If we were announcing on social media, which we are not, I would post this picture. We announced to our families by giving them bottles of wine with the wine labels I had made. It is the picture I have sent some friends and waited for their reactions (DH and I are huge sports fans.)

This is ours! We are not posting publicly for a couple more weeks. This is our favorite coffee place, and we are there a lot. So even though this isn't too original, it fits us perfectly.

Groupon! They have been having sales on graphic maternity t shirts and this was one of them. It's still a little big on me, but I'm sure in a few weeks it'll look much better

Hoping people still read this thread as I can use some advice
We got the A-OK to go on our Disney trip at the end of the month, so we want to take a pic down there to use as our fb announcement. Originally I wanted to do all of us (me, DH, and DD) in Mickey ears holding a 4th pair, but honestly don't want to spend the money on ears we'll never wear.
Any other ideas for a fun Disney-themed announcement?
I have a long-running minor (okay, kinda major) obsession with watermelon (plus I'm a Dirty Dancing fan, and the line from movie's always been a joke...) - so this was ours! P.S. Our initials spell out LMNO - an English nerd's dream!

I wasn't all that enthusiastic about a big public announcement, but my husband was tired of trying to keep it a secret and keeping track of who knew and who didn't, so now everybody does. I'm okay with it though, it's understated, it saves me from texting a whole bunch of people individually, though we also did that leading up to this so certain family would feel special.
@OrangeEv Well, my initials are LN and his are MO, but if you do my first with his first, then my last with his last (you know, cuze we're in love and meshing our lives and all that jazz), it comes out, LMNO. Someone started calling us that years ago and I made it stick because I love word and letter fun! I even turned it into a "logo" of sorts for our wedding. And usually it's written out like this: LM NO

posted this tonight I was in no rush sometimes people on my Facebook are a bunch of negative people. 15 weeks saying I'm just fat was not the answer people wanted anymore lol Funny thing is the women in my building were more supportive aND caring then my own Family. I have to say I love the old ladies and supportive mom's in this building.
We don't plan to do a FB announcement for another few weeks, but we have our picture finished! My husband is a huge Patriots fan so I let him run with this one

this was our gender announcement today. our actual preggo announcement was the NJ reporter for nbc announcing The baby in front of the news van. we worked with him during the aftermath of hurricane sandy and he even came to our wedding. nicest guy ever.
