DH was feeling super guilty about being so excited about having a boy that he went and bought DD a bunch of sticker/coloring books... It was so cute! lol.
So it was just confirmed that my fiancé's parents will not be in the state when our baby is born. They go to Florida every year for a week but since they've been retired for a year, they no go for a month. Mid Feb - mid March. It kind of sucks and I feel bad for my fiancé because this is his (and my) first baby. His sisters are done having kids. Plus his mom has been up his butt about having kids forever since he's the only boy. And they are the ones that will be doing the most babysitting. I'm not thrilled with it but I imagine he's pretty upset about it
Alright fellow Team Green mama's I need your strength! I am starting to doubt my decision but only because we cannot agree on any boy or girl names! We have never had this much trouble. I realize that we still have a ways to go but I'm pretty sure DH wants to find out. I just feel like it would be easier if I gave in...
Even knowing we were having our second boy, we didn't have a name until 3 weeks before he was born. We've done both ways of knowing and not knowing. There are benefits to both. We are team green this time and I get tempted to but have yet to experience my "it's a girl" or "it's a boy" moment so I'm holding out this time. With my DD I was emergency c section and completely under and then overheard about my girl as I was waking up. Took me awhile to get over that one as it was the one thing I had planned out in my head for delivery.
Whenever I can't decide what to eat, I look at our food threads and suddenly have all the cravings! Making @WinchesterGirl's cornbread recipe tomorrow!!!
@jlellis603 that sucks, is there no way they could push it back to early March - early April?
Yeah I feel bad for my fiancé . I don't think they can, I think usually book the house they stay at a year in advance. Maybe I'll go early and they'll at least be there for the birth
@jlellis603 I understand how you and he may feel. My in laws are older (FIL is 86) and live a few hours away. Even that close, I know they won't be traveling down to see us when baby is born and we'll need to come to them. I have no idea when I'll feel okay to travel and get up to them, but it makes me sad they won't be around shortly after the birth.
What's your method of grooming your nether region? I always shaved. Have for the last ~20 years. It's proving to be quite difficult now.
I almost posted about this last night. I mean WTF, I'm not that far along but I can no longer see down there without some serious effort!!! For my last pregnancy I still shaved, but blindly. I just remembered it as being difficult only towards the end.
@imalwaysme79 I wax - I've been getting brazilians so long they don't really bother me anymore - but since I've been pregnant they have been absolute torture! Although it is so nice to have some one else handle it for you so I'll stick with it (prob start getting my legs waxed too once shaving becomes too difficult)
I've dealt with it by never dealing with it. Since my husband and my care providers can always expect a bush down there, there are no surprises now that shaving would be impossible.
I got waxed for my wedding, because I was very concerned my bush would be visible through my dress. I was... not happy with the results. I asked for the bush equivalent of "a little off the top" and ended up with a mohawk down there. Never went back.
@Gretchypoo I mean, if I were going to dye it, I would have gone lavender to match my wedding colours. You never want your bush to clash with your wedding colour scheme. Tres gauche, darling.

@PerraSucia #truth
Target had Pumpkin Spice Errythang today. This was only one small section. I didn't take multiple pics to get it all, but made sure to get the PSC!
Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up.
