I'm home with a snow day, which is a wonderful excuse to be lurking. It's been awhile - I love getting to catch up with all of you. As always I miss the snark of this board; you ladies always keep me laughing will the well-placed gifs!

We've settled on his name, though his middle name is still up for debate. His name is Jackson - not because it's popular, but because it's my maiden name & as an only child, this is how I can carry on my family name (so to speak). We're happy with the choice! Middle name will either be Ronald (my FIL) or David (DH's grandfather).

No questions or concerns. His nursery is coming together nicely - we're doing an elephant theme, with light grey walls, white furniture, & navy blue accents. It took us awhile to come up with an idea we loved for a boy (we had great girl ideas), but I'm so happy to see it all coming together now!

We've settled on Connor Lawrence.  Connor is a name DH picked and I like.  Lawrence is my dads middle name and DH's uncle (super excited to be able to honor both families with 1 name!)

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I was active here for only a couple months after finding the bump last summer after my loss, I still lurk almost daily.  July has a healthy amount of snark and GIFs, but really nothing can replace TTGP.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? I could easily be on Team Green I think but DH is pretty antsy to find out.  We actually did a blood test at our last appt that supposedly is pretty accurate and could tell us with in the next week what the sex is based on the choromosomes.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share   We've had a running list for over the last year or so and haven't really narrowed anything down yet.  

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?  Things have been good, I've been super busy with a new position in my office and taking night classes so I have not been on here much at all.  I actually feel bad because I'll make comments and then never get back to answer if somebody replies....So, my apologies for that.  Overall things are good, I just told my boss- the anticipation was worse than actually telling him but no major other announcements yet.  We still haven't told my parents yet- they are next on the list.  Both of them have been traveling and we wanted to wait until our last dr appt which was just this Friday to tell them anyways. So, overall- nothing terribly exciting to report, just waiting for more exciting things to happen! Some of my coworkers are mistaking my tummy buldge for a baby bump and I keep trying to tell them I just keep all of my weight in my tummy.  They don't want to hear that....but I really do not feel I am showing yet.  Hope everyone else is doing well!!

I've only been gone from TTGP for a week and I'm already missing it  Not much to update but...

*How far along are you? 4+2 based on my lmp

*Which birth month board/due date? November 2016 - EDD is 11/7/2016 as of now.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We'll find out as soon as we can

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share  H and I have been discussing names since we started ttc.  We had boy names already picked out; either Jonas or Jonah. We had NO girl names, but H bought a baby name book and we've been going through it, so we have a list finally.  The two girl names we agree on right now are Coralie and Zara...but we obviously have tons of time.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I've had 2 betas done and my doctor was happy that they were doubling and my progesterone was great, so he scheduled an u/s for 3/16/2016.  I'll be 6+2 so hopefully we'll get to hear the heartbeat.  H and I are so excited for the appointment. We told our parents last weekend. I called and told my parents over the phone since they knew were ttc. My mom cried tears of joy and kept repeating "this is just the best news ever. I knew it would happen".  H's parents didn't know we were ttc so it was a huge surprise.  We bought his mom a onesie that says "everything's better at grandma's" and his dad one that said "grandpa's sidekick".  His mom screamed and cried

Still all new and scary. I know there is a risk so we're trying to be realistic but also really excited.

I got to tell my step mom yesterday. It was her birthday so I have her a card with a photo of the pregnancy test saying "happy birthday nanny!" She cried. A lot. 

First dr apt is on Friday. FX it's going the way it should!

How are you doing picking out a name? Since we were TTC for so long, we had discussed names a while ago. Both have sentimental feelings...the girls name we picked is my grandmother's and mother's name and the boy's name we picked is related to DH's baby brother (who died as an infant) and his high school friend (who is also deceased). We're keeping the names under wraps until LO is here, though. 

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I've been pretty anxious lately - about normal early pregnancy concerns but also about finally being a mom. It seemed so unattainable for so long that I think I had started to give up on the idea (even though we were going to start fertility treatments very soon) so now I'm readjusting to the idea of being a mom again. DH is over the moon excited and talks to baby on the regular. It's adorbs.

*Which birth month board/due date?  Sept. '16.  We're due 9/28.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green?  Don't know yet but will definitely be finding out.

Feel free to share  Doing pretty good with coming up with a short list.  For boys: Brady, Connor, Carter, and Drew.  For girls it's tougher: Evan ("Evi"), Charlotte, Sophia.  I'm convinced we're Team Blue so not too worried about it yet plus we've got plenty of time before we need to decide.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?  We're still in the first trimester so taking it one day at a time but things are looking good after an early, early HCG drop (we think it was a lab error).

H came up with another name that we actually like better. We're having a harder time with girls -- I like just about everything, H is great at vetoing but not so great at coming up with names. We'll get more serious about it once we find out the sex. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I had a doctor's appointment this morning and everything is looking good! Peanut's heart rate is at 158 and we could hear him or her moving around like crazy on the doppler. I had no idea you could hear movement on the doppler! It's pretty cool.

I only participated on this board for a few months so I'm not sure if anyone remembers me, but this board helped me out so much! I still lurk and enjoy seeing the BFPs.

Which birth month board/due date? August 15

Team pink/blue/green? I don't find out the sex until Marxh 31. I'm so excited! But after everything that's happened I'll just be happy to have a healthy baby. I don't care what the sex is.

How are you doing picking out a name? If we have a boy then the name is set. He would be a fifth generation so that one is easy. If we have a girl then we're at a loss. We're really struggling to find a girl name that has some sort of meaning to us.

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I've really been struggling with PGAL brain throughout this whole pregnancy. But I'm so happy to be pregnant again and am excited about becoming a mother. I really have to thank all of you for helping me through my loss and TTGP. I hope you all get your BFPs soon! I have had several concerns between the spotting and extra low progesterone levels but the doctor saw me on Wednesday last minute and our little dumpling was growing just fine with a strong heartbeat! And I've been put on progesterone pills and the spotting has stopped which I am very grateful for!!
