@MRSCORKER That's so cool! I've felt little twinges, but I don't know that they are directly baby-related. I'll pay attention to the sides next time I'm laying around reading a book or something to see if I notice anything.

Yeah! I was surprised when my OB said that. I will say though that when I felt movement this morning, I wasn't paying attention at all or looking for anything.

I'm 15 weeks today. I thought I felt something a couple of weeks ago, but it was questionable. Today I'm DEFINITLY feeling little one bounce around. With my first I first felt flutters at 16 weeks. And at my last ultrasound the tech said the placenta is posterior, so I should be able to feel them early.
Okay, the eels in my belly feeling HAS to be the baby moving. Now I understand why pregnant women are constantly itching their bellies. This baby has been jumping around like a pogo champ for the last hour and I can't stop scratching.
STM. With DS I started feeling movement at 16 weeks, but H couldn't feel til around 20 weeks. This time around I've had movement since 15.5 weeks, and H felt a little kick at 17+2 (currently 17+4). It was super teeny but she was so active that evening that we could actually even see the tiniest little poke at my low belly.
While I absolutely think that baby kicks are the most awesome thing about pregnancy, it makes me a little nervous for later, just knowing how active DS was (and difficulty falling asleep that resulted).
I've been feeling little flutters since this weekend, but since it's still so early I was trying not to get ahead of myself. It's nice to see others feeling movement as early too! This is absolutely my favorite part of being pregnant, and it's like validation and reminder that there really is a little someone in there. I can't wait for DH to be able to feel LO too!
Yesterday after breakfast, I felt a distinct rolling/pressure in my lower abdomen to the left. Today after breakfast, I've been feeling what I guess are flutters? It feels more like a lot of goldfish swimming around in there and bumping into the walls. I guess I have an after breakfast wiggle worm!

@MRSCORKER same here! I'm thinking it might be the raise in blood sugar that gets baby going after breakfast. I was just telling DH baby likes to sleep in until 9am or so, which is great bc this family loves sleep hehe
@MRSCORKER - that's funny, when I was pregnant with DS my FIL asked me what it felt like and I described it as a goldfish swimming around in a small bowl.
I feel Peanut alot throughout the day. But on the few days that i don't feel Peanut, i use my monitor to listen to the heartbeat. Yesterday,Peanut kicked the crap outta the monitor. It sounded like PP said, a loud bang. Also, Peanut must know when his or her Daddy is near. Everytime he lays near me or puts his hand on my belly, Peanut does all sorts of flips (@least thats whay it feels like.
I kinda like it that FI can't feel Peanut yet. Its like its just minr and Peanuts little secret right now. Really kinda sweet if you think about it.
Totally just felt baby about 5 minutes ago sitting at work. I was kind of leaning forward in my chair. There's no way it was anything else. So crazy but so cool! 16w 4d.

@RainMira9e@kmolleltz Me three. I keep feeling him sporadically but nothing consistent. It's been a few days now and I hate that I'm so anxious. I keep thinking about a doppler and if that might be able to quell some fears in the mean time.
Countdown to Baby H! Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
@kmolleltz don't worry, the only movement I'm pretty sure I feel is gas and I'm almost 18 weeks...I know from ultrasounds and dopplering she's ok but I get wanting the built-in reassurance! Soon we will prob be asking them to please stop kicking us in the ribs and vagina
I originally thought two weeks ago I felt flutters but I don't think it was. I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and I still don't feel anything. I know with first pregnancies it can take a bit longer but ughh the wait is killing me... I'm not sure if I'm mistaking it for something else or the little guy is kicking around!
I'm 16w 3d and I've been feeling more and more little flutters that kind of feel like little Poprocks popping in my tummy. I've noticed that I usually start to feel the flutters shortly after I've eaten something. It makes me so happy❤️
I have felt little kicks---it started last week at least once a day, but then this weekend haven't felt much of anything. Is it too early to worry about this?

I'm 15 weeks 4 days and a STM... I am feeling this baby more and more now! Last night it was so active, I definitely didn't feel it this early with my first! My placenta is posterior vs. anterior like last time, this may be why
STM, 16 weeks, and I don't think I've really felt baby girl move around yet. There have been a few times that I've thought I might be feeling her, but I don't feel comfortable claiming it until I'm really sure. It could very easily have just been gas. I felt DD by 18 weeks so I was hoping to feel this little bean by now. Baby kicks are one of my very favorite parts of pregnancy so I'm excited for her to get more active, but she will when she's ready. Anyway, long story short, don't fret if you're not feeling LO just yet

Yes. Ladies with anterior placenta may not feel anything until late pregnancy in fact.
ETA- my response wasn't really appropriate to your question. Yes, it's too early to be thinking about kick counts, essentially.
Haven't really felt Peanut in a few days. I get very anxious when i don't feel her with PGAL brain. Then i pull out my monitor and listen til I'm satisfied in knowimg Peanut is just like his or her mommy. That is Peanut is stubborn and enjoys being left alone.
I'm 16 + 3 and nothing so far... This is normal, right? It's starting to tug on that little thread of worry in my brain. I'm a FTM, so everything I read says it could be as late as 20 weeks before I feel something. But then you read everyone else is feeling things and you start to think things... Just trying to not think about it at all.

It's totally normal. Especially for a FTM. I thought I was feeling things last week and even posted on this thread but now I'm second guessing myself because it's so early for movement. Hang in there, before we know it we'll be begging our LOs to sit still

@lmnobaby 17 weeks today and still waiting. I hear it's normal. And as to all the feelers out there - gotta admit, to make myself feel better, I tell myself at least some of them are probably imagining!
I believe that last night at 18w3d, I finally felt real movement. I was sitting watching tv and felt like something brush up against me, but it was from the inside, if that makes sense. Never have I felt that before. I'm a FTM, so I could be imagining things, but I felt it twice, and then nothing after that.
I'm a FTM at 15 weeks and I feel little tickling at the bottom of my belly on the inside quite often. It started a few days ago and has really picked up today. Idk if it's baby but I've never felt gas like this before! It's random and I notice it when I'm resting. Sometimes it just feels like a brush just swipes across a little part of my belly from the inside. It's so soft and sweet. I really think it's baby!
I felt a ton of movement around 16 weeks. I'm now 19 weeks and I haven't felt much in the last few weeks. It's freaking me out and I don't have an appointment until next week.
I just felt my little guy. It feels like gas bubbles but it's an amazing feeling!! He must love chocolate chip cookies because he didn't move at all for the salad. LOL I hope this is only the beginning for the movements!!
