Team Pink/Blue/Green? I intend to find out, but really don't have a preference one way or the other.
How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share: We have our names picked out for either sex, but for now the baby is affectionately nicknamed Spawn.
Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
The good: Had our first OB appointment yesterday. Spawn is doing great, and we got to hear the heartbeat. I'm absolutely in love and also terrified.
The bad: Hyperemesis gravidarum is downright awful. Look, I adore the TTGP board, so here's some preemptive advice if anyone here ever finds themselves in this situation: Don't be stubborn, try to tough it out, or try medicate it yourself with over-the-counter with vitamin B like I did. I was stupid, that was stupid of me, and I put myself in a horrible state (and also the hospital for a couple of days) as a result. Get medical help when you need it. Also, if anyone throws a hissy at you about "unnecessary" medication during pregnancy, you automatically get the right to be sick on their shoes. Twice.
Finally, @izza2 this is for you: *Edited for format.

@DarthFuriosa: hey gurl I'm sorry you've got HG. That's a super bummer. Anyone who gets up in yo business about meds during pregnancy can kiss my pale white rear. If you need the med to live and remain hydrated-- then do what you have to do, friend. I support you for healthy, happy pregnancy. Hang in there.
@darthFuriosa- I'm sorry to hear you've been so sick!! That sounds terrible!! The few people I've told now have asked if I've been sick and I've told them I had some issues but they were better with the meds. Some of the older women have said they didn't have meds back in the day and there's a person I work with who has been "toughing it out".....I kind of just want to smack them all. Really?? There is nothing fun about being nauseated to the point that you have to just lay down all afternoon or survive on saltines and gingerale.....that if you are sitting still you are ok but if you have to get up and walk around you are sick. Nope....I don't feel bad about taking the meds at all. I was not nearly as bad as you were it sounds like and I guess I should give credit where credit is due to those who have done it without meds.....but really....it sucks. I have been a much more function able person with the meds and able to carry on with my work and my day and those were my top priorities, especially since we weren't trying to advertise it too much at my employer until my new job had been made official. So I pretty much needed the meds to get through the days and be productive. I'd also really like to be working out right now and doing some sort of physical activity but I've been so busy between work and night classes and trying to keep up with everything at home, it hasn't really been an option for me. Hoping to start walking at least when my night classes end. Hang in there girl!!

Team Pink/Blue/Green? We are having a little girl!
How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share We've decided to name our girl Hazel Marie
Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? At 24 weeks she was diagnosed with Premature Atrial Contractions (PAC) which is a heart arrhythmia. At 27 weeks, we were at our weekly MFM appointment and her heartbeat was 280 and in the middle of the scan, her heart stopped for 30 seconds. I was prepped for an emergency c-section. Her heartbeat came back so no c-section was performed (Thank God). For the past 10 days, we have been hospitalized trying different cardiac meds that will help her heart rate come down. She has been diagnosed with SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia). Her heart rate is now getting better but we will still be here for awhile but we are hoping for the best and that she can stay in me (healthily) for another 4-6 weeks minimum. But we shall see. I also have a family history of malignant hyperthermia so getting certain medications for an emergency c-section is a big no no for me.

Whatever @izza2 said was removed for TOU violation before I saw it, but my notifications say she tagged me. So, cool.
And I just realized two more people responded to me, and those have since been deleted.
I don't even know what was flippin' said and I'm totally feeling like crap now (pregnancy hormones don't help, and I'm already having a really cruddy and emotional day). So thanks, I guess, for making me feel welcome as always.
