Hi there, and welcome to the December 2016 BMB!

This post is intended to keep our board organized and easy for everyone to use, as well as welcoming! 

First, please use the search function. As we get more people and more threads, there are sure to be duplicate posts. For easy to answer questions, the search box will be your friend. It's on the top right on desktop, bottom of the page on mobile. 

Next, introduce yourself on this thread and add your due date to this one!

For those of you that are new to TB since you got your BFP, the below are standard threads to all boards. Anyone can start these threads, just please do not duplicate! Some work better if one person volunteers and those that have are listed below. Feel free to volunteer! If you accidentally start a duplicate thread, that's a great opportunity to start a GIF party!

Daily Threads: (please add date to thread title)
-Check in! (how far along, how you're feeling, baby related activities, rants/raves, questions, gtky ...) In May this will become Ticker Change
-Ticker Changes (when your weeks progression changes, you participate in that day. For example, if I will be 5 weeks on Thursday, that's the day I participate)

Weekly Threads: these will be posted on Mondays and will run the course of the week. (please add Monday's date to thread title)  - We need volunteers!

When we all get farther along, we will have stickied threads for things like sex announcements, ultrasound pictures, and birth announcements. 

If you'd like to volunteer to post a weekly thread, just post below!

Can I make a suggestion for anyone starting the weekly posts as I've seen it work well on other BMB's - can we put the date on our MondayBF, TW Tuesday, etc?

So on other BMB's - no one is assigned to the daily threads, whoever is up and thinking of it just gets it going. That way one person isn't like - crap I gotta start that thread - and everyone else isn't waiting around for them.
That'd be my preference.

This was copied from Sept. and Nov. They had their dailies assigned, that way there wasn't likely to be duplicates.

@slartybartfast just for clarification October and November assign their weekly threads. I think that's where the idea came from. Not saying it's a perfect formula though. I think if it's midday and a thread hasn't been posted then by all means go ahead and post. Just my two cents though.

yea sorry I meant my previous BMBs. Let's see how things shake out but I still vote for having daily threads that someone starts in the morning, rather than a specific person
