@br0co1ii Yay!! Congrats!! I can't believe your DH hasn't seen it yet, I'd be going crazy and basically force feeding him water to make him have to pee! Report back when he finds it!
@br0co1ii Yay!! Congrats!! I can't believe your DH hasn't seen it yet, I'd be going crazy and basically force feeding him water to make him have to pee! Report back when he finds it!
He finally went in there, peed, changed the garbage...seriously spent like 5 full minutes in there. Then came out completely oblivious. I had to tell him to go back and look at my pee stick. Total fail. Oh well. We got a good laugh out of it.
@br0co1ii CONGRATS!!!!! SO excited for you What's EPO? (sorry if that's a dumb question)
eta: words
Thank you! EPO is evening primrose oil. It really helped me to produce EWCM as I wasn't producing much on my own. I decided to give it a go because it had other benefits listed, and didn't seem like it could hurt.
R/R/CS: my temp went back up today so who knows. I just realized that FF must have updated yesterday and the app can do chart overlays in the gallery. I have been overlaying my chart on evvvvvery chart. Ugh.
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW ) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet. My dress was the very last one I had to try on after a full day of dress shops. My MIL picked it out and I loved it the second I out it on.
R/R/CS: temp still up but normal pms starting. My longest LP has been 12 days so AF should arrive any time now
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW ) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet.
I don't have any pictures on my iPad, but here is my dress. Yes, it did have pockets. Sorry it's huge and in the wrong spot.
*Lurker Status*
@LadyMillil you and I had the same exact wedding dress! I got it for $400 off the rack and it fit perfectly! I was obsessed with the pockets!!
@mrsdee15 YOUR CAKE. Amazing. I love it so much. @br0co1ii Congrats!! EPO? Off to Google I go.
ETA More tags! Posted before I was done.
@babymish I love that dress! So beautiful and dreamy. I can imagine it for an outdoor wedding at somewhere with lots of trees.
@LINDSEYRVA & @MRSCORKER I love the lace with keyholes. That's what I originally wanted, but the one I liked was way out of budget. I ended up loving the dress I chose, but I always have a soft spot for the lace keyhole dresses.
@QueenSunscreen I love the vibe of your wedding! (Or at least what I can see from the photos!). The fall colors, leaves, and your cape are gorgeous!
@bcooke314 I love your dress! I also only took my mom and sister shopping with me, even though other aunts and cousins wanted to go because I knew that everybody would choose dresses I would never want, and try and convince me against what I wanted. One aunt wanted me in a ballgown. For a Hawaii beach wedding. Um, no. Also, I love your ballet slippers!
Congrats @br0co1ii I'm also going to be looking into epo. Happy and healthy 9 months! @joyful08 I was a flabbergasted star struck idiot. Haha. I was grinning like a kid on christmas
TTC1: May 2015
Primary IF May 2016; Failed HSG; Scheduled Lap Sept. 2016
Testing: I wanted to wait until AF was late, but I just realized we're going to a friend's party next Saturday night and I should probably test next Saturday morning. It'll be 12dpo. Anyone know if I'd get an accurate result from a CB digi weeks estimator at 12dpo?
You're probably getting tagged a million times today because of the GTKY! Haha. Either way, I wanted to say I got a positive with a CB digi non-week-estimator at 13 dpo. I think they're pretty much the same right? I think it would be pretty accurate at 12DPO.
I agree with PP that the last two days GTKY have been so awesome and fun. It helps see a little more into everyone's personalities.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 25/4
Timing: -6. So, none.
Testing: Just waiting for AF.
R/R/CS: I'm just here for the GTYK.
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW ) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet.
We had a destination wedding, so I was on a budget for the dress, so ended up at David's Bridal. Which was perfect for me, because I'm pretty low maintenance and already had my dress picked out before the appointment. I wanted full lace because I liked the contrast between a casual beach setting and a traditional fabric. I LOVED my dress. The lace was more of a leaf pattern (as opposed to floral) which totally spoke to my usually non-girly style while still being feminine.
R/R/CS: Trying not to symptom spot. "But my boobs are totes tender, and my pee smelled funny when I went to the bathroom, and also my stomach sort of hurts which definitely has nothing to do with the fact that I barely had any dinner last night." DH woke me up at 4am because he couldn't sleep and...yeah. The whole time I was thinking, "This is going to mess with my BBT!" Hah. It didn't seem to make too much of a difference.
GTKY: I'm not not the kind of person who has a "this is the dress!!" moment, and I'm pretty picky about styles in general. So I decided to go with a J.Crew dress a friend has suggested and ordered it off of EBay because I'm cheap like that. I wasn't super thrilled with it when it arrived--yeah, it was nice, but was it the ONE? Anyway, it totally grew on me, and now I'm 1000% in love with it. It was perfect for the garden setting of our wedding, too.
Also, @mrsdee15 is that a Harry Potter-inspired cake, or am I just reading too much into it? Because if it is, that's incredible. (And it's incredible just on its own anyway!)
Month/Cycle: 1/1 after MC CD/DPO: 20/3 Timing: -5, -3, -1 Testing: Probably 11 DPO which is next Sunday. We are going to a Puerto Vallarta all-inclusive resort on Wednesday and come back on Monday. I'm going to take it easy on the drinks, but I hate to live like I'm pregnant when I may not be. Also kind of freaking out about the mosquito/Zika thing. I bought 5 different kinds of insect repellent and have been reassured by Trip Advisor forum members that the hotel sprays for bugs and that no one had a single bite at the resort. H is annoyed that we will not be doing any jungle hikes, but after my MC we are trying our best to balance taking every precaution and living our lives normally. I'm sure if I see a BFP next weekend I am going to be a ball of nerves throughout the pregnancy.
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW ) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet.
My wedding was in August. I loved my dress. It's funny at the time I thought that I would be unique b/c my dress was lace and v-necked because every wedding dress for the last 10 years seems to have been strapless and satin. Turns out like every bride I know that got married this summer had a different version of my dress. I love it!.
@emilyIRL Yes it is! DH and I are both huge fans. ETA: Our entire wedding was peppered with references to HP and Disney (tastefully, of course). At the open bar we had a sign that said "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
DD born PPROM preemie at 36 weeks on 10/1/17 after over a year TI, then 3 failed IUIs, and finally a successful IVF FET.
Due with #2 5/2/19 after HIO once in my FW, because apparently that's how life works now. Team Blue!
Thanks @br0co1ii! I have gotten tagged like a million times today (it's ok though! It makes me feel oh so cool). I didn't think anyone would see my question because of all the oohing and aaahing over wedding dresses. Congrats to you!
@EmilyIRL I tried on that dress and loved it! The fabric was beautiful. The dress was just a little overwhelming on me - I ended up with a very sleek silhouette, which was much better. I can't get over how perfect it looks on you!
R/R/CS: So I'm back after my whirlwind work travel week! With the time difference and general craziness, I found it hard to post, but I certainly was lurking! I've gotten an all-white welcome with winter storm jonas - what a "great" welcome back!! In TTC news, the control freak in me was super happy to be able to temp again this morning, though I probably still can't truly rely on it since I'm still getting back to US time. Whatevs - still in mid-TWW so not too much to try to get BSC over anyway.
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet.
LOVE this topic (and seeing everyones' colors yesterday)! Since I wasn't able to play yesterday, I'll answer both today. As far as my dress, I ended up getting two! Not anything I was even remotely planning to do, but I really wanted something unique and fell in love with this all-tulle empire waist dress with a modern flower bust by Amsale - super romantic and perfect to get married in IMO. I ended up with a second dress because, well, let's be honest - I was in my mid-twenties and wanted to flaunt what I had while I had it in something form-fitting! LOL. So they had this mock turtleneck dropped-waist backless silk charmeuse dress that fit like butta and also wasn't something a ton of people were wearing. Thankfully, I also got a good deal! I wore the tulle dress for my ceremony and the first quarter of my reception and then surprised everyone (including DH!) when I came out in the second dress! The look on his face was priceless!
I found a pic of the ceremony dress online, but couldn't find the reception dress (the one attached is as close as I could find - the main differences are that mine had a higher neck that wasn't beaded and a beaded belt belt below the waist).
The two other pics give an idea of the ceremony and reception- all white with touches of purple and fuschia in an an urban loft. The bridesmaids were in dark purple and the groomsmen were in black tuxes with dark purple ties.
Fun!
ETA: Congratulations @br0co1ii!!! Love the pee stick story and definitely incorporating EPO next month if I don't get a BFP!
Totally lurking until my blood work comes back and I want to play!! I was super in love with my dress even though it weighed 20lbs it felt like. Lots of lace and beaded bodice. Congrats on more BFPs today!
@PeggyOlsonFTW I have gotten tagged like a million times today (it's ok though! It makes me feel oh so cool). I didn't think anyone would see my question because of all the oohing and aaahing over wedding dresses. Congrats to you!
Thanks @jamiemichelle I was worried bc the fabric was so thick and heavy but luckily (for me, not my poor guests) it ended up being an iut of character cold day in texas for my outdoor wedding!
@br0co1ii Congrats and wishing you a H&H 9! @Lecool, you and I had the same wedding dress, and for the exact same reasons, too. a) cheap b) lace c) not too girly.
TTGP February Sig Challenge- Valentine's Day Fail:
Testing: Maybe tomorrow or maybe not until after AF is late, I'm trying to hold out especially since my chart is currently dropping down towards cover line.
R/R/CS: So I either ovulated on CD14 or 17, FF thinks that it was CD 17 but by that day my CM had dried up...I don't know what to think. If i discard the temp from CD 17 it moves to CD14, it also has an open circle on CD 14 for some reason.
GTKY: After yesterday awesome wedding colours show & tell (thanks @PeggyOlsonFTW ) it seems only natural to move onto wedding dresses/dream dresses if you're not married yet. I loved my dress, it was a corset with beading all along the back as well as on the top of the sweetheart neckline and strapless. Funny story is that this was actually the second dress I bought because the first one was apparently discontinued which they didn't bother to tell me until I was supposed to pick it up, and they did not want to refund me my money. I eventually got them to give me my refund and then needed to find another dress quick.
Hello Ladies... I've been lurking a bit, but now that I'm heading toward CD1 of this cycle and getting ready to TTC again, I thought I'd jump in here. Also, congrats @br0co1ii!!
Month/Cycle: 3/2 (TTA/Benched AL)
CD/DPO: 29/ 9 or 10, see RRCS
Timing: NA
Testing: NA - benched
R/R/CS: ***TW loss***
This is my first cycle post-loss, so I'm benched. But I actually ovulated within a reasonable time frame, which makes me happy. This is only my second cycle charting temps.
Question for experienced charters: FF changes its interpretation depending on how I put in OPK results. Both months I've charted, I've never turned an OPK positive. However, I do get *almost* positives. I test 3-4 times per day once the lines darken, so I don't think I missed my surge, and I definitely O'd. Based on temps and all neg OPK, FF puts O on CD20. However, if I mark my almost positive OPKs as positive, FF gives CD19 as O day. What would TTGP do? If this is going to be my normal pattern, I just want to figure out how to record things for future TTC cycles.
Also, can anyone tell me how link charts on mobile?
GTKY: my dress was a tea length strapless lace dress. I loved it!!! This was my dress, although I didn't wear the shoulder shawl.
Testing: AF is due on Tues. If none by Thurs, I will schedule a blood test at the clinic for Friday.
R/R/CS: I haven't really been feeling that great in the last week. It just sort of hit me and I know it's hormones. Just hoping it's the right ones. I feel very hopeful this month.
This was our last treatment at the clinic. In some ways, i'll be really sad b/c if it doesn't work out b/c we both want this so badly. But, i'll be happy my sex life will once again be just between me and DH without input on timing from my friendly fertility specialist.
GTKY: i'm a big fan of a-line dresses, especially with lace embellishments and I think short sleeves, would be better than strapless on me. I'm also a fan of non-traditional colors.
Congrats @br0co1ii and thanks for the tip about EPO!
CD/DPO: 28/9
Timing: -5,-3,-1
Testing: tomorrow because myself and DH have a full day together
R/R/CS: I have a really bad toothache since saturday but dentist cant do much because of swelling and sensitivity. Perscribed antibiotics and painkillers which are not killing the pain so im just miserable!! Also worried about the painkillers and the possibly being pregnant although i know not to act like i am til i am!! Any tips for pain relieve welcome!!
GTKY: Loved my dress but i dont know how to put pic in here??
Testing: Did it today...BFN. Officially waiting until 1/28.
R/R/CS: Life is good
GTKY: Love all of the wedding dress photos. I'm not married but I have a dream wedding Pinterest Board. Ultimately I will probably have a fancy courthouse wedding. But if I were to do it big I would love to wear the dress in the photo.
