Our crib arrived today and it's sitting next to my bed pretty much ready to go. Also, due to complications I discussed elsewhere, I am now planning on taking my full "mother protection" maternity leave, which starts on September 2nd. That's like barely more than 6 weeks from now Also going to call the midwife this week to schedule my post-partum care! Eek!
Did our hospital tour and registration yesterday! Made me realize I really need to get that hospital bag packed, but otherwise made me feel more ready and prepared!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
We have birthday celebrations at work once a month where everyone brings delicious food to share. I was sitting there this morning thinking I won't be able to enjoy all this food anymore if I end up with GD after Friday. Then I realized I will only be here for 2 more of them anyway. Woah.
(our only October birthday in the office is the end of the month so I should have definitely had a baby by then!)

I've been avoiding the nursery/our bedroom. We'll have him in our room in a pack and play for a while, so I need to do some rearranging and probably going to send some stuff from our room into his to make room. I think when that gets done, our sprinkle happens on Aug 13, and the pack and play is up in our room, it will start to feel much more real.
Oh, and when we finally decide what to name him lol.
Countdown to Baby H! Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
We have a stand up shower. I think last night was the last time I could shave my legs bending over in awkward positions.
ha... not sure how big yours is, but ours is small enough to where I can stand in one corner and put my foot up in the other corner with my leg out to the side a little (avoiding belly interaction). I've found that method most successful thus far lol

A friend of mine from college who was due a couple weeks before me just had her baby last weekend!!!! The baby is doing okay, but she'll have to stay in the NICU until her due date.
@NicholeL16 - We got the same for our DS from a friend - I've pretty much never had to buy clothes for him... It has saved us so much money!!!!
@mizzkbrat I am terrified of getting waxed, I'd thought about it before but chickened out, it just seems like it would hurt too bad! Maybe not legs, but Brazilian is a scary thought to me!
I don't think I could ever do a Brazillian. I had an ER nurse once tell me that she had a patient come in after a Brazillian (granted it wasn't a professional, the girl had her sister do it) and the girl ended up with a 2 inch tear in her labia - it needed stitches!! So I am forever turned off lol.

Well now I'm definitely not getting one! That sounds awful! There's gonna be enough going on down there in about 2 months.

I can't live without my Brazillian. I was scared I had to stop when I got pregnant! It's just an all around nice feeling from front to back...once it's over.

Sounds like that girl went somewhere shady. You should always be picky about where you go to get your cha cha waxed.
I used to to always get brazilians, then got to pay to come in and started shaving. But yeah, I can't see it anymore. And my manager kept teasing me to just come in and do it already. I'm caving to the peer pressure. Lol
@AllyTheKid I have zero pain tolerance, but I love my Brazilians. I mean, it doesn't feel good, but it's not as bad as people say. And if you have someone good, it goes by real quick. My manager is crazy fast.
My dad's salon and day spa does Brazillians and once, one of his employees told me about this girl who left crying before they finished because she was so sensitive. I decided, then, that I would not ever get a Brazillian done and @Kaytee1087's story just solidified that.
I also am puzzled by the logistics. So many creases and folds?? Also that's a lot of spreading and touching? Edit: Also unflattering positions/ flexibility seem like they would be required and for those reasons I'm out.
Nope. No crazy positions. I literally lie on a table in a butterfly position with my legs (I will say the longer the hair the worse it hurts so may sure you trim it down before your first try!) the waxer I go to will put a baby powder type substance down, then the wax. One two three pull and she immediately puts her hand down on the spot to ease the pain. She will go over all areas once then does a clean up round (which by that time you're numb) Not gonna lie, I'm jumpy and my legs jump when she pulls the wax, but it's nothing unusual to them. Then she she is ready for my backside I hug my knees to my chest (not sure what the next position is now that my bump is in full effect and getting harder and harder to do) two strips in the butt crack and done!
It hurts. Not gonna lie. But man the first time you wipe your butt and feel how clean it is, it's worth it.
I don't even do the backside. My manager gets as much as she can from the front and then I call it a day. Not because it hurts, that part actually doesn't hurt, but I just don't care enough. Lol
the butt hurts far less. I am overweight and hold up my belly and lie butterfly and she does her thing. she even does my legs simultaneously. I love my waxer lol
try european wax center, the wax hurts so much less

Yah the butt doesn't bother me at all.
And I second European wax center!!
And now I feel like y'all know way more about me than you really need to know. Haha
