Re: Weekly Randoms (10/2)

  • @Xstatic3333 I really like the thread that S16 and O16 did!! The O16 one has 20 something pages and the pictures are awesome. Also, a lot of the ladies posted what they wore and where it was from if anyone needs inspiration

  • @raptormomma I've been wanting to get mine pierced! I'm a sucker for piercings and tattoos. I've ended up taking a lot of my piercings out, though :(
  • @jbuck909 tattoos are so addicting! I want another one after this LO comes out. I think I convinced my SIL to go get it done with me

  • I'm debating getting my nose pierced again. My time hop had an old picture with it and I miss it
The ones in the side or the middle?

On the side! I had a little stud but I actually like the little hoops too.

I plan to get re pierced once this kiddo is out of the grabbing shiny objects/ pulling my hair phase.
  • @raptormomma I talked my sister into a small stud on the side, because I think they are cute but I don't have the nose for it lol.  I like most all nose rings... but confession? I don't like hoops in the eyebrows... eek don't get me guys :o

  • @GlitterDragon I'll definitely switch to a little stud once this baby can grab things

@kswiger06 I'm not an eyebrow with piercings fan either!

@raptormomma I miss my nose piercing too! I had to take it out for a job years ago and think about getting it done again all the time!
  • I was tired today and didn't do dishes or feel like cooking = super easy food lol... I just couldn't believe he actually ate all that.

Try it! You have to give it a lttle time to get used to it on your face though lol. I mostly wear a stud but I like a hoop sometimes when I'm feeling sassy. I like it but H hates it so much!
  • I only wear a stud in my nose. DH likes the hoop in me, but I feel like I'm not bad ass enough to pull it off.
  • @AfKash glad your shower went well & wasnt stressful!
  • @tishb I'm the same with my nose ring. I just wear a stud but DH wants me to wear a hoop and I just don't think I can pull it off.

  • From what I remember, bmb's used to create their birth announcements threads 2 months prior. It seems like bmb's are starting them a lot earlier now.

  • I was just thinking about this the other day. The other BMBs have at least one baby born like mid 20 weeks.  Hopefully no one has to go through that, but it's a little unnerving thinking about it.
  • @PerraSucia You just made my morning! I'm just getting caught up from the craziness and that made me LOL. :joy:

I think most start them once there's been a birth. Which I'd be very much good with, and hopefully won't be for a lonnnngggg time.

January posted their birth announcements thread already. :open_mouth:

I'M NOT READY FOR THIS YET.
I hope we don't have to post one in there for a VERY long time.  It makes me so nervous!!

Viability day is such a huge emotional threshold for me. I can't believe I'm already half way and some are reach viability day.

     PAIF/SAIF/PAL/SAL welcome!

  • Yes please, let's not start our thread until there's actually been a birth or until January, which ever comes sooner.  I saw January's thread a few days ago and it freaked me out!

    Also, when is viability day?

  • @AfKash when your inside baby can make it as an outside baby. I normally don't consider this until 27 weeks when your baby has a 90% chance of making it.
  • Yea I looked it up a few days ago. Medically it's 24 weeks because the baby has a 50% chance to live and it's the time when doctors will do what they can to try and save it. However many people do consider it 27weeks since the chance of survival is so much higher.
