I bought 1 pack of diapers, 1 value pack of wipes, diaper cream, and a "grass" drying rack at Aldi yesterday. The rack and cream were a special buy, so if you don't hop on it right away it's gone. The prices are too good to pass up. The other day I found a Bebe at lait nursing cover st target , clearly an online return, for 10.49. Obviously had to buy it since it was originally like 26 bucks. All because you know, preparedness. The cream is the only thing with a date and won't go bad until dec 2018.

I've been doing everything I can to get out of going to be with DH's family this weekend. We don't gethink along all that great (they're crazy and are so weird about a lot of things). Plus, this is my weekend off so usually the only time we get to spend together since we really don't see each other during the week. Usually when we see them, I end up sitting in the corner looking like an idiot because everyone has conversations with everyone but me or they walk away and do their own thing with each other and I'm left there looking stupid...

I self-soothed on CD 1 by telling myself "at least I won't be on a BMB with she-who-must-not-be-named." 

(Although let's be serious. I'd gladly share a BMB with Lady Voldemort if it meant I got a BFP)

FFFC: I recently made a new purchase of 2 fitted diapers and another 10-pack of wipes... in order to get the lush promo security blanket!   o:)  now just fx I get the colour/print I was hoping for, or else one of my two backup colour requests.

I have also graduated lately to browsing online actual baby clothes, since my CD stash is so very achingly nearly complete.

@BusinessWife that's who I suspected. I have been stalking that BMB getting a feel for the crazies already there. 

Edited to add: I am dying to start fluff purchases. I have not used them with either of my girls.  But want to now. I of course will stock up disposies too just in case. I give you loads of props!

I have also been stalking the October BMB. Several people in the intro thread made me roll my eyes because they were complaining about how their last BMB was "so mean!" I took a look at their post history and they didn't have much for having been "active on their BMB" for their entire pregnancies. 

This leads me to my FFFC: I preferred TB before the changes. Were there some meanies who got off on being jerks? Definitely. Was there less BS in general? Yes, because when people were being crappy they got called on it.

FFFC2: If your post history shows the number of discussions you have started is half or more of your total replies, I definitely think you are a taker and not truly supporting anyone else. You come, ask your questions, get your support and that's it. Case in point - Lady Voldemort.

Edit: Their, there, they're. I know it I swear. 

Edit edit: Not that you guys don't call people on crap, but you have to be much more careful about it with the new rules.

Old TB was the glory days. 

It's very possible to bring it back, just gotta know where and how to poke the bear.

FFFC:  I work in a field that isn't known for being very supportive of pregnant women and my employers specifically have shown a recent track record of being dicks to my pregnant co-worker. I don't log into TB from my work comouter, but I definitely look at TTGP and respond on my phone. I give zero fucks if they look at my browsing history and find out. I need a new job anyway.

Also, I too have scoped out the Oct BMB with Bellatrix (Cursed Child) and will happily and enthusiasticly take it if this happens to be our month...but probably won't be in that BMB much.

I don't think I have ever had a month of TTC where I didn't know exactly when my EDD would be and how exactly I would tell everyone.  LOL

My FFFC - there are certain words I spell incorrectly almost every single time and I will never learn any better because auto correct and spell check will always save me.

When someone says something crappy you want to remember so their SN goes on your post it. Part of why TB never forgets.

@lulu1180 I think it's like a "note to self" about a username that you don't like for whatever reason. i.e. "Lady Voldemort is on my post it". But correct me if I'm wrong @antoto!
