Our baby will be named Clara if she is a girl. My husband likes alliterative names, where the first and middle names start with the same letter. I know there has been some debate around here about whether that is cheesy or not, but it doesn't bother me and he really likes it. Right now we are planning on doing Clara Catherine, which I am fine with, but I don't feel 100% sold on Catherine. Can anybody think of other good middle names starting with a hard C that go with Clara? We have a very short last name, so I prefer longer middle names. Bonus points if it goes with a strong female historical or literary figure (Clara is Clara Barton)!
Thanks, everyone! I like some of these, but I think seeing a lot of other options is actually making me realize that I do like Clara Catherine more than I thought I did. I think my issue is that I really like one syllable middle names with Clara (Mae, Joy, Jane), but they sound choppy with my short last name. As longer middle names go, I think I am good with Catherine.
