@mrsmtothek he's gone to pooping only every other day, but when he does go, it's a ton with no signs of constipation (no straining, loose). The frequency of his BMs have lessened starting around 5.5 weeks. He's having plenty of wet diapers. I have a crazy forceful let down so maybe it just comes out fast so he eats fast?? I EP'd with my other child. It's much more stressful with EBF not knowing exactly how many ounces they're eating, but it's soooo much easier!

LO has also had a more scattered BM schedule. It's usually every other day but sometimes he does it twice in a row and once he didn't poo for three days. The length of the feeds have also gotten shorter. I asked my midwife about it and she said all is well. She said that breasted babies around the one month mark can even go one week without a poo. Also, LO is becoming a more efficient eater hence the shorter breastfeeding sessions.
For those of you pumping...is your supply keeping up with your LOs needs? DS will be 7 wks on Monday and this week he has been eating more than before 4-5 oz each time (3-4 hours). I feel like I can barely keep up. I'm afraid that I won't be able to produce more if he starts to need more. I don't want to use my saved stash so soon. I get about an oz per hour. I try to pump every 3-4 hours during the day and 5-6 hours once at night (trying to get some sleep). The max I have produced is 7oz combined (after waiting 6 hours or so).
I mostly pump but also BF maybe once or twice per day. I pump every 3-4 hours during the day with one pump at night so pretty much the same schedule as you. My LO takes about 24-27 oz per day and I make between 34-38oz per day. I think I have a mild oversupply though because sometimes I make over 40oz per day.

Wow! Early on I use to be able to store twice a day and now I can barely keep ahead by 1 feeding. LO usually takes about 24oz a day. I have been a bad a keeping up my water intake so I'm starting with that before I try supplements again. They make LO really gassy.
I have a feeling my supply is dropping. I EBF so I have no idea how many ounces Thomas eats or I produce. However, my boobs feel soft pretty much all of the time now and he only nurses for a few minutes every 2 hours- 5 minutes tops. This happened suddenly. I have always felt firm in between feedings up until a couple of days ago. Thomas is 7.5 weeks. Do you think my supply is finally regulated or could it be dropping?
eta: I think I'm starting my period. Maybe that's something to do with it?
While it's possible, soft breasts is not a sign of low supply. My son's always took about 5 minutes to eat. Then it was nibbling or just soothing. The best and only real way to determine if he's getting enough is by weighing him. And ensuring he's gaining. My breasts have been softer and LO even dropped a nursing session - most days it's 6 feedings. He sttn (8hours or so) then it's every 3 hours. Haven't started my period yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. LO is 8 weeks old now... my guess is your supply is regulating as its usually between 6-8 weeks, and he's become very efficient at nursing as he's getting older!

Your supply is probably regulating. As long as your little guy is having enough wet diapers and seems to be gaining weight, I wouldn't worry about it. R only nurses briefly now, (5-10 mins per feeding) but I have a super forceful letdown, and she's gaining weight like crazy so I guess it's okay.
