i work alone
@FLAshley I can't remember when I stopped hiding farts from DH. Now the only time we hold them in is during sex and if we're showering together.
DH just mopped the floor for me! Mostly because it's his dog that's been peeing on the floor. We clean it up each time but it needed a proper clean. We're doing our taxes today, going out to dinner tonight, and volunteering at the shelter we got his dog from tomorrow. And yes I say his dog because she's been bad the last few days and won't stop barking at outside noises which we can't control.
eta: We were supposed to do our taxes but DH didn't print his W2 and he can't access it from home.
@Everycol0r She's going through heart worm treatment right now and is on prednisone which makes her drink and pee more. We house trained her in just a few days but with the medicine she sometimes can't hold it for long enough while I'm at work. But yes, his dog his mop lol.
@slaven One of our dogs goes on prednisone every year from August until the first snowfall due to allergies. It's the worst between the peeing and the weight gain. He is a small dog and I always worry about them being overweight. He really loses his motivation when he is on it too but unfortunately it's the only thing that works for him.

@FLAshley she's still energetic and hasn't gained much from it. She gained 2lbs the first round but that was also her first month out of the shelter so I think it was just from eating well.
Who's a genius and was so tired she flipped her thermostat from heating to air conditioning last night? This guy! I'd give myself a pat on the back but my hands are so cold they might shatter.

Omg this thread. I laughed out loud at "poop stalemate", totally been there haha.
Along with @BertieMeetsGertie question about boxer briefs, I have a bit of a tiff. DH is training for his first (and he says now only thank God) full marathon. We are flying out to LA to do it with our best friends who live thereat the end of March. *TW* we haven't had a problem with DHs sperm before (see siggy) but *End TW*
He has been wearing compression running shorts on his long training runs, and cross training by doing a ton of cycling in cycling shorts (also very tight and warm and cycling in general isn't easy on the junk) so I brought up that maybe this isn't good for our TTC purposes. His response was understandably that he needs to do these things to prepare, but really with compression shorts? Ugh I get it, but also has me upset grrrr
This is a TTGP board, why the TW about sperm talk? I get it that some folks deal with MFI but it's just common sense some people will not have sperm issues and others will.

@jsnakehole whose tired male counterpart (who insisted on sleeping on the couch with Hobbits on all night, mind you), put the coffeepot on to brew and made his first cup of coffe in the keurig.... with NO CUP? This girl. Gotta love Saturdays...
DF and I are heading out in an hour to watch Rings in theatre. Anyone see it ? Is it going to scare my pants off ? We aren't much for horror but I am being lazy today and trying to avoid the gym (like I did yesterday). Oh well, it's the weekend. Back to it tomorrow and I am betting it's going to be with a minor hangover.
Me 27 DF 44 TTC post VR Sept 21/16 SA 6 weeks post op 50.7 mil count 40% motility
@Everycol0r@heatherdubrow yes @loveindc I was giving a TW because of my siggy, indicating the losses (aka that there wasn't a previous problem with DHs sperm as I did get pregnant before)
@BusinessWife I've made coffee with my keurig, just to think I didn't push the button yet and then make a second cup, overflowing my coffee cup. I thought the keurig was broken and DH just went with it until I realized what happened. I've also forgotten to take out the old kcup and have made coffee water multiple times.
@GG620 What I hate most about those compression shorts is how difficult it is to get the smell of (sorry for the grossness) testicle sweat out of them. They just absorb it and it stays no matter how many times I wash them. I guess I should be kind of thankful I'm not washing DH's underwear after PT (even though I did get a little misty-eyed refolding his clean underwear that's left in his dresser. Maybe I do miss washing his underwear?).

@jsnakehole bahaha I just cracked up at "testicle sweat" and yesssss. DH doesnt wear anything under them and my lord are they sweaty after 20 miles and I agree, they never quite smell clean!

Yeah I wish Disney had paid better attention to the time lines. Maybe said he had to break the spell by 10 years rather than a birthday?

Yea it's all jacked up. They said a young prince, but the photo he destroys is of a young man (who he looks exactly like when he turns into man from beast). He's got to find true love by his 21st year and Lumiere says they've been trapped like this for 10 years.
