TTC After a Loss

Re: ****september two week wait***

  • @chloe97 Temps usually go up the later you temp (even during sleep). Whenever I've temped earlier than usual, I get lower temps. Also, I totally get your logic. It's kind of "this happened the same way before, how could the outcome be any different?". I felt that during my second MC. I hope you get the BFN if it will help your anxiety.

  • @chloe97 if a BFN will help with your anxiety and overall mental health then I hope that's what you get but if you do get a BFP I'll be praying for a healthy, sticky embryo <3

AFM - I still haven't managed to get a temp of 98* or higher. I'm wondering if this is a sign of weak ovulation/lower progesterone. Also the last two cycles I could pinpoint exactly when I was ovulating due to O pain but this month I was just PMS type crampy for 2 days. I guess I'll just count my blessings that today (7dpo) my temps went up again a little (0.1) usually by this time I've peaked and am starting my descent.

@SoonToBeMommaHowe I think it also could be a sign of high estrogen? Did you get a 7Dpo progesterone draw? My temps are the lowest they've been in the LP as well. Still hovering around 98.2. Usually by 8 Dpo, they hit 98.5. I think I've had too much estrogen this cycle because my migraine have been out of control!

Eta I just used the chart overlay function in FF and the temps are actually in the same neighborhood as they were the last cycle I got pregnant. I didn't have that weird dip, but they stayed around 98.1-98.2 in the LP. Eek.

  • @chloe97 I've been using the chart overlay function with the chart from
when I got pregnant the past two days bc the crazies are starting. I only had a .09 dip today on 7DPO when usually I have a .2-.3 drop. I checked the past 3 cycles and they all had the bigger drop, so who knows what this tiny drop means. Come onnnnn, test day Tuesday!
  • @chloe97 I didn't do the blood draw because I figured after I confirmed it two cycles ago now I can just confirm through temps but now I'm thinking maybe I should have. Who knows! Hmm I have never hit 98.5, I'd be on fire!! Lol I must be an ice queen or something.

As for the chart overlay...are you doing ok!? Does that make you even more anxious?? Hope you're alright!

Here I am ever so slowly creeping up....
**Notice how I hit up DH for BD 5x in 5 days and then nothing for four! Poor guy...such a tease for him and then I was like eh "we're done with with FW" :D

  • I officially get to move over here! I got my ch today on FF and am 3dpo. I O'd on cd19....so will I test two weeks from my o date on cd33? I guess I'm confused this time as to when to test and expect AF.
  • So I realized that my AF is due the 24-15, and my first RE appointment is the 26th. When I schedule the appointment 2.5 months ago I didn't realize how awful the timing would be. It was the first appointment they had available, and my af days got all mixed up. Number 16482 of things I have been worrying about this last month. Which, of course, is why my mom swears I don't have children.....
  • @Cmckenzie I wouldn't worry. The first RE appt is actually a consult usually and they will have you come in CD 2/3 for bloodwork, so you actually are perfectly timed! Usually they do an HSG around cd 6-11, but I didn't get a ultrasound at all. I'm not sure if that's different for me bc I'm only dealing with RPL and not IF. Hopefully that calms your worries and OMG that is so rude of your mom to say. Worrying does not cause IF, no matter what stupid people say.
  • I'm with PP @Cmckenzie, I work with an RE and our first visit was really a consult, medical history and going over what tests we would need to do.

AFM, I have horrible PMS symptoms and think I am going to loose my damn mind.  Strong lower back pain, my right ovary/side is pulsing (something stronger than O twinges), and I am ever so slightly nausea.  I feel like it could be signs of AF maybe because I am already CD22 but O'd Tuesday.  I want to lay on a heating pad so bad but I know that isn't a good idea in the TWW...
  • @Cmckenzie that may work in your favor actually. They can get any labs they want sooner and maybe can squeeze you in for any hsg or saline sono a week later. Not sure how quick your RE works. I saw mine the first time on cd9 and he got me in the next day for my saline sono since the timing worked to avoid waiting another month.  Good luck!

  • @cmckenzie - My First RE visit was an office consult too. They told me I had to wait to get my AF to do any further testing so like pp's have said it actually might be pretty well timed. One last things to worry about! lol I'm a worrier by nature too and hate it when people say that.
  • @Cmckenzie I agree with PP your timing will most likely workout and you won't have to wait another cycle to get your labs done. Good luck at the RE :)

  • @SoontobeMommaHowe If I'm remembering correctly, TCOYF talks about how the absolute temperatures don't matter all that much. It's the rise that really matters. I think it said that you want at least 0.5 degrees rise after O, preferably close to 1 degree (at peak post-O). You're close to that. Beyond that, everyone has their own baseline for temps, so I wouldn't worry too too much since you have a clear shift indicating O. As an aside, though, low temps can also be caused by hypothyroidism.
  • Well it's been grand ladies, but CD 1 in this neck of the woods so I'm headed back over to WTO. I will be stalking and hoping to see some BFPs this month.

Yeah, me neither because that would be BSC.

Sigh 2 more days of POAS and hopefully I'm done, one way or the other. My temp will not do its second spike this month. I have no idea what's going on there.

  • Definitely guilty of the HPT stare down! Hopefully the next two days will give you a clearer answer @chloe97

  • @soontobemommahowe @chloe97 you girls are making it so hard to not test early! AFM, I had an almost .2 temp drop this am at 9 DPO, but looking at my chart from when I got pregnant that also happened at 10 DPO then it went back up. But it could also mean nothing and that this chart is just totally different as it doesn't look like my past AF charts. I think it's official- the BSC has set in.
