I'm not sure yet (looking for inspiration in this thread). Gift certificates are always good. I love places like Ulta and Sephora, so I'd love anything from there. New cutting boards, pots & pans (boring). New hair styling tools (straightener, hair dryer?).
All I wanted was a better bed. DH and I decided to make it our Christmas gift to each other. My parents pitched in as our Christmas gift from them. I ordered our mattress after 16+ hours of research and going back and forth between several brands. We ordered our Luxi Sleep tonight for $200 off with their Black Friday sale. It may be all I get for Christmas, but I don't care. I am so sick of our bed and cannot wait to have something better!

A painting for above our mantel and makeup. I have been wanting a painting since we moved in to our home 2 years ago but we always need something else more urgently. I don't want much of anything else so I am hoping this is when I get one, although DH and I have talked about getting a kitchen dining set so we will see.

Anymore it's hard to think of things I want for myself, but I think this year I'd love a bath set (fizzies, bubbles, salts, etc) and a nice cotton robe...I'm not a fan of the big fuzzy ones. Otherwise, I just want to make Christmas extra special for my toddler.
H and I don't buy gifts for each other, but I want to treat myself to the spa. I live in a Pennsylvania town with the most incredible spa - I wish I could give a hint, but the town is pretty easy to figure out - and I've only been to the spa once (before my wedding) because a half day of treatments are about $400. It's so amazing, though. I probably won't do it because I'm too frugal, but I really want to! Maybe I'll just go for 1 treatment.
I also want my filthy dog hair car detailed, but I'll wait until closer to the baby's arrival. (Who am I kidding, I'll probably just clean it myself - these are the money arguments I have with myself in my head!)

Quilt fabric, a quilt pattern, books and a boppy lounger for this new babe. maybe a electric tooth brush. I live an exciting life lol. I still have two spa finder gc from last year so Im not asking for that stuff. I just used my gap gc from last Christmas yesterday too. I'm a gc hoarder
I'm telling everyone I want a massage. Hoping for multiple gift cards.
Plus if Audi/Volkswagen ever gets their asses in gear I can sell back my car and buy myself something pretty and German around Christmas time so I'm pretty content with that.
H and I don't buy each other gifts, we will usually take trips and create memories for our celebrations. We will be entering escrow in a house on Monday so no December trip this year and that's fine with me! After renovations, I hope to be nesting in my new house!
This time of year gets so expensive! DH birthday is Dec 14, Christmas, plus our anniversary. We got really great deals on an iPad Air 2 ($249) and a 60 in Smart TV ($499!!) at the PX so we are decided we are done for Christmas. We are just so excited for DD (2) to open her gifts. This is her first year she is really into Christmas.
A new (to me) SUV. I am getting one in the spring though. Umm...I'd love a roomba, can't decide if I want just the vacuum kind or just the mop kind though. I want it for our downstairs which is all tile (Arizona life).
@nda_roxybabe - What SUV are you getting? And, how many children will you need it to accommodate? We've aren't quite ready to upgrade, but have been browsing.
Completely undecided. I cannot think of a single thing I want. Hubby and I are just doing small gifts this year...money is tight and I had to fork over $400 to process his elk because there is no way I'm doing it, being pregnant. I'm sure I'll come up with something I want. Hopefully this thread will give me inspiration
So far I asked for some nice make up, a stackable birthstone ring, and a pretty necklace from Etsy. DH is asking for more ideas, so I'm hoping to get some inspiration from here!

@emilyalso Most likely another Jeep. I have a Grand Cherokee right now (my 2nd Grand, 4th Jeep :O!), but need a much newer year.
I really like the Chevy Traverse and it's 3rd row seating, but H isn't a fan and Dad said they're not good maintenance wise...This is baby #1 for us. We WILL be having a #2, H just hasn't entirely been convinced of this yet We don't have much family we typically haul around so just the 2nd row should be fine, but I love a 3rd row option for the nieces or future friends. Though I figure by the time there's future friends I can be onto another new car.
I also like the VW Touareg (H drives a Passat), but for that price I could almost get my dream Audi Q7 or Range Rover. I kind of refuse to drive anything but an SUV. I like sitting up high as possible and I like the bigger (but not huge) size. It makes me feel safer and H feels a bit safer for me.
Just read everyone's again. I added a robe, breastfeeding nightgown (bfing didn't go so well last time, but thinking positive!), and an electric toothbrush.

@nda_roxybabe which Grand Cherokee? My husband wants one but is being a total diva about the differents trims (Overland, Summit, etc)
Also FWIW with the 3rd row option in those midsize SUVs the storage in the back is kind of miserable. We looked at some with that feature and fitting more than a stroller back there with the 3rd row in use would be a huge PITA.
We are renovating our master bedroom and bath right now and I'd love new sheets and a duvet for it. Other than that, a new winter hat and glove set would be nice.

We did this last year and it was one of the BEST decisions we've ever made--seriously. A new bed is like heaven. We still talk about how much better we sleep, etc. It's SO worth being you only gift, especially while pregnant.
@pshaortao , congrats on submitting the offer!! Hopefully you hear back quickly. Getting a house is SO exciting and definitely a fab holiday gift!
@mrsrep123 , congrats on the near closing of your house!!
My Christmas list was short this year--a new coat and new boots, both of which I picked out. And I've been sending along stocking stuffer ideas to DH over the last few days--a new planner (I'm still old school with a paper planner), new marker pens, cute key chain, new wallet, Philosophy body wash (on sale right now at Nordstrom for $12!). I also bought myself some pajama bottoms with pockets. I remember really loving those during my maternity leave last time because I could shove bottles, pacifiers, my phones, etc in my pockets and still carry baby around. I wanted new slippers and a new robe, but couldn't find any I really loved.
I know a couple people mentioned robotic vacuums. If anyone still needs a gift idea, I strongly second that one. My husband and I bought each other an iLife for Christmas. We've only been using him for a week, but I'm in love. We named him Pete, and he finds all the dust and dog hair. I don't know how he does it, but it's amazing. We went with the iLife V3 because it's geared towards hardwood floors and pet hair, plus it's only $150 (half the cost of the cheaper roombas). I've just been moving him around the house on a daily basis, and his bin is full everytime. I just wish he could do stairs.
@starphish18 does he also work on carpet? I'd love one but our lover level ias about half and half and our upper level is carpet. Pet hair is the bane of my existence even though I have a short-haired dog!
@ShadeofGreen816 We do have a large area rug, and it works on it. I think if the carpet is thicker, it wouldn't work as well. Also, there are varieties of robotic vacuums that are more suited to carpet, too, so that might be worth looking into finding one that is good for both. I can see that ours picks up surface material on the rug, but I'm not sure that it picks up dirt as well, seeing that it doesn't have a rotating brush on the bottom. It just has suction and these little spinning arms that shovels "food" into it's mouth.
I love the personification of the vacuum. It's awesome. It's too late for Christmas but we'll have to look into one. Putting a baby on the floor seems awful knowing how dirty our carpets probably are!
