  • I'm 8 dpiui and don't feel too much. It's like a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing because there is no symptom spotting, a bad thing because I'm wondering if it worked this month or not. I did get my progesterone level back and it looks good so no supplementation necessary. I just have to not go insane until Friday when I test.

  • This is our first cycle actually trying since our MMC at 20 weeks and it's killing me! I hate how much I feel like I'm banking on getting pregnant. My due date is coming up end of August and I keep thinking how I'd be able to cope so much better with this day knowing that I was pregnant with our Rainbow Baby. I wish I didn't put this much pressure on myself! What's everyone doing to try not to drive themselves crazy for the next two weeks? We're having a big 4th of July party here tomorrow! Trying to enjoy as much Summer Shandy as I can, since I wasn't planning on drinking any this summer!

  • @kmkremp7 Hello, welcome. I'm very sorry for your loss. My EDD is also at the end of August. Don't have many coping techniques that work, except trying to keep my mind and body occupied by learning complicated new things. That works pretty well from CD1 to about 6 DPO and then things get pretty topsy-turvy.

@Wishilivedinflorida I hear you on the SS! Yesterday I was 5dpo and I was like I am totally nauseous so I am totally KU!! Haha not that it could of been the lack of lunch, working out and or the heat! Haha!

  • And I'm officially out, no surprise there, especially because we suspect I'm not truly ovulating (just enough of a surge to turn OPK positive for all of an hour basically). BFN this am followed by spotting. So I guess I'm CD1 as per doctors orders. FX for all of you!

I am out for sure-- AF showed her ugly cranky face this morning. I'm completely ok with this as our timing was accidental as I've not had an AF since my d&c. So cheers to AF, new cycles and getting back on the TTC crazy train. And these BFPs make me SO HAPPY!

    TW - BFP results

I did some research on Wondfos last night and read somewhere they're 25 mIU.(SP proudly touts itself at 10 mIU.) On SP's directions, they state they can work before a missed period, whereas Wondfo's directions say they work best the day after a missed period. However, on my first testing, Wondfo showed a quicker second line that has since stayed visible, whereas SP barely showed a positive line that's now basically invisible. Anyway, just found that interesting!

  • @brooklyngirl18 I think FF is correct and you're having a slowish rise pattern. A couple more temps should help for clarity. Are you taking any ibuprofen or Tylenol for the UTI pains? That can cause a depressed temp.

Even though I think I'm 8dpo, FF says I'm 10dpo so I POAS. BFN obv, what is wrong with me?
  • Thanks @Wishilivedinflorida today's temp is 97.9 so I think you're right and I'm having a slow rise pattern this month.

nothing wrong with you, I would do the same exact thing. Back away slowly from the pee sticks and try again tomorrow.

  • @brooklyngirl18 I agree with @Wishilivedinflorida. It looks like you're having a slow rise pattern. I have had them the last few months after my loss but never had them before.

As for me, I pretty much know I'm out this month and should probably head back to WTO. I just hope af comes ASAP because I'm going out if town with DH the end of this week and don't want hellish cramps during our road trip. It sucks because I had a great triphasic chart this cycle

So, after another round of POAS this morning, the lines are ever so slightly darker, but still nowhere near the control line. I was freaking out a bit that this could be another CP, but then Dr. Google stepped in to save the day. I know all women have a different "starting hcg level", which is why some get BFPs right out of the gate while the rest of us have to wait it out. Luckily, this morning I found an "Implantation Doubling Simulator" that takes your last MP and ovulation date and basically tells you what your hcg level would be based on day of implantation. Reasonably, I'm probably still under 20, so I'm trying to get out of my own head and just see what tomorrow's round of sticks say. I should have no problem getting a beta drawn tomorrow, too, so hopefully that will help calm the crazy.

@MissPrint1219 congratulations, and FX for good beta results! My first BFP was extremely light. I tested again a week later, and it was as dark as the control line. I'm thinking that's the norm when you start testing early.

Happy Fourth of July to those in the US! Quick BBT question for you:
I went to bed at 1am last night (gotta love holiday weekends), and woke up at 6:30 when DH took the dog out. I never breathe through my mouth, but I'd been sleeping with my mouth partially open. I took my temp and it was 97.5. I went back to sleep until 9, tried again, and it was 98.3. What temp would you go with?

I'll mention that yesterday I was also 98.3 at 9am. Weekdays I typically temp at 7:30am, after 7-8 hours of sleep. Weekends it's somewhat later, but usually after the same amount of sleep.

  • @shae86 I would stick with the original temp so that you don't give yourself a false spike. The second temp is only after 2.5 hours of sleep, so is likely to be less reliable. Temps normally go up throughout the day, so it's not odd to see an increase later in the morning.
  • @shae86 I would also go with the first one. Generally speaking, I always do, even though I'm a restless sleeper who pees a lot, gets up at different times and sometimes sleeps with my mouth open.
