Yea @chesterdoodle !!!! Super huge congrats to you and your family!!
@pandora21524 I'm diet controlled as well so no plans to do anything but wait and watch. And I am completely with you. Making lists of all the stuff I want to eat! I promise that when I am focusing on my breathing I will actually be focusing on the cookie cake and sushi I will have once baby arrives. Woosah
My LO was born on May 29 (39w3d) naturally. So naturally it happened at home in the bathroom!!! No time to go to the hospital. DH & I delivered her & the paramedics arrived about 15 mins later. Her sugars were tested 3 times in the first 24hr & all was perfect so that's it!! Good luck to you all!
Hi ladies! My due date was yesterday. (6/12.) I'm diet controlled and doctor said they'll induce in a week if baby hasn't come by then. Scared of having a giant baby!
Ive been having promodial labor for WEEKS and the contractions are getting worse but still not admit time. I have my 40 week appointment and NST tomorrow. Hoping the same thing I've been hoping at the last few doctor appointments, that they'll check my dilation and decide to admit me. Lol. We can dream, right?

Did you have any signs labor was coming? Promodial labor? I'm an hour from my hospital and absolutely terrified of not making it there in time. I know you're probably like, "Get over it." But I think you're a warrior and I'm terrified of having to step up to any such warrior plate!

My numbers have been great as in i eat what I want and still don't have high numbers. My doctor said that can happen sometimes they will still check the baby and things. I am actually starting my induction tomorrow, along with GD I also have Lupus, spd so they have decided to induce at exactly 39 weeks. I am nervous cause everyone keeps saying induction is the worst and I will regret agreeing to it. Even the girl at the maternity store scared the hell out of me.

Ack! it won't let me out of the box! :P Anyway, I don't know what part of Ohio you're in, but one of my coworkers induced at Southview and she says she had a GREAT experience. Short Labor, On-time Epidural, and she got to have one last planned and scheduled date night just her and her hubby before they went in to induce. Family came with them to the hospital beforehand, then left before the induction and came back after delivery. There's a positive tale, so it's not all horror stories. From what she's said you get a little more control in an induction, as a chronic type-Aer, that's comforting to me. I'm still waiting it out, but if my doctor told me that inducing was what was right for me and baby, I'd much rather listen to the medical expert than the naysayers!
