@flyingncmama first off, you reminded me that west Lansing just had a chick-fil-a open and I have YET to go!
Fingers crossed for your hubs. My friends family in those areas are engineers, accountants, nurses and sales reps. Doesn't sound like those fit the bill for your DH but I'll stay hopeful for you guys!
@flyingncmama I feel your pain. H had been out of work since before Thanksgiving, and it's really putting a strain on things. I hope he can find something quickly!
We went to a new Parents of Multiples night and got a bunch of samples the other day. I was finally organizing them, and they gave us packs of NB diapers.
I forgot how TINY they are! DD came out 6 pounds and she was swimming in the NB diaper; I had to cut the top because otherwise it rubbed her umbilical cord. And they're TINYYYYY.
Awwww.

@Wearmi1 on a good day when I'm not pregnant DH only weighs 10-12lbs more than I do (he's not a big guy) so I will pass him shortly. I had done so by 18 weeks last time, and I only wound up gaining 28 lbs. Ugh.
@devow27, I live in the GR area, so we'll be searching from Kalamazoo, to Muskegon, and Lansing. He's in research and drug design. He told me today that his boss is trying to get him into one of the other labs at their facility, which would be perfect! I won't hold my breath, but it would be nice if it worked out.
@flyingncmama I could be wrong, but I think Pfizer is still working out of Kzoo, so there would be an option. FX that his boss is able to get him another job there!
@sls your post reminded me, I'm not sure where you are located but definitely look into your local Moms of Multiples or Parents of Multiples clubs!!
You can find them through what used to be NOMTC but now a part of Multiples of America. My club isn't affiliated with nationals but some of the local ones near me are... it would be a good place to start
I breastfed but one thing to know is that if you plan brestfeed/it doesn't work out or if you just go straight to formula feeding all the major companies have huge discounts and sample packs for MoMs. Once the local Similac rep for my ped's office found out I had multiples I almost couldn't stop getting formula sent to my house and we didn't even need it! I did share it with other MoMs in my club though...
Today my twins turn(ed) 4 and I'm so sad... I just can't believe how big they are and how fast time is moving.
You hear people say it, and infant days can be soooo long you think they will never end, but you blink and your children are GROWN, ugh... happy and sad day, all rolled into one!
@delujm0 my hubs isn't a big guy either. All I could think was oh no is my weight gonna show up on his Fitbit tracker . He's not been allowed to know what I weigh thus far.
@michaela0704 Yes, it's the regional one, and they're affiliated with the national one. It seems like a great organization to get involved with! And there are a lot of dad nights/activities, too, which DH is excited about.
And good to know about formula discounts! I would love to EBF, but I couldn't produce with DD, so I'm trying not to stress too much about it. They will eat and be well either way!

Dear Diary... I woke up today and thought "Self... you deserve a coffee and giant muffin today". Then I had mom guilt so I went to Whole Foods for a decaf and an overpriced muffin, because who doesn't like paying 4x the cost for essentially the same thing as Dunkin. Now I'm broke and unsatisfied.
Ok, so I'm emotional and it's random but had to share as I'm sitting here crying like the hormonal wreck that I am... so blessed to be carrying this child and grateful for every second with him!
