@Everycol0r I'm pretty sure it was related to the first time I ever got a warning... which was my very first day here. LOL I think all the regs were like "WHO DA FUK IS THIS BISH"
I have no self control.
I got flamed so hard on my first day on TB in the IF board my ass is still chapped from that arse whoopin. I'm scared of that board for life.
LFAF February Siggy Challenge - "Favorite TV/Movie Couple"
Oh here's another FFFC : As a photographer I keep running scenarios and session ideas for how to make our public announcement. A few months ago I bought a shirt on clearance for under 2 bucks at kohls that has a number 3 on it. I am planning on having my oldest hold up one finger, my second hold up 2, and DH point to the number 3, and me hold 3 fingers up next to my stomach. Clearly I'm BSC. I am even more crazy to have mentioned that were TTC to my neighbor who only dabbles in photography , and asked her to just take the picture for me if we conceive, and I'll edit it.

LOL and this is why you have to give newbie fuck ups a chance! Otherwise TB wouldn't have us. What a dark place that would be.
I haven't gotten to the point where I actually buy baby stuff, but I do buy extra target gift cards all the time. With the intention of using them to buy baby stuff...or to go on retail therapy on CD1.

I pretty much stopped after failed IUI #2 but holy shit ya'll I bought WAYYYYYYYYYY too much baby stuff. I had to go to Target and buy tons of huge storage bins for it all. Now it just sits in the guest rooms like the god damn Tell Tale Heart.
Oh another FFFC: In the past month I have spent $300 on essential oils for fertility. I know it's basically snake oil. I cannot help it. Unreasonable voice in my head goes "Yeah but if it DOES work then $300 is so much cheaper than 15K IVF!". Don't tell H on me, please.
@Everycol0r ...but have you seen Flight of the Navigator?
my FFFC: we're having people over for Super Bowl, and for about a week now I've been mentally planning all of the delicious food I'm going to stuff in my face. My cheat day game is strong.
another FFFC - I bought a new car last weekend so I would have no excuse to drive places in the snow but it snowed last night and I have every intention of using it as an excuse to not go to the grocery store and send DH instead.
Me: 28 | DH: 33 EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks
@antoto I shut the door to our future nursery to avoid looking at the purchases I have made. Also, I've considered the essential oils because like you said... why not? Also, I need SOMETHING to help me chill the f out.
@tennis11785 I like the way you think.... retail therapy has replaced food & wine therapy for me. However, it is MUCH more expensive. We have a "baby fund" in our budget that may have to be re-routed to "hartmich is depressed and needs new shoes".
@hartmich are you on Instagram? If so go follow "inspired.oil.life" a few posts down she has a "fertility blend" with Clary Sage, Fennel, Geranium, Lavender, and Bergamot that I will be testing out today when my shipment comes in! I get my oils and fractionated coconut oil from doterra and I bought empty glass rollerballs from Amazon.
@antoto the amount of money I've poured into things that haven't been proven to help but "can't hurt" is shameful at this point and could probably have paid for my RE testing (at the very least) instead. I think my low point last summer was doing meditation for fertility... if DH ever knew, I would never live it down.
FFFC: Even though I'm trying to not drink during the TWW, I might break my own rule on Superbowl Sunday. We're also hosting a party. Of course, I'll test before drinking. And of course, because I'll only be 7dpo, it will be too early, negative, and I'll get disappointed.

Ehhhh at least meditation can help you momentarily escape from TTC/IF stress. I use meditation a lot (I know. all of you are shocked. Try to stay calm) for that reason! Last night I straight up could not sleep from anxiety and needed to meditate to have my nervous system chill the f out.
@BusinessWife DH and I aren't huge football fans. He hates it ( he's more of a bmx, rally racing, extreme sports kinda guy) and I like to tailgate for food and booze only haha. So we have not and will not attend a SB party either
@antoto oh I'm definitely not knocking the benefits of meditation. However, I learned quickly that having a guided meditation each night revolve around the womb and having a baby come into physical form did NOT calm the BSC whatsoever in my case.

OH GOD haha yeah some guided meditation is actually so silly I end up just giggling listening to it and it does not work. If I do a guided meditation it's usually only the ones that put you to sleep.
@tennis11785 I tell myself with every drink "enjoy it because it's the last you're having for the next nine months" (maybe that's an FFFC, haha) sooo.. enjoy it and don't feel guilty

@magnolia131 Hahaha my mom once told me the reason we hadn't conceived yet, according to feng shui, was that we hadn't created emotional room in our lives for a baby. The solution was to think about pregnancy more! I was like...not thinking about pregnancy enough is NOT the problem.
@canonmom14 mine too! Not that we watch a lot of that on tv, either. Lol. On the weekends, he'll watch more of the project car/bike shows, or lately it's making robotics ones on youtube, or good old woodworking/renovation projects. Just not the reality tv ones. He gets so disgusted when they mix in the drama llamas and has to shut it off, and I'm like Nooooo, but I have to see The REVEAL! So it just doesn't work lol

A very prominent yoga teacher here in AZ recently told me that I had to STOP thinking about getting pregnant so much because that negative energy was blocking my baby from coming to me. AND THEN like 5 minutes later told me I should visualize myself being pregnant.
Ha...who knew. No wonder the last two years have been unsuccessful...we've been leaving our bathroom door open and forgot to place a crystal egg next to our bed.

THIS. Except I've been looking at the Ava Bracelet. Do I think it will work? Most likely not, but in the off chances that it does $200 isn't bad and would totally justify the cost. It's just been sitting in my online cart because I keep putting it off that I'll get KTFU and won't need it.
