@margareth I'll be 5w4d. Probably be too early to see heartbeat but so long as my betas come back good and the baby measures where he should be I'll be ok.

@GhanimaAtreides My Dr asked me "have you had sex in the past few days?" So that may have been the cause. FX everything is okay!
Also, with my miscarriage, when the red blood started it got worse pretty quickly and the cramps were pretty bad. It wasn't a "bleed some here and there" type of thing. Not sure if that helps at all, but just as frame of reference...
@HollyGolightly09@heatherwilson321 I'm hoping the same. My really traumatic loss at 9 weeks (full on hemorrhage) after seeing the HB started with similar to this, though the spotting started in the 5th week and was intermittent, triggered by strenuous exercise, sex, and bowel movements. It was my first loss and I didn't want to be "that" high-maintenance pregnant patient who just whined about spotting to get a scan. It progressed to constant light bleeding by the 8th week, and by then I felt like it was finally ok to be the squeaky wheel. I still feel like this has to keep up overnight to merit a call to my doc. Plus a long ass ER wait for a dark red blob and old-blood CM is hardly the place to be to calm nerves, right?
I have some progesterone suppositories left over. Doc offered them this time but she really made it seem like they're just placebo effect, so I turned them down. I'll call advanced repro tomorrow to let them know and if they don't ask me to come in right away I'll take doc up on her offer and request a new script. I'd start tonight, except last time the other OB office did an internal exam to ensure the blood wasn't originating from within the os (it was) and I wouldn't want cream masking anything.
Thank you ladies for the kind reassuring words last night. Things calmed down overnight. CM was back to normal, temp was down a tenth but well within range, and I finally got my 3+ which has totally eased my mind.
...I am technically 4 weeks DPO today, last Thursday at 3 weeks 4 days from O I had gotten a 2-3 and it was upsetting knowing my beta was 1,571 on Monday, and only 6% of women in the 3,000 beta range in the FDA study got 2-3, while all got 3+ once in the 4,000 beta range.
My google wormhole led me to this: apparently you can *cause* an SCH to develop if you orgasm hard enough ...annnnnd now I'm terrified of sex and self-help. Because I cramp HARD after.
I don't know if that's accurate. The last time I checked, your uterus doesn't rip apart during orgasms but they can cause contractions. (Which is why doctors sometimes recommend trying sex to stimulate labor if you're overdue) I'd talk to your doctor about that and not rely solely on Google.

Well, yes, of course it doesn't cause uterine rupture. But the cramps are hard enough it's stop-and-assume-fetal-position time for me while pregnant, which isn't exactly fun.
Not feeling any symptoms today and thus getting nervous... ugh, waiting is the worst. Anyone else having come and go symptoms or a lack of symptoms? Wednesday couldn't come sooner, though I'm scared to go...

I have had the same. I was having morning sickness all day and then yesterday nothing. It freaked me out a bit. I definitely can't wait for our appointment on 1/24.
Update: more dark red/brown CM mix, with dark red carrot-seed sized clots on and off today. I did a 200mg progesterone suppository at the first sign this morning, will do another tonight (then hopefully continue night doses to maximize absorption). Advanced reproduction is closed today so I'll call first thing tomorrow. Mild cramping and backache when we took the family out for lunch, so I'm in bed resting. I don't see much point in going to the ER; advanced repro is usually pretty good about same day appointments so they probably have me come in tomorrow. Can't think of anything else I can do on my end, right?
update & late night freak out. So I am on Progesterone Suppositories. Last night after I "took" it, the applicator had pink discharge/blood in it. Talk about total freak out. I have had 3 MC. My husband is away for training in California (who i finally couldnt keep the secret from anymore, and told him on Friday), so I skyped him and he is trying to calm me down, which just spins me up more. Finally fell asleep around midnight. Had to wait until 8a to call the Dr office. Left message with the Nurse. I "check" myself, and there's no blood or pink that i can see, she calls back and is all "there's nothing we can really do, because this early on it could be the normal bleeding, you could have scrapped yourself with the applicator, or it could be worse case, it's too early to tell the difference, if it gets worse let us know" UGH! I have an appointment with her on Monday and my 8wk appointment on Feb 8. I hate all these waiting games! Hopefully i just accidentally scraped my insides with the applicator, and that is all.
2nd Update: Spotting & cramping has stopped now that I've been on progesterone 24hrs. BBT shot up .2 from normal, so I know it's working. The nurse from advanced Repro called and said she was calling in more progesterone, that I should rest and hydrate. She said it's probably an SCH and we'll see it on my regularly scheduled ultrasound Thursday @ 6w5d.
I...am...dragging... How do you progesterone supplementing ladies do it? I slept from 9-7 and by 1 I was crawling back in bed for more downtime. Yawning like every 5 minutes. Ugh.
I had my first appointment with my OB today. Other than being there FOREVER (she was delivering a baby), everything went well! The heart rate was 131 and she said as much as I'm hating the terrible nausea, it's actually a good sign.
@lahearn18 Ugh, I'm sorry. Since it was only a little bit that once, you probably just scratched yourself a little. I know Feb 8 seems forever away, though!
Finally got a call back from my Dr for my 2nd round of blood work. Pissed I couldn't pick up my phone but he did leave a voicemail. Said it came back and everything looks great. Wish he had given me numbers or went into a little more detail. Debating on calling back to get more info

If it was me, I'd call and ask if a nurse could tell me my actual numbers but I'm annoying.

My RE wanted to do an early ultrasound today because of my back pain and cramping. I saw a different doctor than normal at the ultrasound and he was so not reassuring. He said my cervix was closed, but that if the back pain and cramping keep up it could definitely be indicative of a miscarriage. Then he did my ultrasound and said it looks like I ovulated on my right side because that's where the cyst is, so he doesn't think the cyst is causing the pain. The gestational sac was measuring at 6 mm and I think the yolk sac was at 2 mm. He didn't even print out a picture. Like if I have a miscarriage that would have been my only picture. He was just so monotone and not caring, it didn't make me feel better at all.
@heatherwilson321 That's always so terrible to get a doctor with poor bedside manner. You can look up normal measurements at your gestational age, but it sounds like they saw all they needed to see! In the future, I'm sure you can request to not see that doctor anymore when you make an appt.

Ive been taking progesterone since Jan 6. The first few days i slept like crazy ive adjusted to it now and i just make sure to squeeze in a work out everyday to help with the fatigue.
Thanks love! I keep telling myself that, but god forbid 1 boob stops hurting as much i panic for a second and then i calm down a minute or 2 later lol. Uggh. And yay for you and the heart rate!!! So sorry you're struggling with nausea but yes it is a positive sign!!!
So luckily the nurse called me tonight to follow up without me having to call! She said my HCG is at 79,323 (don't know what it was at 1st round) and my progesterone is at 21.2 (1st round at 9.9) so I'm thrilled!! But I forgot to ask about the urine sample (they're monitoring me more closely for pre-eclampsia bc I was boarderline my 1st PG), im assuming it was good since she didn't say anything. Happy girl over hear! And I called the radiology center to schedule my ultrasound and it's next Wednesday!
My next appointment isn't for a week now! Ahhhhhh, my PGAL brain is going to go crazy between now and then! I just want a somewhat accurate EDD, my ovulation dates were so iffy, so I'm kind of just estimating myself.
@heatherwilson321 he didn't even tell you how far along you are measuring? I would request to not see him again... it's so frustrating that the appointment should have made you feel better, not more confused.
