I really hope this does not become a new pattern. I got up for my usual nightly pee break, and apparently my body decided that 26 weeks is the week where I no longer need sleep.
So far, its been nearly an hour. I peed, and then got resituated in the snoogle. 10 minutes later I don't like that side. Flip again. Still awake, do some kegels. Think about listing appointment tomorrow. Think about breakfast tomorrow. Mmm food, I am a little hungry. Nah, I really need to just sleep! Dean has a dance party. Alright fine, I'll get some mozzarella. Get blinded by the fridge light. Eat cheese, consider watching Dirty Dancing. Go back to bed.
I was up peeing around 4 am but hadn't logged into TB.
Its now 6:30 and DS and I are up for the day.... normally it wouldn't bother me so much but we all spent our time at the ER with DS until 11:30 pm. His antibiotic for his sinusitis hasn't been effective and he was really bloated and throwing up which had him crying.
Turns out out the meds were not a strong enough dose and once he let out a nuclear fart, he felt a 1000x times better. Good times!

Ugh - up for an hour and a half and can't back to sleep! I have never had insomnia in my life - I can sleep anywhere anytime - I guess except when I'm 26 weeks preggo
I can't sleep either. I have some stuff stressing me out, and it seems like the middle of the night is always when I've been doing the most stressing. Ugh
I did finally manage to drift off for 2 1/2 more hours last night, but not until after I watched the entirety of dirty dancing, started feeling nauseous and realized I forgot my diclegis before bed. I really hope this up 3 hours at night thing doesn't become a pattern before the baby is even here!
Thank God I don't have insomnia but I wake up all the time now to pee or because my legs are cramping. I'm so tired I've dozed off on the toilet several times. Third trimester is intense and it's just the beginning!
I was up all night due to eating dinner way too late and getting horrible acid reflux. By my third trip to the bathroom and getting no relief from six tums, I spiralized my snoogle and finally was able to fall asleep for real in a semi-reclined position.
I've haven't gotten up to pee a single time this pregnancy, but one of the dogs will wake me up to give them water at least once a night. And LO likes to have karate practice around 3am each night. So I'm sure I will be frequenting this thread quite often.
Frequency of getting up to pee has been out of control lately. I went from 2-3 pees a night (haha "pees") to 5-6. Then last night, the dog decided to puke at 2:30am. Couldn't get back to sleep for a while after that - but, oh, I did pee three times.
it's 5:40 am and my son was up all night. He's so congested he can't even lie down. He's been sleeping on the recliner with me but we've both been up every hour.
This is never ending.... I'm so tired. If I wasn't pregnant, this would be a 10 coffees kinda day.

Last night was rough... I was pretty exhausted so I fell asleep quickly enough. But then I had to get up to be at 3 am. So I do, and lay back down. It took about 30 minutes to fall back asleep which isn't terrible, except I woke right back up at 4:30 with a charlie horse in my calf.
I felt extra bad about that, because DH had to get up at 4:45 and I woke him up saying oww and attempting to get myself out of bed to stretch it out (side note: getting trapped in the snoogle in the dark with a leg cramp is horrible. I can no longer trust the snoogle). After that it was another restless hour listening to him get ready and out the door, before I fell asleep for the 30 minutes before my alarm went off.
I feel like a zombie at my desk today, and I'm starting to worry I'm going to have a very hard time adjusting to a newborn sleep schedule.
I still take my Unisom and B6 combo because I puke if I skip it. But it helps with the night time. I still wake up eleventy times a night to pee but fall back to sleep quickly.
Wide awake at 4:30 am after waking up to pee again. I'm at a hotel tonight and was so exhausted I thought I would get a good night sleep, but I do miss my snoogle! It's not the same to sleep with a pile of pillows that I need to reposition if I want to change sides once my hips hurt
My upper back is killing me. It's so painful, I don't know what to do with myself. My boobs and bump both got bigger this last week and I'm so so uncomfortable. I think I'm going to need to look into a belly support band.

Anybody up tonight? Fell asleep early, and woke up to pee. I went to take my nightly meds, but felt nauseous, so popped a Zofran and am waiting for it to kick in. Watching Gilmore Girls and now my stomach is growling. Now I will need food and my meds.
Also, just thinking about my dog. My older kids were crying with me at bedtime, and I don't even know what to tell them. This sucks. (sorry, Debbie Downer here)

Hope you've fallen back asleep @Partyof6?...the sad stories about dogs on Facebook have really pulled on my emotions this pregnancy. Dogs are such a vital part of my family and it's hard to imagine a life without them. Unexpected loss is never easy, but humans don't deserve dogs which, in turn, makes unexpected loss of a dog that much harder. I'm sorry you've experienced this...I hugged my dogs a little harder tonight in honor of yours.
I was also up last night... we decided to pack up and start our drive last night, to limit car time today. We do that almost every year, but last night we ended up leaving just before 10.
We drove for about two hours, stopped at two different hotels, only to discover we had randomly stopped in a town that is apparently hosting some sort of marine graduation celebration thingy and all the decent hotels are full. We are in the middle of back woods nowhere, but in our many years of making this trip this has never happened before.
Finally we got a room around 12:30.
Showers, fall asleep around 1-ish.
At 3:15, my phone starts loudly ringing across the room. By the time I disentangle from the snoogle and go to turn it off, it stops. Then immediately starts again. So I send it to voicemail, where some random drunk dude leaves a message calling me "butter pats" (WTH kind of endearment is that?). Then immediately calls TWO more times. So on call 4 I answer and very angrily tell him he's got the wrong number.
Thanks guys, it was funny, not long after I posted that, my 5 year old wandered in. She couldn't sleep and decided she was hungry. So in her footie elf pajamas, she came down with me while I had a bowl of cereal and snuggled next to me back upstairs to go to sleep. If any of my kids are intuitive or psychic, it's that one. I swear she woke up because something in her knew I was sad.

It's 2:30am here and I was scrolling through the Internet after peeing for the millionth time when find a new baby name I love just as much as I love the name I've had chosen since week 11. Now I feel conflicted and sad because I love both names so much. Life is hard.
Eta: I meant "peeing" rather than "peeling" because "peeling" for the millionth time would be disgusting.
Oh man, @LivingLaVidaGinger, I get that, but I have to laugh, because we still have no clue about a name for ours, so I am kind of jealous of you having more names than you need.
I am just a girl, up eating cereal in the middle of the night, again. I wish something heartier sounded good, but this is about what I can tolerate right now. We were at a birthday party tonight, so dinner was just a slice of pizza, and I fell asleep too early to eat when we got home and got the kids to bed.

4:30 seems to be the time I wake up to pee. I thought I would fall right back asleep but baby girl has decided now is a good time for a dance party - kicking me right in the cervix! I keep moving myself around hoping to get her to move positions because it's such an uncomfortable place to be kicked!
@LivingLaVidaGinger any chance the names can be used together as first and middle name? I think we are finally down to two name options but my husband keeps saying he doesn't want to "commit" to one yet

That's so sweet @Partyof6? Kids can be so intuitive.
Little kids in footie pajamas are the sweetest though! ❤️
