I GOT A BIG FAT FUCKING POSITIVE!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry for the language, but I'm sure you can imagine that I had given up on IUI's. I can't believe I got a BFP on my 6th one!!!! I am so ecstatic I cannot even stand myself. I am 12 dpiui and I used a FRER. I actually did it at 3am when I woke up to put in my lovely progesterone suppository. But I was half asleep, didn't immediately see a line, put it in the trash and then went to bed. Thank God I was a dumpster diver!!!!! It is definitely a second pink line and not a grey evap line. And my husband is at work and can't answer his phone so I am losing my mind! My beta isn't until Friday but I have a call in to my nurse to see if I can move it up a day since I got a BFP.

Fx for anyone else left in this group!

I had my repeat beta and my HCG tripled to 148 and they booked my first u/s. I'll still be lurking to see @roxgibbons and @omarismyhomeboy results.

Today's beta was only 22, but I did go in 2 days early. I'm only 12dpiui and they like to see 50-100 at 14dpiui. I go back Friday and hopefully it doubled. I'm just a little nervous because I've been having some cramping. I'm just trying to relax!!!

@NurseTMD85 I know you're nervous but like you said it's a couple days early and I'm sure by Friday those numbers will double. Also-

@wifeinraleigh28 thanks for the support. I was pretty bummed out about this cycle. I had a really good feeling about it initially and I really did everything I could to aim towards a BFP. I emailed my RE and asked to be moved to injectables but apparently we have to meet with him first and also take a class at the clinic about how to inject so I don't think injectables will happen this  upcoming cycle. In the mean time he upped my dose of letrolzole so I may just do that this cycle until we get all the injectable stuff figured out. Such a hassle and I'm still waiting on AF to show up.

@roxgibbons We had to do a class at the clinic before doing injectables too... but that was my initial treatment plan so we did that before even getting started.  If you're still waiting on AF maybe you can quickly squeeze a class in?  I usually did my first injection on CD 3 so maybe that would give you some time to get in to see your RE and take the class!  And my meds were always delivered very quickly... as early as next day delivery if I needed.  I hope you can work it out!

@wifeinraleigh28 that may work- I will see if I can get an appt scheduled. Worst case he said he can even do a phone consult. The funny thing is my friend went to the same clinic and when she got moved over to injectables she watched a video tutorial instead of going to the class so I'll ask about that too. Maybe it's a good thing AF is lagging so I have time to get all this stuff scheduled. How are things with you?

@roxgibbons That would be awesome if it could work out for you to move to injectables next cycle!  Things are going alright for me.  We're on a break this month while I do screening for the Megaset Trial.  The nurse said I should know by tomorrow (Monday) if I'm accepted!  If I'm accepted, she said there's a good chance we can begin our IVF cycle when my period starts (which will likely be around the 22nd or 23rd).

Hi everyone I'm new here and was looking for an IUI thread and I see this may one is carrying over into June.  I just had my first IUI on June 10.  Congrats to those BFPS!! I see is been a tricky month!! 

Ive been doing Clomid with the trigger shot, this is my 3rd round but first IUI with only one mature follicle so I'm not feeling as confident as I had 3 mature follicles last month, I was suppose to do an IUI but that became a miss.  Anyhoo I'm reading some posts mentioning injectables, do u feel that type of protocol is more successful? I think I have to do another IUI before trying ivf.  Who new baby making was this difficult.  Good luck everyone!!

All of the results are in for May IUIs (and some TIs)... see the final spreadsheet below.

IUI results - 2 BFPs out of 25 attempts (8% success rate)
TI results - 0 BFPs out of 4 attempts (0% success rate)

For the ladies that have moved on to the June IUI thread - I would also suggest tracking oral vs injectable stimulation, as an additional data point.

My BFP was also confirmed with two Beta tests! I didn't want to post because I didn't trust it but at 6 weeks I have symptoms now so it def worked.

Congrats @pmjb - I was worried that your lab was taking a really long time to give you your results The suspense would have killed me!  That's awesome that it is good news.
