@mjolk with my first pregnancy I instantly thought boy! Hours after finding out I was pregnant, I just kept thinking its a boy, and I ended up with a boy.
This is time I keep thinking girl, but not sure if it's because we already have a boy and it would be nice to get a girl this time around. I've always picture myself as a boy mom though so I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if it was another boy. It'll be fun to find out in a few months the sex of this baby!
@KarliQ88 that's a completely rational thing to be afraid of since your family went through it. I'd say that as long as it isn't negatively affecting your experience, it's all probably normal. Hopefully doing research and taking classes will help prepare you. Sometimes to calm my nerves I think about things that make me happy in regards to babies. I love thinking of names or going shopping for itty bitty baby clothes just to get excited. Seriously, go hold a newborn onesie and try not to melt.

So true! I was at target and almost in tears over the baby socks and how cute they were.

Cute....yes!! Practical and easy to keep on...no way!
FTM here. My bras are beginning to get tight. My hubby even noticed that the girls are looking a little bigger. I know my boobs are going to be growing a lot. How do you manage this in terms of bras? Do you just buy a new one constantly? Do you buy a couple sizes bigger? What has been your experience?

@KarliQ88 I completely obsessed and freaked out my first time around. I distinctly remember looking at my husband and saying, "What have we done?" I found that arming myself with every bit of information I could find was very reassuring. I researched everything in detail and felt very prepared by the time DD came.
@moonlady I believe they make bras specifically meant to grow with you during pregnancy and after delivery when your milk comes in. They work as nursing bras too. I think they're called Coobie Bras? I plan on checking them out soon. Last pregnancy I wore Genie Bras and they were very comfortable and stretched with me.
my SO no longer seems to want sex. I'm feeling very unattractive. I think he probably just thinks of babies when he is around me... is this normal and does it go away?
@mjolk I've been having this already and it's so strange! We thought it would be great to have a boy for our first, but ever since my BFP I've felt like it's a girl. I even had a dream that we had a girl. Whenever I think about the baby, it's always a girl that comes to mind. I have no idea where these feelings are coming from!
@moonlady I didn't buy new bras until they clearly didn't fit (30 weeks). I went to target and bought inexpensive sale bras. I wasn't about to drop $50 on a vs bra. Some women buy nursing bras, but it's hard to guage how big your boobs will get nursing, so I wouldn't buy those yet.
@mjolk tell your so to shove it. Seriously. I know for some it's weird that their baby is up there, but they need to chill. He put the kid up there. Does it go away? Yes. When they get horny enough.
@ThePax89 that's funny you mention those. My SIL gave me some socks last year, and as I typed that, I thought, those one socks that SIL gave me stay on, and they are trumpettes!
