@ColoradoHiker oh I know, I've been pregnant before. I had terrible nausea with my 2nd PG and some with my 1st PG, so to not have it with this one freaks me out. TW- my 2nd PG ended in a loss at 14w so I'm much more of a worry wart this time around.
The amount of discharge the last two days has been insane! Also, sore boobs that constantly change the area of soreness on a daily basis, mild cramping, headaches when I wake up and tiredness but I can not get a good nights sleep!
6w, 3d: a little bit of cramping but less than last week, headaches (but that's more due to the lack of sleep from DD1), fatigue/lack of motivation, starting to get some weird cravings.
margareth Don't worry too much. I never felt too nauseous with my first. I think around 8 weeks or so, I couldn't eat anything that had flavor (basically only plain noodles and crackers). That's the closest to nauseous as I felt. If you never get it, count yourself lucky!
@margareth, i had ZERO morning sickness with my DS and he was perfect when he was born up to now at 14 months, so don't worry! And no morning sickness yet this time around either (fingers crossed).
Cramps, fatigue, sore boobs, bloating and I am an emotional wreck. I cried pretty much the whole way through land before time, because I knew the mom was going to die and then because the mom died.
(6w2d) -Boobs are sore and have grown almost a full size -"hunger nausea" is a thing -- I get nauseous when I'm hungry but feel to crappy to eat. -The fatigue has hit big time the last 2 days. I fell asleep at 8pm last night. -Congestion! Mouth breathing is gross.

I am so incredibly exhausted. Yesterday my legs were so achy and I was just so tired after work I just laid down and didn't move, my kids had cereal for dinner. Tonight My body hurts again and I just feel kind of yucky.
Exhaustion and insomnia, some cramping, some cravings, bloating, barely feel like eating 90% of the time, and mild queasiness occasionally. Oh, and insane chills. My body seems incapable of maintaining a reasonable temperature
To those who are nervous about not having morning sickness yet, I hear ya! I finally had some nausea yesterday, triggered by being int the car, but otherwise I'm really only beginning to get the inklings of it when I go too long between eating. My sister didn't have morning sickness until 8-9 weeks in her pregnancy and has a healthy 3-year-old, so I'm trying not to worry too much! Other symptoms I'm having are sore breasts and more tired than usual. Had to go to bed an hour earlier than usual last night! But I can't say I feel super obviously pregnant just yet.

I had symptoms so early. Sore boobs and nausea at 3 weeks and vomiting at 4 weeks. Since I got the positive blood test from the doctor at 4w4d my vomiting has stopped and my nausea has been getting less and less. I'm still super tired with sore boobs and stomach cramps but the lack of sickness now after being so sick at the start is definitely worrying me. FTM so never done this before!
@k8ywagsWith my first I didn't have morning sickness until my second trimester & it couldn't tell time. I was sick at work all the time. There was one song that was popular and it was always playing on the radio and every time it came on I'd throw up. To this day I hear that song I'm nauseous.

I forgot to add, my face has been out of control! I have at least 10 pimples/scars from the last couple of weeks on my face right now. It's so awful. Haven't had a new one in a couple of days, so I'm just waiting.
I have symptoms sometimes but they come and go and aren't very strong... I got labs drawn again hcg is 7,145 and I'm probably a couple days away from 6 weeks. I know that number looks good but she wanted to do a ultrasound next Thursday to get a EDD and I'm so nervous. My anxiety is going crazy. Anyone else here have anxiety? I'm really missing my Xanx lol
I am so so tired, all I want to do is sleep. My mood swings are awful, I go from 1-10 in an instant. A little bit of nausea (but I also want to eat everything) and headaches. Also, my skin is getting irritated. I'm a little sad about that because my skin was "glowing" with my first throughout my whole pregnancy, and it was a girl.
THESE DREAMS. Holy crap I forgot how weird and vivid and involved pregnancy dreams are. There was a party at this college I was apparently going to and I saw an old flame of mine there (ugh haven't even thought about him for a while... stupid handsome jerk) anyway I wanted to take him back to my room.... So a friend and I were wandering around trying to get back to our dorm.... had to stop in the bathroom and one stall had two dead frogs on the floor so I obviously couldn't use that one so she used the one with no door while I waited for her.. so it's my turn and I'm sitting there peeing in a stall with no door (usually when I'm peeing in a dream it means I really gotta pee lol) and her boyfriend barges in and it's weird... and then the frogs on the floor start bleeding... so we head off trying to find the dorm again.. we end up in the library where people from my high school class are laying in beds reading childrens books, this girl told me to go to the staircase and walk all the way around in a big circle... there's like five staircases. So we take off on one of them and we get to this office and my friend takes a key and they lady freaks out and say she's been working there the years and has never seen us so we go back to the library and the girl tells me to get a mystery book and sit down and read it and try to solve it as fast as possible... so I end up finding the right hallway and then I race my friend and basketballs start falling out of the air. I think that is all... it was very strange...
FTM here (6w2d) and I can't believe how much the first trimester (so far) is like being legitimately sick -- definitely crappy! I know it'll be better psychologically once we all see heartbeats and feel like this is "actually happening," but for now I wake up feeling like I have the flu or a bad cold -- extremely tired and out of it, "cloudy, stuffed-up" feeling, vague headache... Also, last night I battled some pretty terrible stomach issues -- bad stomachache as if I wasn't digesting things properly. This morning my stomach felt heavy, almost like there was a bowling ball in it! Why did I sign up for a 2 1/2 hour long cooking class tomorrow?! Oh well! :-0
@Breath_Easy92: I can commiserate, as I have been feeling super anxious and I have a history of depression and anxiety (though I haven't been on medication for years now). I had a bottle of Xanax just as a back-up, and yes, it's tough not to be able to take any when the anxiety sets in. Maybe we can think of other natural ways to ease the anxiety? I did yoga yesterday (it was relaxing and mild -- called "stretch and restore") and that helped some. I think physical things help offset the mental anxiety, whether it's going on an errand, walking, doing some mild exercise... But there's no miracle solution!
@daniellelynette Yes.. I forgot about the crazy vivid dreams and getting into a deep deep sleep. I had a dream last week that one of my friends set another one of my friends on fire with vegetable oil in a car trunk...WTH?!
@AddileneRubi that's so funny! I've had some strange ones I can't remember anymore.
Im also starting to feel some tightness and stretching around my c-section scar. My incision healed well the first time but one side definitely feels like it has more scar tissue than the other. I'm nervous for my belly to get bigger... also I'm nervous about the scar in my uterus.. I'm scared about the placenta and everything they say can happen in pregnancies after cesareans..
I had to open my big mouth I started getting nauseous this morning. As much as it sucks, it did remind me of a trick that I would like to share with you ladies. My OB told me I could take Unisom and B6 at night. It was very helpful. I was so sick, so it wasn't a miracle cure by any means, but it did help some. So if, you are suffering from morning sickness, it might be worth bringing up at your next/first OB appointment.
@margareth for sure! Yoga definitely helps taking my dog on walks helps too I was going to talk to my doctor about acupuncture it really helped me through my husbands last deployment

Same here! Started feeling nauseous again this morning. I remember hearing about the unisom and B6 at night during my 2nd PG. I believe it's the same ingredients as in Diclegis (sp?), which my Dr put me on during my 2nd PG and it worked wonders!! Nausea was gone!
@Breath_Easy92 I have anxiety issues, too. My doctor approved continuing my Zoloft, but it made me uneasy so I stopped. I also kept Xanax with me in case of a panic attack.. so far my anxiety hasn't been unmanageable, but it's a constant concern of mine.

My doc also says 25mg of B6 three times a day, and unison at night. I haven't been too sick yet, so I haven't tried it, but that's my plan as well for when nausea does kick in.
Does anyone else feel really out of it all day? I feel like I'm walking in a cloud, probably because my head feels all, well, cloudy! I hate feeling out of it... makes it more of an effort to do normal day to day stuff and interact with people!

Yes! And then I go home and want to go right to sleep. I think I've passed out around 8 the past three nights. I apologized to my fiancé and he said "you're cooking a human being. I imagine that's pretty tiring".

@margareth I am totally out of it today! I wish I had the motivation to do yoga or go on a walk or something like that but I just want to become one with my couch for the rest of the night.
I had zero symptoms with my first pregnancy, but this one is definitely different. I have had really sore nipples the past two days and my gag reflex is super strong. Like not just with food. It was cold out the other day and that made me gag! It's ridiculous.
My nausea is real, but it's nowhere near as bad as with DS *yet* anyway. I did think I was going to tell the girls at work the other day thought. I was heating up some food for a patient that is family brought in for him and it smelled so gross I was gagging over it in the break room, another nurse had to bring it to his room because I couldn't handle it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing insane mood swings!! I cried the other day because I got bored!!! I feel ridiculous sometimes!
Other than that, sore boobs off and on. Very, very mild nausea. I'm tired all the time it seems and I too get super hot and then super cold and my heart will randomly start racing! (I'm sure that has a little to do with anxiety. I'm trying so hard to stay calm!)
My mood swings are out of control. I never had the wild emotions last time so to already be a short fused crazy person right now makes me feel bad for anyone who will be around me for the next 35 weeks.
Also, time to go find the tote with my maternity wear in it. I already need my bigger bras. I only went from a full A to a full B last time, then went down to a small B where I've stayed ever since. I'm already starting to bust out of my B cups though. I'll switch the ones with the longer band, but new bras might very well be in my immediate future.
The exhaustion as set in for me. I've taken 2 naps today and am just biding my time until I can go to bed!
@HollyGolightly09 I'm sorry the nausea is kicking in! Tums sometimes helped me last time and sleeping on my left side. I also nibble on some fresh ginger. I've thought about infusing a water bottle with some ginger, but I haven't tried that yet. Last go around I used ginger tea, but now I can't even stand the sight of a ginger tea bag! Keep eating small meals. Hunger nausea is the WORST! Feel better!

I had nausea last week, but read that I should be drinking way more water... which only has me in the bathroom every 20 minutes! Hard to do when you teach! I also have very sore/swollen boobs, some bloating and get tired much earlier. My skin has cleared up a lot which is a big plus as I've always had some sort of acne/redness!
