@lemieuxk prayers for the health of you and your baby! I hope baby stays put for a little while longer and your doctors watch super carefully for signs of infection.
We are doing as well as we could hope. No signs of infection or labor and all of the monitoring has been looking good. Just spoke with the doctor on today and she seems optimistic we could hang in here for a while. Thanks so much for all of the support! It means a lot to me.
Just saw this since I don't bump on the weekends, but glad to see the most recent update! Hoping baby stays put for a while longer. Sending positive vibes your way
Thinking of you and baby @lemieuxk! Stay in there, baby! It sounds like you are in good hands, whenever your little one decides to come. Please keep us updated when you can!
Thinking of you @lemieuxk and hope all is still ok! When I had pprom with my twins, I remember the mfm telling me in her experience almot all babies are then born within 8 days. But the small percentage that make it beyond 8 days often make it a very long time, months even. Prayers that you and baby stay healthy and baby's lungs have plenty of time to mature!
Good Morning! Update is that there's no update, which is great news. I'm trying to settle into a routine of hospital life and keeping my legs crossed super hard. The goal is to make it to 34 weeks, at which point I would be induced. That happens to be 1/1, which would be fitting given the dumpster fire of a year 2016 has been. 24 days to go, but I'm grateful for literally every day she stays in. Her NSTs have been "textbook" and I've had no signs of active labor.
@FreshBakedBrownies I keep reading/hearing different stats about that. My team has said that most people go into labor within 48 hours, I found a scholarly article that said 50 to 75% deliver within a week. Not sure if all that takes into account people who are far enough along that they just induce? I can be a numbers geek so I'm trying to focus on the fact that my situation will be what it will be regardless of the numbers so I don't obsess
Anyone here have bed rest experience and ideas on how to maintain your sanity? TV recommendations? They are allowing my dog to come visit tonight and I'm embarrassingly excited about it.
Glad to hear that there is no update! I hope it stays that way for a while
I don't have any bed rest experience but I do watch a lot of TV haha. If you have Netflix and Hulu, I can make some recommendations. We just started watching both Chance and Shut Eye on Hulu and they seem like they will be really good. On Netflix I think they have all of Dexter and How To Get Away With Murder, which I really enjoyed both. And of course, all 10 seasons of Friends
That is so exciting that they are letting your pooch visit! I'm sure that will be so nice and lift your spirits!
@lemieuxk no news is great news!! I'm glad things are stable!
I am still a kid and love game shows... if I was on bed rest, I'd be a pro at the price is right!!! I was watching it at the gym the other day, and this lady spun the wheel, got a dollar so got to spin again. She was soooo close to winning all that money but missed and I was like awwww... out loud lol it was embarrassing.
@lemieuxk just curious, but are they giving her steroid shots? I'm glad that every thing is stable with you and baby. Fingers crossed for 24 more days on the inside!!!
@lemieuxk I'm so glad she's staying put. Keep those legs crossed! If you have Netflix I recommend Young and Hungry (it is funny, stupid and short. but highly entertaining) Baby daddy and if you want something more serious, I just started The Crown and I'm really enjoying it! Supernatural is a good binge if you like things a little scary and lots of sarcasm.

If you have Amazon Prime Dr Who is fantastic.
Keep cooking that baby and STAY OFF GOOGLE!
Also, ditto on game shows! I would totally rock Family Feud if I ever went on it lol.
