Ugh. All these chevron blankets makes me wanna start my next one!! I finished the grey, blue, and white one, but I got more yarn to knit one for my mother's house in white, grey, teal, and yellow. Trouble is, I'm too lazy to cast it on. Lol

Do it, do it, do it!
Lol! It's ok to buckle under peer pressure when it comes to crafting, right? I'll dig my needles out as soon as I get home!
@LGW2015... I decided to make a really chunky but loose blanket for that exact reason. If I made something with small yarn like the beautiful blankes above, I'd never finish lol (not before baby anyway)
We aren't having a girl but one of our friends is so I thought id make some little booties for her. I just started on a green pair for my little nugget
Started this easy blanket a couple of days ago. I'm a little over 20 rows in and will repeat that a few times. Loving how this one is turning out already
Eta: it looks kind of orangey in this pic but really it's a salmon/coral color
I need to make mobile ! If any of you mommas are loom knitters, I am too ! It's so easy and fun. I'm almost done with one baby blanket and have like 6 more to do lol. My 2 cousins and I are all having fall babies ! I need to make more booties and hats too. All the ones I've made I want to keep for me. I'm stuck on making dolls for my older kids right now
I started grinding on LO's blanket, so I decided to turn it into a pillow instead! I just need to crochet a matching square for the back- but it's shelved until I get my mojo back.
Instead I made a little beanie tonight for her. I haven't decided between a flower or an elephant motif to add to it. Next will be a pumpkin hat now that I found a pattern I like!
Crafty Mamas... has anyone had experience modge podging things to canvas? My SIL made all of the digital artwork for LO nursery. She printed it on regular paper and it did not modge Podge well. I tried having her send them to walmart to print but it wouldn't upload. I really would like to have them on canvas vs just framing them
@ammetko04 I have some experience mod-podging prints to canvas. I had my prints printed at Kinko's on slightly heavier paper. I put a thin layer of Mod Podge on the canvas and stuck the paper to it and then put a layer of Mod Podge on top. The paper did wrinkle and I had to be careful to smooth it out from the center, but it looked way better dry than it did wet. Good luck!
@SuperNerd42... Omg! Cutest thing ever! I love it!!! Did you get the pattern online?
eta- I'm not the very best pattern reader so I'm not sure it'll help me... But with it looking that cute, I can't help but try!
The hat itself I made based on several different patterns I've tried. I frogged some pretty strange looking hats before I perfected this one! I made it with Caron Simply Soft yarn and my H hook. Let me know if anything doesn't make sense - I've never written a pattern out before!
Chain 3 always counts as the first Double Crochet (DC)
1- Chain 4 and attach to form a ring Row 1- Chain 3, DC 9 times into the ring. Slip stitch to attach and form a circle. (ending with 10 DC) Row 2- Chain 3, DC two times into each DC from row 1. (20 DC) (You have to watch the initial chain 3 and if you want to do the "second" DC first, or when you come to the end of the row to make sure you end with 20) Row 3- alternate 1 DC or 2 DC into next stitch all the way around (30 DC) Row 4- alternate 1 DC or 2 DC into next stitch all the way around (45 DC) Row 5 & 6- 1 DC all the way around (45) Row 7- Switch color. Single Crochet all the way around (45) Row 8- Switch color. Half Double Crochet all the way around (45) Row 9- Switch color. Single Crochet all the way around (45) Row 10 & 11- Switch Color. Double crochet all the way around (45) Row 11 - Trim! Single crochet all the way around. I usually flip the hat inside out and do the trim row on the "wrong" side because I like the little V effect the backside of the single crochet has.
I cannot stop sewing all of the baby things. I love making bandana bibs, burp cloths, and top knot baby hats. It's just so much fun! I've been going to thrift stores to hunt for shirts/dresses that are made from a cute knit fabrics and then I've been turning them to baby hats. My next project is to try baby leggings!

I finally finished my baby's quilt❤️
Thanks, @suzy311 and @Kc0825! Yes I knitted it. You can do it in the round or straight. I did it straight and then sewed the back. It's SUPER easy and quick! Here's the link: https://www.fiberfluxblog.com/2011/10/free-pattern-just-in-time-for-chilly.html?m=1

The flower and leaf are from this pattern from Repeat Crafter Me: https://www.repeatcrafterme.com/2016/04/crochet-scalloped-earflap-hat-and-flower.html
(edit - math fail!)
I modified the cable a bit and I haven't put buttons on it (I'll probably skip them).
