@WineBaby122 so true! I have done the same thing every night for a while and sometimes he gives me 6 hours and sometimes he gives me 6 minutes. Lol I wish it was as easy as just swaddling or rocking or sticking with the same thing every night!
I'm starting to regret asking this question because now I'm jelly of almost all of you lol
Just got our first 6 hour stretch followed by 3.5 hours! I'm not sure if it's just coincidence or not but the new sleep pattern happened when we upped his formula amount to 5 ounces every 4 hours from 4 ounces every 3-4 hours during the day. LO is 8 weeks old.
I don't want to start a new sleep thread for this question, so I'll ask it here. LO has been pretty fussy these last 3 nights from 9pm-12am. He cries out, maybe lets out some gas and is just kind of irritated. He's not hungry (or at least we don't think so because we're able to console him and put him back to sleep), but for that 3 hour stretch we are constantly up and out of bed to whisper to him, rock him, soothe him, we even end up doing a diaper change to see if that helps. He's 13w old and DH and I are trying to figure out if it's something we're doing/not doing or if it's just a phase he's going through right now. He is in the middle of one of his Leaps based off of Wonder Weeks, so I am chalking it up to that.My ? is though, these last 3 days because we've been soothing and trying to help him stay asleep, he goes 7-9 hours without eating. Should I be waking him up to have a bottle by let's say, 6-7 am if he still isn't up or just let him wake on his own? He's starting to get into a routine where he isn't waking for an early morning bottle anymore around 2-4 a.m. so that's not out of the ordinary, I just worry that going beyond 8 hours without a bottle isn't good. I don't want to assume that he'll just wake up when he's hungry.
